Clean and modern property, very well equipped, quiet and private! Rural area and Easy to hear the sounds of the ocean and with a view of the mountainside. Perfect location for exploring all of the island but also local beaches close by. Fully fenced property with electric gate for added privacy and security. Goat yoga offered by a neighbor just a block away. Local grocery with great sushi and poke. If you are looking for a great stay with a local feel this is it. Absolutely perfect for us

An airy, immaculate studio space very easy to access, comfortable, provided a quiet, relaxing stay. A well stocked market is 5 minutes away, airport is ~30 min, we enjoyed sidestepping the touristy lodging treadmill. Sky, sunrise, mountain views, the sound of the tides and no light intrusions at night make for great sleep in the studio! It is clear our friendly hosts have taken a great deal of care in the selections, arrangement and maintenance of interior fittings & finishes. High ceilings and open space throughout all very nicely done this is a lovely place to stay!

The location was just far enough out of the busy parts of Kauai and the accommodations were exactly as described, if not better. The washer/dryer was perfect and we came home with all clean clothes! Lana was helpful and responsive to our questions. The bed was super comfy and the shower was heavenly! The property is very safe and secure and restful.

Superbly clean and spotless. I am a someone who likes very clean and this does not disappoint! It's a great little house located more in the country. Very quiet and peaceful and great views too. The first night we didn't have hot water but they took care of it right away and everything was great the rest of the stay.

Anahola Bay is super easy to access, by car, from Lana's spot. It's beautiful and there are some reefs and rocks that support fish, eels, crabs and at least one turtle :) that we can tell you about.
Our toddler loved the swing set and listened to us when we said "don't jump in the pool" (we knew there was no cover) so we also had a fine time when we weren't at Anahola beach.
Since there's no dishwasher or ventilation for the cook top, I wasn't tempted to do a lot of cooking, but there were a lot of other cooking appliances and the kitchen was really nice for preparing breakfast, frozen drinks, and snacks.
Lana and the other people we encountered on her property were friendly and responsive. We were comfortable at this spot and would happily return. Mahalo, Lana and family!

This stay was perfect for my husband our nine year old son and me.The property was gorgeous and the VRBO was amazing. It had all of the comfortable upgrades and everything we needed. We were close to a family friendly beach, just a short drive to Hanalei Bay or down towards, our favorite breakfast spot at Island craves. The owner was sweet and left us a welcome card and was quick to respond whenever we reached out. Having the beach chairs and towels to use was great for all of our days spent lounging by the water. The kitchen was perfect for cooking breakfast and lunches. We don’t have anything bad to say about our stay will definitely look it up again next trip to Kauai. Thank you!!

Very suitable for a couple who are looking for clean accommodation, privacy and easy access to Kauai surrounding area. Beware, roosters crow pretty much all day and very early in the am, although not sure you can get away from that unless you stay in a less rural area.

This property was fantastic for my wife and I. It had everything you could need for your Hawaiian vacation. It’s location to some less frequented but beautiful beaches was a major plus.

This property was like a little slice of paradise! We only wished we had spent the whole time here. Lana was so helpful and accommodating, the property is fully stocked and they even left a little gift for us upon our arrival. The yard was peaceful and full of fruit trees, the view of King Kong mountain (I forget the actual name lol) was majestic, and the tv and sound system made the heavy rain day (flash flood warning) a little easier to bypass without feeling like we were missing out on “vacation” experiences!
I will absolutely book with Lana again when we come back!

Beautiful studio suite with large kitchen with everything you'd need, leather sectional, comfortable bed, great bathroom with really nice shower (rain shower head). Deck with BBQ, washer and dryer, A/C. Private, quiet location. Couldn't ask for anything more. Super clean. Owner was really easy to communicate with offering to provide whatever we needed. Quick drive either way to Kapaa or Kilauea. We will definitely stay here again!

Lana’s spot was Amazing. My Partner and I were able to cook, wash clothes, relax, feel cozy and safe. The place is super clean, simple and Modern. Very Thankful to have been able to land there and enjoy this Kauai home away from home 💕

This place was more than we expected from the moment we entered the property. A gated property that leads you to your own little place. Owners have installed privacy screens that can be put up or taken down depending on your needs (we actually never crossed paths with anyone during our 7 night stay).
The studio itself is very updated! We were greeted with a nice note and a welcome gift. Spacious and with plenty of amenities. The bed was surprisingly comfortable!
I think most importantly the owner was very communicative and made sure we had everything we needed.

This studio is exactly as listed. It has a very convenient location right off of the main road. It was very clean with a tasteful modern design and has everything you need! Lana was easy to get ahold of and provided us with a welcome gift of chocolates. Mahalo Lana for making us feel the Aloha of Kauai! We would definitely stay here again.

My wife and I came here on our honeymoon and we were so blessed with Lana’s place! It was very clean and tidy. We had all the appliances we needed to make the meals we needed to while there. The AC was very cold and the coach and bed were very comfy. Lana invited us over to hang out if we wanted to and she also gave us the space that we wanted while we were on our honeymoon. She was so welcoming and we would stay here again if we ever come back to Kauai!

Amazing experience. The home was super clean and comfortable. It had every amenity that you would normally miss out on on a budget-friendly trip to a Kauai. The location is super convenient for trips to any side of the island. Such a lush, beautiful property with great views. Lana was very kind, informative, and responsive. Peaceful and great location
First time to Kauai and we wanted to see all around the island. This was the perfect location. The property was lovely with mountain views a and close to beautiful quiet beaches.
The interior of the studio is new, very clean and spacious for two. Lana (host) was friendly easy to get ahold of and reached out to check on us. They brought fresh fruit from the property and made us feel welcome and at home.
We enjoyed everything about our stay here.
We use Property rentals frequently and this one will not disappoint you in any way.

Mountain views, thoughtful touches, lots of privacy!
Lana was a wonderful and attentive host, and her studio suited our needs perfectly. The kitchen was well stocked with modern appliances for food prep (toaster oven, blender, rice cooker, slow cooker, grill) plus lots of Tupperwares and a cooler for packing beach/adventure picnics. We also made use of the handy beach towels and chairs provided. The fruits we sampled for breakfast (oranges, mangoes, lemons, avocados) were DELICIOUS. And the sound insulation in the studio is pretty great--the roosters didn't even wake us up! Mahalo, Lana!

Perfect !
I came to this island for my cousins wedding with my daughter. Lana's place was perfect. It was 12 mins away from where the ceremony took place and about 20 mins away from all the other wedding festivities. Everything was clean. The washer and dryer came in handy as I was able to wash all my clothes before going home. Which makes unpacking super easy! She had any and everything you would need. When I entered their was a card with my name on it and a box of Hawaiian Host chocolate macadamia candy on the counter. The area was quiet and the neighbors were friendly. I would definitely stay again.

Nice, clean place
Lana was able to accommodate early check in. She has many fruit trees in her backyard, which she picked for us to try it.
Lana lives in the main front house, so it’s very easy to communicate with her via text, very fast response.
Location: about 10 mins from Kappa, 15 -20 mins from north side and 45 mins going to Poipu.
This property is near north east/north location.
It was a bit fat for us when we travelled to Poipu. There are very little or no lights on the highway, so make sure to return back to the house before dark, it can be dangerous driving in the dark.

Great Vacation
We loved our stay and hope to return to Kauai again. Lana's place was wonderful! We appreciate being away from a lot of the large tourist crowds and were able to explore the island on our own.

Our rental experience was great! The place was impeccably clean. Had all the amenities we needed.
The best part was the location!! Alway from all the touristy/peopley areas, but close enough to get to everything within a reasonable drive. Nearby were some great restaurants as well. Would definitely stay here again hands down!!

Short stay
We enjoyed our stay. Lana and her family were very nice and welcoming. It’s a great place to stay if you want to be away from crowds but it’s close enough to Kapaa for shopping and dining. Great hikes in the area and beautiful beaches.

We had a fantastic time at Lana's studio! The studio is a dream and absolutely quiet and not at the tourist places. Perfect starting point to start excursions!

Perfect studio
Lana is the perfect hostess! She was great with communication throughout our stay. This was the perfect location for us as we spent 5 days enjoying both north & south shores. The place was very clean & just as pictured. We would definitely stay here again & highly recommend 😊

Better than pictures. Amazing beautiful property.
Perfection. Everything well thought out for our comfort. Excellent and timely communication with host. We are hot blooded (coming from Ohio’s winter) and we asked for a lighter blanket for the bed, to which Lana produced within minutes. The bathroom’s rain shower head was soothing after a day @ the beach and adventures. We will definitely be back!!! A perfect place for rest & relaxing. We did a bit of cooking and everything we needed was there and more. Thank you, Lana for such a wonderful experience.

Enjoyable stay
Lana’s place was a nice, new, and well- appointed unit with new appliances and a bbq grill. It is off the beaten path which worked well for the few days we stayed there. We split our stay on Kauai between the North and South shores and were able to take advantage of all of the North end activities from Lana’s place.

True Kauai Experience
We're frequent visitors to Kauai over the last 20+. years and staying at Lana's place was a great change of pace compared to lodging options in the standard tourist areas. The studio was perfectly clean and set on a lush 3 acre property. With the provided toaster oven and rice cooker, we managed to cook all our meals for the entire 9 day stay. Lana was always available for communication (even while she was on vacation with her own family) and she was truly pleasant to interact with.
