Benefit from a relaxing holiday with the highest standards of comfort in this four-star apartment with a south-facing balcony and a fabulous mountain view, on a generous garden plot. Your holiday accommodation is in Obertrain at Hallstätter Lake, a world cultural heritage region near Obertraun, to the south-east of Salzburg.A wonderfully relaxing holiday, away from car traffic, in a very comfortable four-star holiday apartment open all year round, with its own entrance and own balcony, near the Dachstein Krippenstein ski resort, in the midst of a mountain valley and near Hallstatt (Unesco world cultural heritage site)
The apartment has its own separate entrance. It provides a quality, modern interior, with many accessories to ensure a comfortable stay. It has under-floor heating in all rooms. The living space of 38m² comprises a living room-bedroom, a highly modern kitchen with a dining space, and a light and spacious bathroom. There is a double bed in the living room-bedroom at a comfortable height. In front of the bed there is a big wardrobe with mirrors, where you can store your luggage. Next to this there is a large flatscreen TV (119cm diagonal) with cable channels and a DVD player, so you can watch films you have brought yourself for entertainment in the evenings comfortably from the bed or sofa. The adjoining living room has been stylishly designed with new furniture. The CD player and stereo system with a radio can provide musical accompaniment to your holiday. Games and magazines are also available. Warm colours and plenty of wood create a cosy atmosphere. You will enjoy self-catering in the separate kitchen, with a convection oven, an 80cm ceramic hob, dishwasher, microwave and small electric appliances such as a coffee machine, toaster and kettle, as well as all the necessary cooking utensils and tableware. You can sit in the dining corner, with a corner bench and chairs, right by the window, and enjoy dining with a lovely view of the surrounding mountains. The separate shower room, flooded with daylight, is modern and newly designed. It provides a WC, washbasin, many cupboards and an extractor fan.
You can step out onto the south-facing balcony and enjoy breakfast or a coffee with a fabulous view.
A special feature: when booking from the beginning of September to the end of October, you receive vouchers for various trip destinations and attractions in the area, e.g. Hallstatt Salt Worlds, Traunsee or Wolfgangsee boat rides, Kaiservilla Bad Ischl, cable car rides etc. One person pays and the other is free. You can hire bikes locally at a supplementary charge.
Right behind the house there are cycling and hiking trails, as well as a cross-country skiing trail, so you can go on hikes and trips into the Koppenwinkl nature reserve behind the house. It is a ten-minute walk to a restaurant with excellent Austrian cuisine. The valley station, leading to the ski resort, is a 2-minute drive away. There are also a giant ice cave and the Five Fingers. Further afield, it is a 20-minute walk to the centre of Obertraun, where grocery shops, bakeries, newsagents and recommended restaurants await your visit. You can also find a pizzeria, an ATM and ski rental in the locality.
