On the west side of Port Angeles, this fresh 2 bedroom/1 bath cottage has been remodeled. New furnishings and decor, it is a wonderful home base for experiencing all the Northwest has to offer. It is a mere 20 minute drive to the Salt Creek Rec Area for wide sandy beaches, picnics, kayaking and tidepooling. Also 30 minutes from Lake Crescent for waterfall trails and lake kayaking.
Inside, relax in the warm and inviting living area with new, comfy furniture, streaming TV entertainment, and free Wifi. Enjoy making meals in the beautiful, well equipped kitchen, complete with pots and pans, range, oven, microwave and fridge. The two bedrooms have one queen and one with a full. The hall bath has a tub/shower combo with all towels provided. Washer and dryer. The back yard is fully fenced, good sized lawn, large pear tree, plus a new gas grill and seating.
*This is a pet friendly property; please inquire with weight, breed and training of your dog for consideration. Additional pet fee of $100 per booking will be requested at the time of booking. 2 dogs max. Our Pet policy will be required to be signed at the time of check in.

We had a great time touring Olympic National park. Port Angeles was the perfect base and we enjoyed our stay at the Hidden Chicken. Nice and updated home was lovely.

Very cute house! Great big windows in the common areas to let in plenty of light and from which to see the water out front at the mountains out back. While everything is a drive for Olympic, this place provided a perfect spot to serve as our home base. Our favorite “amenity” was the adorable family of wild bunnies in the back yard. They provided plenty of entertainment.

Clean, comfortable, quiet peaceful neighborhood. Felt safe. Plenty of towels and daily supplies. We found the “Hidden Chicken”and enjoyed watching the neighborhood bunnies. Loved our time there!

Beautiful cottage! Had absolutely everything you could want and was decorated perfectly with a great fenced backyard filled with blooming flowers. 5 min to ferry and town but walkable if you like a longer walk. Beautiful sunrise view from the living room and a Mountain View from the back with a cute nook if it’s too chilly to sit outside. Great storage for longer stays and nice laundry. My only regret is that we were so busy touring we didn’t have enough time to enjoy the cottage.

This was a perfect stay, as we had told the property manager that we were moving from Washington to Alabama it was perfect for my mother-in-law, my husband, myself and our three dogs very cute place. I will let all of my friends who visit Washington the Olympic peninsula to check out the VRBO. It is super cute loved watching all the bunnies in the backyard and even heard the story about the hidden chicken from the neighbor next-door thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful home

The house was great! All remodeled and new. Everything you need they had, we had family members over for dinner and didn't lack anything to cook dinner. The back yard was great and we sat out side and enjoyed the sunshine. The coffee shop down the street had amazing coffee and breakfast sandwiches if you need something before leaving town! I would stay here again and would recommend it to anyone!

The property was just about perfect. Everything was clean and well equipped. Even the neighbors are friendly! You should have the same mattress in the second bedroom as you have in the master. My adult children didn't really like that mattress but the master was great.
Also, the sliding barn doors don't work for bathrooms. (Lack of privacy) A full door would be appreciated.

Very cute place to stay. We enjoyed our stay but not sure why we had to take out the garbage and do the laundry when we had paid $130. cleaning fee up front. We found it a strange request.

Convenient location and equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. If there was any negative, 8th street is quite a busy street. It was entertaining to watch the baby bunnies that lived in the bush out front! Glad they never went in the street!! Would definitely stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay. The home was nicely updated and contained everything we needed for our stay. Despite being on a heavily traveled road, the neighborhood was very quiet at night. Restaurants and coffee shops are close by as is a grocery store.

As told to properly management the property was the cleanest we have ever stayed in. Was very satisfied with beds, seating in living room. Kitchen was nicely furnished with newer pots, pans and dishes. Yard was great for our dogs, plenty of room to run.
Cons: dishwasher badly needed in kitchen to sanitize dishes from guest to guest. Drains running very slow, garbage disposal would be nice. Experienced ants in kitchen around stove & frig for three days, finally got them under control.
Parking was a bit of issue as our car was to long to park in front of garage, but moving trash cans to garage area and parking in front of shed gave us the extra needed room.
All in all was a very pleasant stay and would highly recommend!

We enjoyed staying in this home. It was well appointed with all the items needed for a great stay. The beds in both rooms were very comfortable. Close to grocery stores, the ferry, and Salt Creek where we met friends. Would definitely stay here again.

The property was exactly as described and in a great location— close to downtown Port Angeles near all the restaurants and shops and a great starting point to visiting all the areas within and around Olympic National Park. We loved the fenced in backyard for our dog. We’d definitely stay here again in the future!

Had a wonderful time exploring the Olympics and the coast using Port Angeles as a base. This home was the perfect retreat. Very clean and neat, well apportioned, conveniently located, friendly neighbors, and helpful management. Would definitely recommend to friends and return again in the future.

This was the perfect landing spot for us during our trip to Port Angeles. The house has lots of space and a beautiful view of the Olympics from the kitchen dining nook. It is well stocked with everything we might possibly need. Plus, we appreciated the fun/quirky design touches. We'll be back!

Nice property, good location
Overall, the property is great. Nice quality, newly updated and loved the pear tree on the backyard. Couple of things to improve upon would be to add a dishwasher and a grill.
