My boyfriend and I rented this cabin for a relaxing getaway for my birthday. We rented a car, as opposed to a SUV, with no issues getting up the steep driveway. We arrived before dark, which was helpful, so we knew how to navigate the rocking slope. Once you get to the top, we were greeted by the most beautiful place! Pictures just don't do it justice. The house is clean, modern, simple decor and a place you can call home for a couple of days. We appreciated the ceiling fan in the master bedroom and I loved the full length mirror! Although we mostly utilized the main level and loft area, the basement was just as beautiful! The wrap around deck with the hot tub was my favorite part. We enjoyed our mornings with coffee, our afternoons with an adult beverage and the evenings in the hot tub, all with the view of mountains and nature. Gorgeous! The loft area inside had a huge comfy sofa where we relaxed and enjoyed Netflix after a full day of sightseeing. You cannot go wrong with this property!

The property was so nice and exactly what we were looking for. The house was magnificent…like brand new with top end furnishings throughout.

I am normally not wowed. First off, the cabin was perfect and the deck and views were priceless. The most impressive was that I asked them if there was Keurig coffee maker On property because that was the box that we bought. Although they did not, they delivered a brand new machine in the next morning for us. I don’t believe I’ve ever seen that kind of response in all of my years of traveling.

Our stay was very nice. The cabin was well stocked with needs, the instructions were clear and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

The cabin was just as described. The porch was perfect for morning coffee and evening wine - complete with great views. Secluded but close to enough to everything. We hiked, ziplined and kayaked. There was lots of wildlife. We were visited by a bear, wild turkeys, a family of rabbits and a muskrat. It was the perfect getaway for me and my husband. Next time we’re bringing the whole family.
We made it up the drive in a car but I would recommend at least crossover or small SUV in the summer.

Beautiful cabin, nicely situated on quiet mountain. Kitchen was well stocked, furniture very comfortable! Only issue we had was with trying to get ahold of someone on the weekend when we were having issues with the hot tub. It was a little over 4 hours before I got a brief response after multiple calls and texts. Otherwise lovely stay

Gorgeous cabin in the woods vibes, and definitely do take seriously the recommendation on having four wheel drive to get up the hill to the rental.

Very nice and clean new property. Great deck for outdoor use. Highly recommend. Road getting to property a bit steep so recommend an SUV. Close to Black Mountain and Asheville.

This place is awesome! Close enough to ashville to enjoy the city but also secluded and private place in the mountains. There are good trails right out the front door. We saw plenty of wildlife; deer, bears, birds, etc. I’d certainly stay there again.

Beautiful cabin in a private setting but also very convenient to both Black Mountain and Asheville. Nice to have the hot tub on the porch, and lots of places to relax. Only recommendation I'd make is that they might think about updating the cutlery, etc., in the kitchen. Knives were very dull. Everything else was perfect.

We had such a great time in the cabin. The cabin was well stocked, the location was great, and the hot tub was super fun for the family. We saw bears and enjoyed hiking around as well.

This rental was amazing! The views were unbelievable and it felt very peaceful. The cabin was beautiful inside and outside. Absolutely everything you need for a cabin getaway. The hot tub was an awesome bonus. About 25min drive to downtown Asheville.
I do have 2 recommendations. Add a sign to the driveway because it can get confusing going up the mountain and you might end up at the wrong house (like us)…fyi it’s a very steep driveway. The other recommendation is to get either a mattress foam pad or a new mattress on the main floor because it’s quite uncomfortable.
Thanks for a great stay! We’ll definitely be back!

This place was great. We were able to work remotely for the week. If we were both on a video call, the network could get a little slow but it still worked. The road to the cabin wasn't treacherous for us at all with a Subaru, but I can imagine in a bad snow storm or other storm it can get tricky if you aren't prepared. It also felt perfectly isolated, but still no more than 20 minutes from downtown.

The Knob
House was great, but hard to find. Would not recommend trying to find it at night. The listed directions were not exactly specific. It states to look for a gated community, which was not the kind we expected when trying to locate the property. Directions should state turning off the paved road & look for a single aluminum farm style gate entrance, plus ignore the no trespassing/private property signs going into the unpaved area. We thought we were going the wrong way a couple times. Other than this confusion, we were very satisfied with the property. The house was very clean & felt new. The views from the porch deck were beautiful!

Clean and beautiful
We enjoyed our time at this cabin. Beautiful inside and out. The drive up the mountain was a little stressful the first time but once we had made the drive the first time every other time was easy. Definitely arrive during daylight!! We enjoyed being close to Biltmore etc. Close enough to get where we needed to go and far enough to get away. Black Mountain is also a cool nearby town. We’ll come again.

Nice cabin
Overall, we enjoyed staying in this cabin. Everything seemed new and we enjoyed the views/surroundings. We had one issue with the shower on the main floor (wasn't draining properly and was spilling out onto the floor) and it was hard to get in contact with anyone (due to cell phone service not anything to do with the owner). It eventually got straightened out and we had no other issues.
