Clean, large, nice location

The house is a good size for a family. Three bedrooms each have a Q/F bed. The house is well stocked - there were some drainage challenges but otherwise everything was fine.

quite & nice place to stay

We stayed in this house for 3 nights. The house was clean. We had excellent time. BBQ in the evenings was a highlight of our trip! The kitchen was well equipped. Location is very close to Pine Mountain Lake and beach. Our kids enjoyed water activities and the next day we spent hiking at Yosemite, which is only about 30 miles from this house. Overall great experience!

Schönes Haus in ruhiger Lage
Alles da was man braucht in einer tollen Umgebung. Sehr sauber. Yosemite Valley ca. 60 Meilen. Viel Natur in direkter Umgebung. Einziger Minuspunkt war die Heizung. Eine Beschreibung fehlte und im April wird es gerade Nachts doch sehr kühl. Auf jeden Fall eine Ziel, wenn wir noch einmal in dieser Gegend sind.

Convenient location for winter getaway. Ideal for visiting Yosemite, if the Highway 120 opens.

First, I'll write why I put 4 stars. in the description of the house or on the day of check-in, nowhere is the information written that this is a closed area. this place needs a pass. I made a surprise to my husband for his birthday. I wanted to come a few hours before check-in and have a picnic by the lake, which is not far from my house. and then go to check-in. But the road to the lake is closed everywhere - there are barriers everywhere. the police approached us and said that we need to have a pass to this territory. and the house is also on this territory. so I had a surprise. when we went for a pass there we were told that we were not on the list. time was only 12 o'clock and check-in at 4 o'clock.
that is, taking a walk by the lake before settling in will not work. in the end we waited 4 hours in a small park on the road. upon arrival and obtaining a pass, we had 2 cars from us, they took 80 dollars. they did not write about this either - but on the contrary, free parking is written. in the end, we went to yosemite park for two days. and the lake turned out to be small and did not impress, it is not clear what it was paid for. if I knew these nuances, I would be looking for a house closer to Yosemite Park.
in general, the house is cozy, very clean and a special thank you gift. the fireplace is closed and does not look at the fire, but gives a lot of heat). I didn't like the hygiene products, but it's not for everybody. was not washed. in the future I probably won't choose this house for additional fees.

Good quiet area in the mountains.

The area is definitely quite quaint. Hidden away in the mountains, not many restaurants. However, it is quiet, clean, comdortable, and very close to Yosemite. I thoroughly enjoyed the stay.

The home was great, but $80 of hidden charges are added on after you make the booking that aren't mentioned before making the booking anywhere. You have to make sure you notice these charges in the "additional info" section in the booking confirmation email that you get and cancel the booking within 24 hours, otherwise you will not get your money back.

First we never received an email with instructions including the house combination code. I had to call Vacasa one hour before we arrived.
The home most everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Fans and air conditioning a plus. Kitchen has plenty of pots pans dishware, coffee maker, crock pot, blender, toaster , toaster oven, sunbeam grill, some cooking spices and oil. We brought everything we needed cook our meals including a coffee grinder & zip lock baggies since not many grocery stores or restaurants nearby. We love that we were able to bring our furbaby; but the yard is not fenced and we had to leash her whenever we brought her out. The deck does have a gate. Dogs are allowed on the nearby trails but unfortunately not at the beaches at Pine Mountain Lake. We had to travel to other lakes and other water areas that allowed dogs. Most places we have rented near water have beach accessories to use. You need to bring your own here. When you checkout they require you to run the dishwasher. There was dishwashing powder soap but no liquid dishwashing soap. I had to improvise to wash our water canteens and plasticware we brought. The garage had a washer and dryer, board games. Overall our stay was good. We enjoyed exploring mostly the surrounding areas of Groveland wherever dogs were allowed.

Ample space, quiet, deer around us in the morning. Near Groveland for food and groceries, around 1h to Yosemite Valley. Well maintained and stocked with essentials - including puzzles and a wooden train set for the kids!
Only drawback was a weird smell coming from the couch/carpets - prob pet related from previous owners.
Will stay again!
