My family enjoyed our stay and had a great time at the beach. The home comes with everything you would need for a great time at the beach- an umbrella, beach towels and even some beach toys. These were all enjoyed by my family.
The management company that they are using is not helpful whatsoever. I believe that I was either communicating with AI or someone overseas as the responses were generic and unhelpful. We were told the hot tub was out of service after we arrived and when I asked about a battery for the vacuum, I was told that “this is not an amenity offered”. Very frustrating especially considering that the floors were sandy when we arrived. I would consider renting this property again if they were to change management companies.

The house was clean and nicely decorated. A quaint layout with lots of space. The three season room on the back was our favorite space to relax. The owners have every thing you could want or need stocked. The hot tub was nice and easy to get in and out of. Beach is a short walk away and there are numerous restaurants near. Highly recommend this place if you are looking for a peaceful escape.

We really enjoyed the location, the hot tub, and all of the trees surrounding the house that kept it cooler in the summer. Our concern was for the mice that are getting in to the screened in porch and water, pressure being so bad that only one person can shower at a time without the water flow actually stopping. When I reached out to management, I got a thank you, but that was the extent of it. Hopefully the problem will be addressed for the next people that come in.

We loved the fireplace. Nice they left firewood so we could start our fire right when we arrived. Plenty of comfortable bedrooms. Never used the hot tub although we had planned on it. Wish we could have stayed longer.

This is an older home set among lots of mature trees within a mature neighborhood. The owners have thought of lots of little things to make a stay there cozy, comfortable and relaxing. It offers a lot of charm and I can see us booking another stay here in the future. The only constructive advice for the owners is to possibly look at updating the mattresses. I recall seeing other reviews comment on this.

There is a lot here to love. This home is comfortable and offers lots of options for relaxing and unwinding. The back deck, hot tub, screened in porch, convenient kitchen, dining area, office space and living room all offer great options for most any family.

The house was perfect. It's close to the beach, dunes, breweries, and vineyards. We also loved the hottub, fireplace, and three-seasons room.

This house was a great place to stay for a weekend! The hot tub was the best part. Close to beach and short easy drive to Notre Dame game. Thanks!

The house is only a couple blocks off the lake with a number of nice beach access points. Its also a 10 minute drive to the public beaches in New Buffalo. had a great time in the quiet neighborhood. We had one concern with the hot tub, which was addressed the same day by the property manager.
I downgraded our overall rating to 4 out of 5 stars because I think its time to upgrade the beds. the master(? top of the stairs to the right) was not very comfortable. We stripped the beds as requested at check out, it was obvious that bed has some miles on it.
The other bedroom ceiling fan did not work, or at least we couldn't get it to with any combination of wall and fan switch positions, which didn't really matter to us, our son enjoyed the pull out sofa in the office on the main floor.
Otherwise we had a great time on that side of the state and the property was enjoyable.

We loved being within walking distance to the beach and the less-crowded beach area. The house was in a nice, quiet neighborhood that felt cozy and woodsy. We really enjoyed the hot tub and screened-in porch for relaxing in the evenings. The house is clearly not brand new but we loved its' charm and it had all the essentials. The bedrooms upstairs were warm so be prepared with light clothing in the summer months. They do provide a fan in each room which was great! The showers were on the small side but worked for us. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and the pros greatly surpassed the cons of the home. We would for sure consider staying here again!

This place is beautiful! Clean and spacious, the photos don't do justice to how quaint this home is. A little warm upstairs, but it seemed to be an older home, so I think that was why. The neighborhood is safe and peaceful, and it really is only a few minutes walk to the beach!

The property was very nice. Hot Tub was clean. Beach chairs and other supplies are provided. Nice quiet area. There are 3 beds upstairs and 2 pull-out couches downstairs. There is enough space to fit 3 cars, but definitely not four. Beach and Pizza restaurant are in walking distance. We were pleasantly surprised.

The location was supposed to be close to the beach but the access is shut down bc of the water levels. Would have been nice to know this ahead of time!

start off, the check in instructions state that the "key in the lock box will open the door with code" it did include the code for the door, but did not instruct to forcefully turn the lock. it took over 15 minutes to get inside when i finally figured out on my own how to open the door. the key that was in lock box on back deck did not open any doors. this needs to be clearly stated before arriving. Secondly, the outside of the house was coverd in spider webs and dead bugs that have been sitting there for quite sometime. i was very understanding when the manager informed me that they must have "passed over" doing the outdoor blowing of all of the insects and huge spider webs, and agreed for them to just come and do a quick clean up the next day. That never actually happened. After i sent photos of the dirty washing machine that was filled with gunk, garbage etc, the bugs inside of the house in the corners, and the broken front step that any of my 3 children could have gotten severely hurt from, they offered a "gift card" for dinner. it was a nice gesture. but i had to call multiple times to even get it dropped off the next day, it was offered to us, we did not ask for it. on top of all of the unfortunate circumstances, the air conditioning was not working in the house. the thermostat read 78 degrees and no one was able to get to us until 9pm that night. We have a 7 month old baby, and that is not ideal for a baby. the amount of money we paid for 2 nights was not equivalent to the quality of the home. Severely disappointed, and unfortunately, i'm not sure i would ever use this company again, let alone recommend this company. I have rented enough vacation homes to know what kind of things to expect with few complications along with complications, and this trip was anything but enjoyable in regards to the home. i am human, and i do understand things happen, but the amount of issues/complications/uncomfortable situations, i only feel as though this was a neglect of the property.

Nice house, broken hot tub
My group did enjoy the the house, neighborhood, and beaches nearby. However, we did pay a bit extra in comparison to other properties since this listing had a hot tub. We learned after arriving that the tub was broken. The property manager was aware in advance, did not disclose this to us, and only offered $50 off per night. That’s better than nothing, but we would have picked other properties over this one had we known about the hot tub situation in advance.
Also, an fyi that the property manager is a company, Vacasa, that does not respond via Vrbo. They want you to download their Vacasa app, make an account and use that over Vrbo.

Nice small house with hot tub
We loved the hot tub, quiet neighborhood & furnished kitchen. Listed as 3 bedrooms, but twin bed is in a small landing area at top of stairs, outside bathroom between the 2 other bedrooms - not really a bedroom. Beds comfortable. House is a little aged & needs some repairs.

Beach Access
I stayed at this cabin twice. It's blocks away from an association lake Michigan beach. Perfect place to spend the summer swimming, relaxing, spending time with partners and family. It has a porch that's perfect for morning coffee or evening wine. I will caution guests that the property is old and it shows it. Could definitely use some love and renovations. Well it does have a nice and big hot tub, the first time I stayed it needed to be cleaned badly. The second time I stayed, I needed to fill water up and skim it for debris, but it was clean. All in all, I would definitely stay here again.
