And when it's time to call it a night, this home offers four cozy bedrooms on the second-floor including a kid-friendly bunk room.

Located on Siletz Bay, you can easily reach the sand for sunrise walks or hop in the car to visit some of the area's popular beaches including access at the end of SW 51st by Mo's Restaurant, just a mile-and-a-half away, as well as the oft-overlooked Gleneden Beach, four miles south. Downtown Lincoln City offers countless antique stores, unique shops, groceries, restaurants, and a terrific casino at the north end of town. And just 13 miles east, head out on Drift Creek Falls Trail, a popular hike with a gorgeous waterfall and suspension bridge.

We had a lovely stay at this clean, spacious, comfortable house along Siletz Bay just south of Lincoln City, with our son's family. The kitchen was well furnished with plenty of space for cooking and visiting with family in the adjoining living room and dining room. There are four comfortable bedrooms upstairs, as well as a sitting area along the upstairs landing. So plenty of space, providing a quiet area at night for both children and adults. The beds were comfortable and we appreciated the fans that were provided for ventilation although since the house is right along the Bay it was never hot. We also enjoyed the open deck which faces Siletz Bay and the private hot tub in the evenings. It is in a great location for watching sunsets and enjoying quiet beach walks. Our nine year old granddaughter loved exploring all the amazing driftwood trees scattered along the beach, playing in the sand when the tide was out, as well as wading and learning to dig for the local purple varnish clams. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Tipsy Kraken house and would recommend it as a great place for a family vacation. Thank you!

We brought our three adult kids and our 2 year old granddaughter for our annual family trip, and it was perfect. Lots of things on-site for Littles and fur babies. The kitchen is well equipped. Don’t worry about packing utensils or pots and pans.

The house was beautiful and peaceful. It's near by all the attractions and just steps away from the beach. We all had a good time and left with great memories. We definitely plan on coming back.

Lack of chk out instructions. Quite a search to locate outside garbage receptical. Lights burnt out, couldnt find replacement bulb. There was NO description showing no beach access.

This house has a fabulous kitchen with all the tools you may need. The hot tub is just out the back door, and the view of the bay from the living room was perfect for adding to our morning coffee

This was a lovely home on Siletz Bay in a charming neighborhood walking distance from The Pelican Brew Pub. The home easily accommodated the 4 people we had with plenty of space for 4-5 more including parking for 5 vehicles. The deck and views of the bay were awesome with no road noise, only the sounds of the ocean. The hot tub was awesome with an awesome view of the bay from the hot tub that was magnificent! We would stay again.

We had a wonderful family vacation in this home. It was plenty big enough and had so many amenities. All the beds were very comfortable and two of the bedrooms were huge with walk in closets. The shower on the second floor is Amazing. We had a beautiful view of the bay as well. The down falls; 1. There was no check out information on what needed to be done or what was required and the big garbage can outside was completely full when we got there so I called Vacasa to get check out instructions and also to ask about the garbage and what we needed to do with all of our garage and we also wanted to know when the garbage man comes. Someone was supposed to call me back but never did. 2. The house was infested with daddy long legs inside the house. We killed over 20 of them within our first hour of getting there. 8 were in the main floor bathroom and we continued to have more and more daddy long legs in that bathroom during our whole stay. Lots of cobwebs throughout the home so we went through and tried to vacuum most of them. (Those spiders should have been killed and the cobwebs should have been cleaned up before we got there. Please note that those spiders didn’t come after the cleaning people cleaned because the cleaner was still there when we checked in at our check in time at 4:00pm) I called Vacasa on this issue to let them know that someone should come out and maybe spray after we leave. The representative said she made note of that. 3. Almost ever dish/silverware/pan we tried to use was filthy. We ended up washing every single dish before we used it. It was definitely not ideal. Aside from the spiders and the dirty dishes it was a beautiful home and we had a great time.

A quiet area with an amazing view. We really enjoyed relaxing and watching the water view. Seagulls, ducks, bald eagles and more were right out the window, and we even spotted some seals from time to time. There is also a little park (green space no kid toys) with beach access less than a block away which was nice.

Our whole family really enjoyed our stay. The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals, there were extra towels provided for showers and hot tub, and we had plenty of space for 3 couples and 2 kids. And when something wasn’t quite right, the property manager called us in advance to let us know. Great communication! Our only (and small) critique was that the hot tub chemicals needed balancing and there was some mold/mildew in on the super-high/hard to reach ceiling in the upstairs bathroom. Nevertheless, we’ll be back again. Thank you!

A group of us gals enjoyed a few days at this property . We loved the view, and found it clean, with everything we needed but heat. The heat did not work, and it is quite cold in the mornings. We reported the lack of heat and someone came out. Nick could not get the heat to work either. After making a call, he discovered that the heat was broken and there had been a work order placed (a month ago) that hadn't been taken care of. The lack of heat was disappointing and we spend a few hours each morning trying to keep warm. Other than no heat, we enjoyed our stay. Sue, Salem, Oregon

We had a family group of seven with three adults and four teenagers and the house was fantastic. Accessing the house was quick and easy, the location was great, the house had most everything we needed for our stay. It was clean and well maintained.

The view from the house is beautiful! Loved the location and proximity to the beach. Hot tub was secluded, neighborhood was quiet and plenty of room for our pup to run. House was clean and well equipped. We will stay again!
Negatives: house is a bit outdated and would be nice to have a king bed in the larger bedroom.

Can't beat the view, you are right on the water. The house was great. My only suggestion is to have some sort of book of instructions for check out process. I didnt get instructions until I checked out and was walking out the door. Had to rush around to strip the beds. There are alot of things missing from the cupboards that are labeled. We also didnt know what to do with trash. Other than the lack of instructions we enjoyed our stay.

Location was excellent, we enjoyed our star at this beautiful property. Well kept in terms of decor and maintenance. Hats off to owners for having everything we needed for our stay. Housekeeping was very poor - we found cake piece left over from previous stay underneath the dining table. Dust on all the furnitures and utensils were filthy dirty had to wash everything we wanted to use … We understand shortage of employees these days so thankful for accommodating us during this busy season.
