Accommodation well kitted out and owner quickly responded to a shower problem we had.

It was super comfortable and in a great location for exploring around the Aviemore area! The house was very clean and comfortable with clear communication from the owners. Our two kids (4 and 3 years old) had an amazing time playing in the garden and used the DVD’s like their personal library. Would highly recommend this house for a stay!

We loved our stay in Boat of Garten and the home couldn’t have been better. It was meticulously clean when we arrived, the kitchen was extremely well stocked with everything you could need to comfortably cook in if you choose, and the travel cot and high hair were provided as requested. This home is clearly lovingly cared for and everything inside is in good condition. It really did feel like a home away from home. We wish we could have stayed longer!

We stayed at the cottage with three persons for ten days and really enjoyed the time. The cottage (especially the kitchen) is fully equipped with everything you need for a relaxing holiday. For us, the beds were very comfortable. As the house is at the end of dead end, it is a very quiet area. Garden furniture is available as well, so in the evening we loved to sit on the terrace and having dinner or some drinks outside. The communication with the owner was without any difficulty. Thanks again for allocating the cottage to us.

Lovely property in beautiful location
We stayed here during the first half of the Easter school week. Two adults, a teenager (!), an 8 year old and a beloved lab! Unfortunately the weather was not as good as we hoped so we were grateful for excellent wifi in the home when the rain prevented our outdoor plans
Well presented property, ideal size for us for a short break. Easy to find and only a short walk from the local hotel which served great food and drink (if a little pricey).
House was very clean and it was great to see that the owners had stocked it with useful items in the kitchen that one always forgets to bring, but that you only need a little of. That was a considerate touch
Highly recommend this owner. Would have been perfect location for a golf break to this area. Also only a short hop to Aviemore, the mountains and the excellent Landmark centre.
Only criticism of the property was the electric heating which was a little inconsistent and struggled to keep the place warmth enough for my partner and the kids.
Overall a great choice, close to all local area has to offer

Boat of Garten.
Very clean and well appointed. Only downside was the water heater clicking on which was extremely noisy if you were in the bedroom with the double bed. Made for disturbed nights. Which was unfortunate as everything else was outstanding.

Fantastic holiday - well equipped and excellent location
The house it located in a quiet cul-de-sac with ample and easy parking. The house was immaculate inside. The kitchen had every utensil you could think off and loads of pots, pans, dishes etc. The garden was peaceful and the garden furniture was put to good use. The bike shed was brilliant and we fitted 2 adult (1 lof those with very large wheels) and 2 child bikes in there. The beds were comfortable and the twin bed layout worked well for our 2 kids. There were loads of dvds to choose from and games. The bonus for my son was the collection of storey tree house books in the cupboard as he could read the ones' he couldn't find in the library! We had a challenge with the door code on arrival but a quick call to Catriona and this was sorted within 5 mins despite them being in an area with limited phone signal.
We would recommend this place to friends and family and would certainly consider a return visit. There was so much to do around the area including, climbing Cairngorm, tubing at Cairngorm, biking in the local forest, walking down to Milton Loch and lazing on the beach at Loch Morlich.

An excellent base for a week in the Cairngorms
The property has been recently refurbished and was in immaculate condition. The owners have thought of everything and provide excellent information for guests upon arrival. We were also welcomed with a nice bottle of wine and a packet of tablet. Alison was a pleasure to deal with and was happy to arrange additional items for our 1 year old for the week. All communication was prompt and nothing was too much trouble. The house is in a central residential area in Boat of Garten and is an excellent base for exploring all that the village and wider area have to offer. Highly recommended!
