So perfect. Clean. Lots of things to do and the equipment to do it. We saw a ton of wildlife. The trails in the back were perfect for us and our dog. Great communication with owner, and easy to follow directions. Just be aware that you really are in the middle of nowhere and no cell service. (There is wifi and a land line phone).

We loved the quiet! Saw some wildlife and enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Main cabin was well stocked and had everything we needed. Host communicated quickly to any requests. Recommend this place!

The cottage is ok! However if you are booking a summer getaway at this cottage, please beware of garter snakes, especially if you have phobia for snakes....the main purpose of booking this location to enjoy outdoor was defeated, almost every few steps around the compound, you will see a garter snake, paid for a 4night stay, but checked out after the 1st night due to my phobia for snakes. It would have been really nice if the host had included in the listing, that the area is infested with garter snakes. The frightening part for me and my kids , was when they saw the snake slithering the stepstool of the hottub. My kids also could not enjoy the pool as the water was cloudy, the host did message a day before our check-in that the pool was functioning and chlorinated, however the water was cloudy because the filter was not delivered yet.

We had a fantastic time at this property. Lots of space for our family of 8, a great variety of things to do right on the property (both inside and out), and some really unique touches. The separate bunk house, the semi tame foxes and the incredible number of hummingbirds made this a truly memorable vacation for our family!

Property is very well kept. Lots of room for the kids to run around and play. Plenty of games and outdoor activities for everyone. Pool and hot tub were a bonus. Certainly would rent again. Trails are great for walking or ATV.

Remote but nice.
Would have appreciated knowing there was a pool and a dishwasher in the listing. Otherwise a good stay. Be prepared to do battle with the mosquitos and horse flies. Nice pool and hot tub.

Magical Family Retreat
3 generations of family - Our second time staying here. Two cabins were generously stocked with all the basics. Clean cabins and beautiful location. Trails were well maintained for daily walks around the property. Great laundry machines with soap etc. so we were able to wash all our clothes before leaving. Many hours spent around the fire pit - loads of wood pre chopped and ready to use. Large hot tub in a well maintained area not too far from the house so we could enjoy the tub on cool winter nights and run back to the house. Main cabin had wifi, netflix & more for evening viewing. Also board games and toys for little ones. For summer vacations, there is even a pool! Highly recommend this property for families with little kids.

Leave Stress at Home
Beautiful and well stocked home. Felt instantly relaxed and at home in the spacious main building. We spent hours enjoying nature as we walked the groomed trails. Owners were wonderful and very responsive. My family of 8 all asked at the end of our time when we could come back. Close enough to Winnipeg that it’s not a ‘big’ drive. 10/10 on all aspects-property, location, home, extras and owners!

Undiscovered gem
This is an undiscovered gem. We had never been to South eastern Manitoba before so this was new territory for us. There were many options for things to do on the property, such as games for young and old. The lake is fairly close, with canoes available. Unfortunately due to the fireban we weren't able to canoe or make use of the firepit, the hot tub made up for that though. Lots of room and our dog loved being able to roam around the property. Would go back!

Great experience
We took our kids and grandkids here for a few nights and we loved it. Plenty of space for everyone. They have alot to do to keep busy, and trails on the property to explore. My grandson found his love for archery during our stay. Also extremely relaxing with the fact that there's not really anyone else close by (other than 1 friendly neighbor who I met briefly).
Hot tub is a major bonus!
Without question, our family will be back another year.
Communication has also been amazing!
Thank you so much Richard and Eveline
