We love this home. We’ve stayed in another property by the owner before and I’m pleased to say this home was clean, cozy and well equipped like the other home.
We liked that this home allowed dogs and we brought our newly rescued dog with us. We didn’t want to leave her for a week and I think she enjoyed it too. With a gate at the front steps we could let her out on the porch with us, she could roam to the back and had lots of space to explore. The bedrooms were a good size and the beds were comfortable. And the ‘kids’ loft (our name for it) was perfect for the kids. They had a space of their own to hang out while the adults had our main floor space as well. Overall it was a great week and we would definitely book this home again.
The location is fun as well. The beach is clean and the neighbourhood is very friendly. There are a lot of good places to eat and a number of grocery stores in the area to shop at as well. And if you are looking for more than a beach while on vacation Niagara Falls is only 20 min away.

We had a wonderful vacation at this beautiful, spacious, welcoming cottage in Crystal Beach. With many different places to sit and just be with family at this cottage, we played games, read books, caught up with our family member’s lives, and even made s’mores on the fire pit in the backyard.
We highly recommend staying at this wonderful cottage.

I’m reluctant to say how great this house is because I selfishly want to be able to book it again! Very comfortable (including the beds, which is hard to find in a rental!). Front porch is just perfect and you’ll find everything you need in the kitchen. Top notch accommodations.

We had a wonderful stay! The house was immaculate and beautifully decorated with high quality furnishings.
The beds were very comfortable and the wrap-around porch lovely for sitting outside.
It’s just a short walk to lovely bay beach and small cafes and stores.
A perfect vacation stay!!

Pura Vida was a lovely rental. Very clean, well stocked and plenty of room. A nice layout with two bedrooms on the main floor and a spacious loft with 4 beds. Washer and dryer were handy. Smart TVs in living room and loft. Fenced-in yard. 1/3 mile to Crystal Beach, an easy 10 minute walk. Plenty of stores and restaurants around. Teri, the rental manager, was extremely helpful and answered questions immediately, even on the weekend.

for accommadations costing almost 500.00/night I expected better. Stained porch sofas, worn and torn on family room sofas. towel bars torn out of wall in main bathroom. shower in main bath appeared to have mold in front upper right corner and there are no safety bars in shower/tub area making it unsafe for seniors of our age (70 and 73). final day clean up to much work having to even put away clean dishes from dishwasher (what did we pay cleaning for?) and having to dispose of garbage too. For that price I wanted better and less work. The grass was unevenly cut, ditch area in front untouched, garden had weeds and no landscaping in back at all.

We booked this cottage for 7 nights and had a terrific experience and thoroughly enjoyed the ammenities and the proximity to the beach.
Myself, my 2 teenagers and my parents stayed here.
The decor is lovely, the kitchen was well stocked, the beds were comfortable and the beach passes saved us a lot of hassle and expense.
The decor is lovely and “beach” inspired and the spacious covered porch was where we adults spent a lot of our time. There are also real plants in the cottage which gave it a homey feel.
The kids loved the loft space on the second level. They were so pleased with the variety of board games and their own TV with Netflix.
We also enjoyed the backyard fire pit in the evenings and had a great time making s’mores.
Some places I’ve rented didn’t allow use of the washer/dryer or provide any linens, so this was a major plus for us.
My mom and I loved the fire table for early morning reading with a cup of coffee on the front porch.
Teri, our host, stopped by the day after check in and delivered extra propane for the BBQ and was full of suggestions for dining options in the area and things to do that weekend.
She was extremely friendly and helpful.
We made a few minor suggestions by email after we left - just small things we picked up on during our stay - there were holes in the main bathroom walls from towel racks that once were hung there - and now missing.
But we had no complaints at all.
We highly recommend this cottage and Teri was a pleasure to deal with.

Had a wonderful time with family. The unit was set up well for our family size. Really enjoyed the front porch.
Our only issue was pet hair. I'm sure if we were pet owners this would not be an issue but we are not. A little more care in the vaccuming would have been appreciated.
We would stay again on our next visit to the area.

Therapy with peace and tranquility at Crystal Beach
My kids and I spent a week at this cottage and it was amazing...peace, tranquillity, and just pure relaxation. The cottage was stunning and well kept; and the property contact, Teri Lyn, was so kind and accomodating to our needs. I actually really valued my communication with her most of all. She was very easy to connect with and willing to be flexible. The locals were kind and welcoming, and the beach itself was lovely.
Just what we needed, to be honest!
Would highly recommend!

Great location and amenities
Love the location, nice back roads drive to get to both Niagara Falls and Niagara on the lake, and explore the various beach areas nearby. The beds are very comfortable and clean, loved the two large bathrooms, Terri was very helpful and quick to respond to our few questions. The property matched the description on the site.

Great week at Crystal Beach!
We had a lovely stay at “Pura Vida at the Beach”! The property was clean, nicely decorated and perfect for 2 families (4 adults and 5 children under 10). A short 5-10 minute walk to the beach and amazing weather all week had us enjoying the white sand and warm water everyday! The 2 full baths, 2 smart TVs, washer/dryer, dishwasher and 3 bedrooms and loft with bunk beds gave us all the amenities we could ask for. Was nice to have 2 separate living spaces so adults and kids could each have their own space. Host was lovey to deal with. Would certainly stay there again!

Great Family Vacation
This home was beautiful, lots of decorative details to make it feel like home. Kids absolutely loved sleeping in the loft room. Front porch was also amazing for relaxing in the afternoon or later in the evening. We walked to and from the beach 2-3 times a day. Teri was great to deal with! Really enjoyed our time here!
