Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful old home. Loved having the warm fire in the lounge area to gather around. Close to everything. Michael our host was very helpful.

Unfortunately the Weather was not great, for our 3 day stay-but the house had great heating and ample reading material. Apple and Netflix Tv provided.only a short walk to the main shopping area and a 5 min walk to the RSL, which had good takeaway.

A beautiful home with a log fire option with wood provided, so cosy! This home has lovely period features and is in a good location: walk to shops, RSL and Echo Point lookout. Our dog also enjoyed the property and loved a good lie down in front of the fire. The spa bath was a real bonus! The host was very easy to contact and communicate with. We would definitely stay again, especially in the cold months. A lovely relaxing and enjoyable holiday at Silver Mist.

We'd a brilliant 4 days with young kids. Silvermist is so well equipped and stocked for families or those just looking for a bigger home to chill out in. We didn't care that it was raining all day (not unusual in Katoomba :) because when we got back indoors, the home was cosy.
Michael was great at letting us know how to access and use the house. We'll be back, hopefully this year. Thanks Michael and Anita.

The property is a survivor from renovations. It is a time capsule of 1930s Australia. I felt like I would run into Sir Robert Menzies in the hallway !
Michael the host, had great communication and service. We will be back for family Christmas in July!

Homely and accomodating
We enjoyed our stay as the location was fantastic. However, we didn’t like the 3pm late check in and early 10am check out as when we usually book trips we can stay longer. The reason given to us was poor as they said someone was checking in early, however we couldn’t check in until 3pm ourselves. The front grass was overgrown so consider this for your pets. Overall the house was cosy, beautifully presented and well maintained. Despite our grievance we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.

Great location. Well equipped.
We were happy with our stay. The house is comfortable and has the provisions you would expect. It is close to everything and has easy street parking out the front. I experienced good communication from the managers and the pace is easy to find.
The bedroom layout is a little unusual but it worked for us. The main bedroom is lovely.

Great property
We had a lovely time at Silvermist. The house has been tastefully renovated and maintains an old world charm with modern conveniences. We were 4 adults and 3 kids and the house was spacious enough for us all. Great location, easy walk into town and to the 3 sisters.

Delightful period home, clean, warm, elegant. Close to Hotel Blue for jazz, Katoomba RSL for live music, echo point. Seven golfing ladies thoroughly enjoyed the home. Hard to leave the comfort and play golf. Right price as well

Beautiful stay
My sisters and I took our mum away for a few days and chose Silvermist as a base. What a beautiful house it is. Everything you want is there, it's a home away from home! The gardens are stunning and a great place to relax with a book or a nice drink. We would love to go back and enjoy the ambiance of this lovely well presented and cared for home. Thank you Tina and Patrick for allowing us to have such a wonderful time away with our mum.

Best holiday house in Katoomba
Loved everything about the house! The location is central you can walk to all attractions. Warm and spacious...this house has been renovated to a high standard. Loved the old style pianola, the underfloor bathroom heating and the comfy beds. Can recommend to everyone for a great mountains retreat.

excellent weekend retreat
Us girls had the best time at Silvermist. We stayed two nights and enjoyed both nights in front of the beautiful fire. The house is located within walking distance to local Katoomba cafés, restaurants and supermarkets. Silvermist has been beautifully renovated yet retains it's heritage and charm. The house comfortably sleeps up to 7 people. Thanks Sam and Matt for the welcome drink. You've got a beautiful place for a girls weekend away or family stay!

The perfect Winter get away
This is the ideal house for a group of 6 people looking to escape the city for a Winter break. The fires were a major hit, as was the under floor heating in the bathrooms and electric blankets - we were never cold. The kitchen is fully equipped which made cooking a large roast dinner a breeze. The property itself is faultless. Clearly well maintained and looked after - very impressed. Will definitely book again. Tina and Patrick were a delight to deal with also.

So comfortable and lovely!
What a wonderful property! It's so warm and inviting and filled with beautiful, comfortable decor. The pianola is the best! This was our second visit and I wouldn't hesitate to book it again and recommend it to others. This is the place! Thank you Tina & Patrick!

Just What the Doctor Ordered!
With our teenage boys at school camp, my girlfriend and I headed up to the Blue Mountains for a couple of days of R and R. To keep things short and sweet, here is the rundown: spacious, clean house with room to move and underfloor heating in the bathrooms; comfortable beds, great kitchen with view onto the garden and a fantastic location near restaurants and a three-minute drive to the centre of Katoomba.
