Chiara, Lorenzo and Nunza made staying in Castelmola great!!
Stunning view from the room!
4.4
excellent location, spacious room and balcony, medieval design, friendly staff
poor breakfast, lack of some basics in the room (tea, coffee)

We had a room with a great Etna view from the terrace! The owner gave us clear instructions on how to park the car and get to the appartment by climbing few steps. It was really worth it. Appartment is in the centre of Castelmola.
Breakfast was italian style - fresh coffee and sweet fresh bakery.
Amazin place!

Amazing view to Etna and mountains, central location in very beautiful Castelmola, very helpful and friendly staff, close to several very nice restaurants. Good heating for winter!

A beautiful location, right in the centre of Castelmola, the old Borgo has been fitted with fresh modern rooms and spa. Beautifully done. We also brought our Vizsla and everyone was so welcoming of her!
This is completely subjective, but the mattress was memory foam which didn’t suit my partner. That’s the only thing we didn’t like (it was fine for me)!
4.4
The view!
Limited options of restaurants around.

Everything was perfect. We spent two nights in the apartment with a terrace, with a spectacular view over Etna volcano. Both living room and bedroom were spacious and cosy, while the beds were comfortable. Kosta was a great host, always trying to help us :)
a tea set would be nice in the room

A room with a view to the mountain etna
Poor breakfast, very basic few things (mainly croissants and some cookies, weird ONLY scrambled eggs (no bread or veggies, etc.)). Google maps brought us to a wrong place. The host seems to be aware that this can happen (a mistake in Google maps) but no advance warning has been made. When we mentioned this upon arrival and suggested adding a comment/ pre-warning to the guests, no interest was shown by the host which indicates no wish to improve the services provided/hospitality.

Good location if you want to stay in Castelmola and not do much travelling. Great host Veronica and the lovely housekeeper who keeps the place very clean.
Parkings are costly and you’ll need to walk up and down the hill to get to the car. Some fruit options for breakfast should be included. The room had some fixtures broken, such as non working lights, shower hose holder.

The B&B is great, especially the location /view
The breakfast was one of the sparsest we have ever had. We ate from paper plates and with plastic cutlery. Very disappointing! At check-in, we and our 2 children heaved our suitcases and bags up the countless steps to our room - accompanied by the hostess, who did not offer to help us. Hospitality at its best.

The terrace & view is wonderful
The shower is tiny

- spacious room and comfy bed!
- kitchen is essentially equipped (for example, you have to prepare tea, coffee, oil, and salt yourself)
- breakfast is typical (croissant, marmalade/honey and coffee) and free buffet style
- the hosts are super supportive and friendly! thank you :)
- the bathroom is a bit dark, shower space a bit small
- parking is not allowed (residents area) at the property site but a bit away (like 5 mins walk with stairs) in the paid public parking space (11.5€ per day we paid via Easypark app) if you have heavy luggage, you can drop it first at there first and go parking later according to the host, just to share this awareness:)

Good location (village).
Few equipments were broken
Pictures are not at all representative of the rooms, and the place.

Beautiful room and building. Location is absolutely superb! Loved our time in their lovely little spa too - just what we needed! This is a truly excellent property. Highly recommended
The bed was too hard and rigid for me so not a comfortable sleep, but that can be a personal thing. Some people prefer that. I prefer support but some softness.

Hotel located in a beautiful small village founded on a rocky mountain. Thanks to that the room we stayed in had a view of Etna as well as the sea line. Both room and the bathroom are spacious (though I can confirm other's observation that the shower cabin could be bigger). Good starting point to go on a short hike to Monte Venera.
The walls barely block sounds so guests in other rooms are quite well audible. Kitchen is very poorly equipped so I wouldn't count on preparing own meals. Those are small inconveniences for such an appealing place, though.

The location, view and the setting of the apartment were lovely.
My wife would have preferred to have a shelf in the bathroom for cosmetics. Breakfast was basic...yet I still highly recommend this apartment

Location is great, 2 min to the Duomo square in Castelmola.
The croissants at breakfast were amazing!
Everything very clean.
No storage in the bathroom.

Clean, spacious room. Central location. Perfect view on volcano Aetna! Overall very happy with our stay.
Breakfast was not good/not fresh, could be much better for this price.
Rooms have very poor noise isolation, we could hear every single word of our neighbours - was not an issue for us, as we sleep well, but could be a sensitive issue for others.

The nice view and delicious breakfast!
Veronica is very helpful! She showed us the parking spot and gave us tips about possible sightseeing locations.
Nothing.

You can see Etna from the balcony, and we did see the eruption at night!
Our host was very friendly and helpful.
Isn't 'luxurious', not too clean too. Everything covered in dust, one of the pillowcases was terribly stained. The shower stand was broken.
The view is not like it's on the pictures here, there's a new huge building being constructed right in front of the balcony.

Everything. The building is lovely and has amazing views. Veronica is very helpful as well
Nothing. Our stay was perfect.
