About this towable trailer rental
The Pea Pod is best thought of as a fancy hard-shelled tent on wheels to whisk away on your outdoor explorations. Perfect for when you don’t want a huge camper, but don’t feel like sleeping on the ground & would like some creature comforts to come back to at your base camp after a day’s adventures. Make coffee inside & enjoy a rainy day through the classic round windows, control the climate with heat/AC or enjoy the breeze with the versatile windows & vent fan.
Lightweight (1660lbs empty, GVWR 1939lbs, ~175 tongue weight) teardrop camper, easily towed with 2" ball hitch & 7-pin connector, & at 16' length tongue to bumper, it works well at some of the smaller sites at the state, national, & county park campgrounds that get you up close with nature & trailheads, lakes, etc.
Inside, the Pea Pod has a U-shaped dinette that makes into a queen bed to sleep 2 comfortably. A 3" memory foam topper encased in mattress pad & duvet cover is included & folds out easily to make into a comfy queen bed that rolls back up to a huge pillow bolster for the back of the dinette in the day. Inside is a basic kitchenette with refrigerator, 2 burner stove, limited cold water sink. Interior height is 5’9”. 2 heaters, AC, 2-way vent fan to pull air out or bring air into the camper. No bathroom, but porta potty is available.
Plan to pack light & keep some supplies in your vehicle (the 3 overhead cabinets at the back are left empty for your personal necessities). Epitomize glamping on the road with this looker!
