Good stay
Good spot in Wick, ten minute walk to the train station (best check to see if the train is on time before leaving), 15 to the distillery, and a fair amount of the center of Wick. The room was pleasant, and quiet (facing the back), Good amenities and cycle storage inside if you are using a bike. Friendly in keeper and good location in general.
Common areas may need a refresh

Nice rest stop
Location, really good shower and friendly staff.
Place is rather old and dingy. Can't eat in the room although. You could however eat at the bar with cutleries provided.

Good
The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean.
The room was a bit small. It's fine for staying one night, but if I were staying longer I would prefer something bigger.

Good
Small, basic but clean room that offered a clean, comfortable nights rest. Bathroom looked brand new and tea/coffee facilities were adequate.
Downstairs bar was closed that looked like it could've offered a lively night!

Poor
Location
Not the best of places we have stayed in. Very shabby and a damp smell in room. Shower not the cleanest with black mould in corners. I appreciate the age of the building but feel the host couple are fighting a losing battle.
