Really enjoyed our summer visit.
5.0
Our family, including kids under 12, loved staying here. The location was great - we could walk to the mountain village and enjoyed eating at the restaurants and playing in the stream on the mountain. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful - we saw a fox daily and even saw a moose in our front yard! The deck and hot tub were perfect for relaxing and we enjoyed them daily. This rental felt like home and had everything we needed. This was our first visit to Steamboat and we weren’t expecting to have to drive so much (most of the summer activities we did required going into town) but we also loved being up closer to the mountain. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

No door on one of the guest rooms, broken washer, broken dishwasher! However, the property manager did fix the washer. And the home was gorgeous and comfortable!

This is a wonderful property with a lot of space for spreading out or gathering together in one place. The out standing feature for us was the amazing view from the large deck. You could sit and watch the afternoon thunderstorms roll up the valley from miles away. Great house.

We loved our stay at the house. The neighborhood is quiet & peaceful, was able to park our cars in the garage and on the driveway, easy entry access, nice yard for dogs, well stocked, super comfy beds & couches, close to gondola, gigantic deck with hot tub, and the house is gorgeous! Thank you for the hospitality!

Off Season Fun
We love visiting Steamboat during the slow seasons to bike, fish, and walk around town. This is one of our favorite homes to rent when my extended family comes along on vacation with my husband and two young children (4 and 2 yrs). This home is walking distance to most everything we wanted/needed: Plum grocery/ restaurant/liquor, restaurants, The brewery tasting room for Storm Peak, the mountain base (which is where we typically hang out and play but this year the gondola isn’t open until the end of June unfortunately and the River is diverted currently). We loved simply relaxing at the house: playing in the hot tub, enjoying the second story patio with a little sunset/mountain view, and cooking lovely meals. A wonderful home to rekindle family love. Only criticism (from my father) was the the three remotes for the TV/DVD were difficult to use (but heck, who comes to Steamboat for the TV?).

Perfect snowy birthday trip!
We had an absolute blast on this trip. The house has plenty of towels and other amenities including lots of room for your baggage. Kitchen had everything we needed it would be great to have some more spices and perhaps Olive oil but that's not a huge deal either. The hot tub was perfect after a long day on the mountains and the beds were super comfortable. We ended up renting a car at the last minute as we found out it was about 15 minutes walk to the gondola . Again no big deal but it does beat walking in the storm when you have a rental car. The checkout time was pretty early at 10 AM And I did call to ask for a late checkout at 11 AM but they were unable to accommodate us.. Instead they were really great at having somebody come and pick us up and take us to the property manager's place to wait for our ride to the airport. All in all, it was the best trip ever and I can't wait to come back again soon.

Comfort and Ease
Kitchen well-stocked (even a cake pan to bake a birthday cake). The hot tub felt great on a cold evening. Plenty of space to spread out, and a great neighborhood with trails for walking. Highly recommend!

Lovely house; difficult checkin
Great house in nice location walking distance to gondola area. Our only disappointment was to arrive for checkin 30 minutes before posted closing time to find the offices locked up and empty. After a long car ride, to have additional delays in summoning security for checkin was not at all ideal.

Family getaway
We loved this house for a quick family getaway. It was an easy walk on the walking trail to the base of the mountain where the little kids played in the creek and sandy beaches. We were able to grab take away from The Paramount and relax in the red Adirondack chairs along the creek. Everything we wanted was within walking distance: food, spa, walking, and play areas. When we were at the home we enjoyed cooking family meals, hot tubbing, and enjoying the subsets from the elevated patio area.

Great location, nice place, hot tub overchlorinated
Stayed January 10-14 with a group of friends from Ohio, California, and Montana. The location of this home is great, 2 minutes from the Steamboat Gondola in a quiet neighborhood called Landings. The beds were all comfortable and the radiant floor heating kept the inside warm and toasty. The complimentary shuttle between the house and anywhere in steamboat springs was an AMAZING extra which we took full advantage of.
Our biggest complaint was that on our second night we decided to try out the hot tub and later that evening found our skin starting to peel. Four of the 5 of us developed rashes and what amounted to a chemical burn. We reached out to the resort group and someone was sent to check the water and we were told the chlorine level was "definitely too high" and had it "neutralized". The next day another person with the resort group came by and said that the hot tub needed to be drained and we were not able to use it for the rest of our stay.
If it were not for the bad experience with the hot tub, then we would have been able to rate this place as a 4.
