When we first pulled up we were so excited. We toured the property immediately and found it to be really cool. There is a pond with lots of little frogs, a guest house, a Bochi Ball court, pool table, hot tub and plenty of room for anything you want to do. However within about 5 minutes of being at the property we found a dip spit cup under the queen bed in the guest room. I messaged Vacasa and they did nothing about that. An hour or two later we noticed the WiFi had completely stopped working, which stinks because there is zero cell phone reception where the house is. A little later we found out that there was no running water to the guest house. I was able to get a hold of the local rep for Vacasa by driving into town so I could get cell service. She got there pretty quick and helped us out. There were some other little things that should have been taken care of before we arrived cleanliness wise as well. All in all I would stay here again with a big group like we did. The summer evenings sitting outside under the stars drinking wine was amazing.

I do a trip with friends every year on the same weekend. We were here last year and it was the first time we ever did the same place twice. We all love the house, quit, remote, secluded just perfect for our group. Great place to stay, plenty of room, beds and bathrooms. The outside area has a fantastic hang out spot. Sit outside with a beverage and playing cornhole, etc. Also, the pool table inside is great too.
Only thing is the getting to the house. Sometimes Google or other Maps will take you in the wrong direction or send you out into sticks. Luckily we knew this going into it, but another friend came out after we were there and took an extra hour to get there. So visitors beware of that...but that's not the house' fault.

I booked this home w VRBO, but my communication was deferred to Vacasa. From the start, they were condescending and rigid about request to check-in early. I was told we would be notified btn 12pm-3pm IF early check in was available. My only other email was to inquire as to whether there were spices in stock. I was told "due to sanitary purposes, no spices were available." Not only were there plenty of spices but ironically our biggest complaint was how filthy things were! The area rug was filthy. We ran the vacuum but these were spots imbedded. the floors were sticky and full of debris. The freezer clearly was overlooked too. The gas bque pit was filled with rat poop. My husband worked tirelessly to clean and sanitize that for use. There were 2 onsite and both in the same shape. While there was a bocce court, they were missing the primary balls to play. There was cornhole with no bean bags. No umbrellas or shade was available outside. The weeds had just been cut and there was debris everywhere. When I complained about the substandard cleanliness, i was asked if I wanted them to come back. After a long drive and a 4pm check in, the last thing we wanted to do was leave again so they could finish a job they had 8 hrs to do. Vacasa staff told me how hard their girls work and how they are extremely busy. A sincere apology would have bene preferred. I would not recommend this property unless they spent some time and money to give it the TLC is deserves.

This home was great for our little getaway. It was really hot so all the inside entertainment was perfect. We did enjoy the hot tub the first evening but seems like there was too much cleaning solution in the tub. Would really recommend cleaning and making accessible the pond/pool for future guests. That would have been perfect!! The little casita away from the main house was also great. You have your own privacy. Overall the home was great but would definitely advise in making the pond/pool usable for future guest. Definitely will be renting in the future! Thank you.

Overall we had a nice time. The space in the home was good for what we needed. It was nice to have the extra little house for more sleeping room. The property/home has so much potential but lacking some up keep.

The home was very spacious and the extra cottage added additional comfort to one of the couples. The pictures and video reflect the home accurately. Downtown Murphys just 10 min away. The water ponds not clean - unable to enjoy the feature, but jacuzzi worked fine.

Had a few issues with the water and hot tub but property manager was attentive fixed them right away.

This could have been a great stay, but the lack of cleanliness is what ruined it for us.
I have what I believe to be standard expectations (i.e. I don’t expect perfection), but this home didn’t meet the bare minimum, especially when it came to 1) the bathrooms and 2) the kitchenware.
Bathrooms: It was very clear that the showers weren’t even rinsed down with water, let alone cleaned. For such a high cleaning fee, you’d expect there to be some effort in this area. There was quite a bit of body hair left behind… it was pretty gross. So if the cleaners didn’t even do a water rinse, I can’t imagine they put the effort to use any sort of cleaning products on things like the countertops, toilet seat, etc. We were grossed out by that idea and even left a day early. We booked Friday to Monday but left Sunday morning.
It was especially unfortunate because I brought my crawling baby, and I couldn’t trust that she was touching a recently cleaned floor. Again, I didn’t expect it to be so clean you could eat off of it, but my basic expectation was that perhaps it was mopped before our arrival. I couldn’t trust that it was.
Kitchen: Again, a lack of basic cleanliness. The fridge/freezer hadn’t been wiped down. We pulled mugs from the cabinet that were not clean. I’m not talking about a single little missed drop but like half a mug being covered in dried coffee. This meant we had to rewash kitchen items before using them. Having to do extra dishes on vacation - not great.

What a fantastic home privately nestled against an old quarry that had everything we could've asked for. The house was spacious, was stocked with myriad games, has plenty of sleeping accommodations and the little separate cottage is an absolute gem. The grounds are beautiful. The local management staff was extremely responsive and provided first class customer service. We loved our stay and will definitely be coming back.

The layout of the house was great for us. Sadly, this property needs some loving attention. There were many things neglected or broken. Clearly the cleaning crew does a great job, but the owners or managers have not checked to make sure all operates well.

Took an annual trip with some friends and this place was fantastic. Quite, private, clean and plenty of great amenities.
I was a little worried after reading some of the reviews about the property condition, but we had zero issues with the property. Clean and kept up nicely. Yes, the driveway is a little rough but its a house basically in the mountains on a dirt/gravel road. Kind of to be expected in my opinion.
Would definitely stay here again.

We had an enjoyable stay, the inside was relatively clean, the outside could use some love. I can understand how the property can get pretty worn given its location, but it could be an amazing stay if it received some investment and regular upkeep.
Side note, don’t use the trash compactor unless they provide the appropriate bags. It isn’t a fun clean up.

This place was in an awesome location and had great amenities but it needed a lot of upkeep. The ponds that were there were basically mosquito breeders. The driveway was treacherous totally needs to be graded. The weeds around the property were waist high. It took me one hour to weed the bocce ball court and get it in shape so we could play. If they could keep this place up to snuff, it would be a five star resort. Saying all that if we come back to Murphys, we would love to stay there again with our family, but they need to keep the place in shape.

This house was great for my family of 12 (6 adults & 6 Grandkids). The kids had a lot of room to run around and play. There was lots to do Bocci Ball, ping pong, pool & corn hole (we brought ours). There is a seperate one bedroom, one bathroom cottage. When we had a problem with the lock to get in the support staff was quick to answer and help out. The tile floors were not cleaned, but that was the only issue. The best part was we didn't have to leave to have lots to do for the kids. We would be happy to visit this property again.

The house was a very good option for a family get together with a kitchen and dining area that suited the needs for our shared meals. The guest house was a very good option for my daughter’s young family. However, the yard was in very poor condition. Lots of weeds, overgrown paths and 2 deteriorated ponds. The yard has lots of potential but someone has decided not to maintain it. We were very disappointed with the yard because it was a very big reason we selected this house.

We all agreed this home was once probably a beautiful place but it is very clear that it has been neglected. The yard was extremely overgrown foxtails everywhere, the water feature is a stagnant pond full of algae, the hot tub took over 72 hrs to get just up to 96 degrees so we weren’t even able to use it during our visit. Multiple glasses cracked, a knob on the stove broken, pet stain on the area rug, couch covers in need of replacement or deep cleaning multiple stains , road in severely washed out you can only get an suv down there . Saving grace the beds were comfy and there were plenty of clean white towels. Unfortunately, I would not recommend anyone stay here until there’s some major work on the home.

We had a great stay with all 10 of our family members there. The property is huge and the dogs were in heaven. The houses were nice - only issues were the security gate stopped working on the 2nd day and the trash cans were all still full when we arrived so we had nowhere to put garbage. We had some ants and several cabinet doors were off the hinges. When I contacted the property manager they just told us the same info we were given before arrival. We know the code. It was not working. I know garbage pickup is Fridays. It was not picked up!
We still had a great trip and made lots of memories.

Our family really enjoyed our stay at this property. You get a kind of ranch style home but also cabin feel with the log beams and wood ceilings. Very beautiful. Very functional kitchen that included two ovens and two fridges! (One in the garage). Kitchen was well stocked and bathrooms were well stocked with plenty of towels. Plenty of amenities to keep your family entertained. Everything from pool, ping pong, bocce ball, a hot tub, and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. A very tranquil pond in the backyard really made our mornings nice for enjoying our coffee in the yard. The property alone was just nice to walk around. Downtown Murphy's was a 10 minute drive and if you love wine tasting, this is the perfect location. Also, a beautiful park downtown with a river right next to it. Arnold was a 10 minute drive in the opposite direction where we enjoyed playing in the snow at the state park. Super markets were both 10 mins away. One in downtown Murphy's and one in Arnold. The studio at the property was perfect if you are vacationing with a second family or another couple. We didn't use the outdoor kitchen outside the studio but if we stayed during the summer, we most likely would of. Fireplace was very nice. Plenty of parking space. They also had sleds in the garage which we use to go sledding at the state park in Arnold. A cute bakery at the bottom of the hill. We bought multiple pies and pastries from there throughout our stay. We will definitely return maybe for a summer vacation. Loved our stay and everything it had to offer for a nice relaxing trip.

Looks just like pictures, outdoor cornhole was missing bags, but very nice place with lots of room and fun options like ping pong and pool table…. could have been a bit cleaner. Love that they allow dogs, detached cabin is very cute and space efficient.

We stayed in December. We got a little snow which was great. The home was cozy but could benefit by some additional decor. Unfortunately we were unable to access the smaller structure/cabin due to it being locked with an unprovided key until the middle of our stay. We made due in the main structure which worked out nicely. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect location for a family trip. Spacious, beautiful private outdoor spaces, games (bocce, pool table, ping pong). Nice big kitchen and two fridges - great for a group. Comfortable and just as pictured! We’d happily return.
