Uitstekend!

Het personeel was zeer vriendelijk. Het ontbijt was super lekker en vers klaargemaakt. Hotel is vlak aan het strand en je hebt de mogelijkheid om naar een privé strand te gaan mits een bijdrage.

Nice place but needs some work done

What we liked the most was the well kept garden and nice chilling area with hammocks, board games and a ping pong table(that was a great bonus) Swimming pool was clean and big enough. The breakfasts were great and huuge! It really was a lot of food so we always saved some for a later snack. The staff were friendly.

The apartments require a lot of maintanence, not just us but other guests also struggled with same issues. For example the air condition was leaking a lot (small leakage is normal, but it was leaking to the extend that we had to move the carpet and our luggage) Toilet seat was broken. Wifi was very weak and was constantly cutting off. But the worst thing was that the beddings and towels had an awful smell and didn't feel clean. Which should not happen when the nightly rate is over 100$. If the management works on the maintanence and laundry detergent, this place will be really nice and comfortable.

Wonderful staff and management, peaceful setting. Almost perfect

Emmanuel and his staff are simply amazing. They were extremely accommodating, friendly and did everything to make our stay enjoyable. The rooms as well as the premises were clean. Breakfast was tasty with enough variety, although way too much for our family. The lounge area with hammocks and couches is peaceful.

For me, the bed was way too hard. I like my bed with a little more cushion. This was way too hard for my wife and my back. Our kids didn't seem to mind, however. I would have liked some evening entertainment around the poolside for those who don't want to venture out to find entertainment

Awesome atmosphere and hospitality

We will give the staff 12 out of 10 if possible💝- so friendly especially Emmanuel and Esther. Very clean and Well maintained. 2 min walk to nice beach and good restaurants

It would be great with a restaurant onsite and sunchairs on the beach - but they are already working on that👌☺️

Lovely quiet villa with an amazing pool

We absolutely loved our stay at Kuwa. The rooms were a perfect size for 4 people - didn’t feel cramped at all and we enjoyed the expansive balcony space. We felt very secure on the property and in the area as four female travellers. It is hard to say what was the best part about our stay as both the breakfast and the pool / surrounding lounge area were brilliant. Breakfast was the best we have found in Zanzibar so far with extensive options which changed each day we were there. The pool was gorgeous and we usually had it to ourselves. We really appreciated the thorough daily room clean after sandy days at the beach. Also thank you to the super friendly and thoughtful staff - you made our trip special.

Beautiful resort, amazing team and a good location.

The breakfast was fabulous, a platter of fresh fruits, a fruit juice, choice of swahili tea or coffee, eggs cooked to your choice and Esther every day brought out something different, (samosas were amazing) as well as doughnuts style bread (one plain one with sugar). We had a junior suite which was a great size and very modern, bright and clean. Esther and Naima cleaned daily. Little touches such as towels for the pool were available to use. The pool area was gorgeous with plenty of seating and a TV to put music or whatever on when sitting by the pool. Loved the sofa leading into the pool too. Emmanuel was very informative with information and the whole team were generally just so lovely and welcoming

Very good

The apartment was spacious and well equipped. There was cleaning every day and they also provided beach towels. The common areas are nicely decorated and it was really nice to just lounge around the pool.

The bathroom was not very modern - the door did not close properly, there was smell coming out of the drain, shower was a bit rusty with slow water flow and the sink was not well mounted. Also the kitchen was a bit old fashioned with a very rusty fridge and a little scary gas stove.

A gem in Kiwengwa!

We really enjoyed our stay at Kuwa Zanzibar. The highlight for us was definitely the pool area and the breakfast! Emmanuel and Esther were very welcoming, friendly and supportive.

A perfect place for me, an intimate and quiet place. The accommodation feels like being with friends in a villa and not like a hotel. Breakfast is recommended with fresh foods and local pastries. The staff were great and helped with every request. Thank you, we will definitely be back.

Wonderful

Loved everything about it! Ester was FABULOUS along with all of the staff. Great breakfast and really went above and beyond to help us get to know the area and facilities available. Short walk to the beach useful for sunrise swims and a fabulous beach with great bars and restaurants 10/10 experience 😀😀

amazing staff, Emmanuel was so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Great location, few minutes walk from the beach. The highlight what to be the breakfast, it was like a banquet! so much choice!

Wonderful place with a family and cosy atmosphere

We really appreciated the atmosphere of the place ! beautiful set up, wonderful decorations, pleasant pool. Good localisation as well. The staff was amazing especially Emmanuel, Esta and the whole crew, very helpful, understanding, sociable, if we had the chance, we would have stayed longer.

No air condition, the fan is just above the bed. No intimacy in the room downstairs, it’s better for couples only (no door between the bedroom and the shower). No paper toilet and no towels but the problem was easily resolved.

Perfect stay!

The pool and garden was superb. Close to the beach. The breakfast was the best on the Island, so far. The staff was helpful and Serviceminded.

Very good

Super friendly staff, the also arranged a shuttle for me and my sister from the ferry. The room was really nice and clean. And we really enjoyed our breakfast!

The wifi wasn’t always working, but than again there were enough places close by. Me and my sister would’ve liked it if the facility would’ve proposed tradition/African food as well, instead of European food in the area.
