Gorgeous property, well worth the money to rent it for a lovey family get together

Beautiful property tastefully furnished and decorated in lovey location

Neighbours are a little nosey but not invasive - respectful rules need to be followed like not walking at the grass - but did feel a little ‘watched’

Extremely comfortable, wonderful location & beautiful period features inside & out

Definitely a home away from home. Perfect place for visiting friends on both sides of the water. Close to train station. Cottage was really well equipped. Very calm space. Wonderful shower!

Curtains in rear bedroom lovely to look at but offer very little coverage so we had some early rising kids on the first couple of mornings!

Beautiful lodging in an exceptional and historic location. Owner was very easy to communicate with and everything was as listed. Just 3 minutes walk to Mersey Rail stop with easy access anywhere.

Sinply a dream!

It was a listed property in an idyllic location. Being able to rent such a place was just a real dream. The period features were well preserved but the kitchen was fully equipped. There was even a washing machine and a dryer in the outhouse.

The location was near the very convenient Mersey rail which was great for getting around the area without having to use the car

A bit more information regarding pubic transport, what to see in the area. Also information regarding such things as how to overide the heating use the microwave etc

Brilliant

The location was fantastic. Easy access from portsunlight station to Liverpool. Port sunlight is also a beautiful place.

Only 1 bathroom made mornings for a big family a bit slow but nothing we couldn’t handle.

Property was lovely and clean and very comfortable. Just lacked a few essential items.

After driving from Scotland we were looking forward to a nice cuppa, however there was no coffee or milk in the property. Neither was there washing up liquid or hand soap. This is something that we usually expect to find when staying in other places, so obviously this was disappointing particularly when paying £150 per night. I have also just noticed from previous reviews that other guests have also had this issue which has obviously not been rectified. Shame, as little things like this really make the difference between a good stay and a great stay.

Highly recommend this lovely cottage. Much prettier than photos can show

Really comfortable within easy walking distance of the train. Great base for easy access to Liverpool, Chester and Wirral. Port Sunlight itself is also very pretty and well worth a good look around.

We were obviously really stupid and couldn’t work out how to use the TV. Instructions are provided! I have no doubt Stan would have come round and showed us, but we decided it would do us no harm to be without for a short period.

Everything . The location - The history - The walks - The train station is a two minute walk away, where you get a15minute ride into Liverpool city centre .

relaxing experience after a 300mile journey could,nt ask for more, ( maybe coffee mate or milk) :-)

The cottage, location, decor, closeness to shops, train station etc, had a wonderful 2 days wished we could have stayed longer but booked solid and can understand why, :-) will book again without doubt. keep up the good work stan and thank you,

Stan was really helpful, very quick to respond. We needed extra bed linen for the sofa bed and he brought it round immediately. Great house! Beautiful interior. We loved it!
