Perfect for a younger crowd, or families. Not great for people walking the Camino like me.

Very modern and clean. Beautiful decor in the common space.

There were so many young kids, a big holiday group, and lots of families. So too noisy for me - perfect for them. The room was hot with all the bunks and just a small window. The showers just have glass so not much privacy. Nowhere to wash clothes or dry them.

Tolle Pilgerherberge mit Privat- und Gruppenzimmern

Das Hostel hat ein Mega Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis! Die Zimmer sind sauber, die Duschen sind warm und das Frühstück war sehr vielfältig! Die Mitarbeitenden sind sehr freundlich und konnten Englisch sprechen. Besonders gut gefallen hat mir die Architektur des Gebäudes - speziell die Mischung aus historischen Altbau, mit hohen Decken und großen Fenstern und dem modernen Anbau mit Fahrstuhl und den Gemeinschaftsbädern! Das alles für 22 Euro die Nacht…

Ich hab in einem Gemeinschafts-Zimmer übernachtet und leider keine guten Erfahrungen mit meinem Mitbewohner gemacht… er kam während der Nacht nach Hause, schalte das Licht an und telefonierte während ich schlief - oder es versuchte - mit seiner Partnerin…da ich kein Portugiesisch spreche und er kein Englisch, war keine wirkliche Kommunikation möglich… Am Ende stellte sich raus, dass es sich bei ihm nicht um einen Pilger handelte, sondern um einen Arbeiter, der eine günstige Bleibe für sich suchte…

Beautifully converted monastery and tranquil environment

Very friendly welcome. Gorgeous bedroom and comfy beds. Good breakfast.

We understood the need to be eco-friendly, however the shower and sink water were on a very short timer and were permanently cold. This was fine after a 20 mile walk with packs, but a bit too bracing the next day! The city was packed with visitors (I believe for a festival) so we didn't get a table to eat dinner till almost 10pm and were ravenous!

Não foi das piores experiências numa pousada da juventude mas…

A localização, que permite a poucos minutos a pé chegar às praias ou ao centro da cidade, o edifício e o aproveitamento do mesmo, a disponibilidade de estacionamento nas redondezas pelo menos nesta altura do ano, a proximidade a alguma restauração

A falta de cuidado com os quartos (armários com dobradiças partidas, só um candeeiro de cabeceira), o chuveiro deita água fria durante bastante tempo até vir a quente e o poliban não tem tamanho para nos desviarmos dela - situação nada agradável principalmente à noite, o pequeno-almoço é muito básico comparado com outras pousadas da juventude onde pelo menos tem mais que um tipo de pão para quem não come pão branco (tinham na parede aviso que se podia pedir pão sem glúten etc mas isso não é alternativa para algumas pessoas), ficamos no RC e a janela ficou aberta após a limpeza por onde alguém poderia entrar - por sorte fomos cedo ao quarto senão não se aguentava com o frio e poderia ter desaparecido alguma mala.

조식이 맛있고 알찹니다. 시설 괜찮고 위치도 나쁘지 않습니다. 직원 친절하고 가격대비 좋아요.

1층 패밀리룸은 엄청 습하고 추워요. 뜨거운 물주머니를 챙겨갔었는데 없었으면 힘들었을듯 하고 습해서 다음날 아침 옷걸이에 걸어둔 옷이 축축한 느낌이 들었습니다. 새벽에 눈을 떴는데 베드버그 한마리 출몰해서 잠 다깨고 그대로 짐싸서 의자에 앉아있다가 조식 먹으러 갔네요. 베드버그는 어쩌다 굶주린 한마리가 나온것 같고 시설에서는 관리한듯 하지만 어쩔수 없는 부분이 있으니 이해하는데 좀 피곤했네요. 베드버그 한마리의 충격ᆢ

Incredibile!!!

Everything!!! It's very unusual for me leave 10 stars but this hostel really really deserve it! Super clean, super comfortable, great position, staff super nice, great breakfast, very good deal about the price.... I'm definitely gonna stay again here next time ☺️👏

It's a brand new activity so just still miss some small details (soap,hair dryers,..)

Top für Pilger mit sehr gutem Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis.

Tolles Zimmer, sehr sauber und ruhig gelegen. Nur ein Hund hat am Abend länger gekläfft. Einige Pilger auch dort und nette Gespräche beim Frühstücken gehabt.

Stylisch, gemütlich und strandnah

Ich war sehr begeistert von der Unterkunft. Obwohl es "nur" eine Jugendherberge war, habe ich mich gefühlt, wie in einem Designer Hotel. Die Gemeinschaftsräume sind wunderschön eingerichtet und der Strand ist nur fünf Minuten zu Fuß entfernt.

Bra albergue med god frukost

Fint vandrarhem med bra läge. Vi var 8 kvinnor i rummet. Frottehanduk och frukost ingick, jättebra. Fanns torkställning att hänga kläder utomhus.

Blev lite trångt i toan/ duschen när vi skulle duscha.

Beautiful building and location.

The building itself is beautiful. Fantastic common areas that were very cool and a large dining area. We left before breakfast, but were provided with a take away breakfast, which was lovely. The dorm room was an average size, not a lot of room. The bed was comfortable. A privacy curtain would have been nice.

It was an extremely hot day and night when we stayed. About 35°C during the day and still very warm at night. As soon as we walked into the dormitory, it was like walking into a sauna; almost unbearable. The other girls in the dormitory had the door closed. Every time I left it opened, someone closed it again. I went to the front desk and spoke to the young man and said we couldn't open the window and was there anything we could do as it was so hot. He just said there is no air conditioning. Not much sleep that night! In the morning I mentioned it to the other man on the front desk when leaving and he said we should have asked someone to try and help us open the window. But we had mentioned it, so I'm not sure what else we could have done. It was a shame as it did spoil our night there.

Muy bien ubicado y buena relación calidad -precio.

Nos encanta la ubicación del lugar, y la mayoría de sus instalaciones son cómodas y acogedoras. Dispone de 2 salas de estar/lectura. También su relación calidad precio y sobre todo la distancia a la playa que es de 5 minutos caminando. Dispone de dos tendederos portátiles y se puede lavar la ropa a mano. También tiene una pequeña terraza en el exterior.

Estábamos alojados en una habitación de 4 personas en la que no había ni un triste armario, ni una percha, así que, para alojarte una semana es un poco agobiante. De las 4 camas, una de ellas era supletoria casi a la altura del suelo. Por la noche está excesivamente iluminado y no hay opción de quitar las luces que rodean a la pousada o las luces de los pasillos, de modo que al apagar la luz y querer dormir es realmente difícil, porque entra iluminación por todas partes. Encima de una de las camas están todos los interruptores de la luz, de modo que accidentalmente con la cabeza se accionan y se encienden las luces y es incómodo. Una sola tarjeta por habitación, de modo que si se alojan varias personas sólo una de ellas dispone de llave para entrar ( tarjeta). En el lugar hay una humedad muy extraña y un olor raro, la ropa no seca y amanece con más humedad que el día anterior. En ocasiones hace frío y ya no disponen de los plumones que había en las camas , mientras que dos meses antes, en verano sí los tenían.

Lovely hostel on Camino - mostly catering to younger crowd.

Beautifully renovated old building on Camino. Close to cafes, supermarkets and laundry.

Very strict on not allowing you in before 4 pm. No bedlamps either side of bed, no power outlets next to bed. No closets or any place to place or hang clothes. No soap in bathroom despite us staying in the private room with private bathroom and paying hotel rates. When asking about this we were told that hostels don’t have soap. (The person at reception did eventually provide us with a container of soap from the staff bathroom.)

- Check in time was very late (6pm), so we had to wait for several hours after arriving and also did not have enough time for laundry to dry

Ideal for a stop for the night

It was convenient. Breakfast was lovely. Facilities were as expected. Common room was lovely.

Room was a bit damp/ lacking air circulation for 8 people. Not enough plug sockets. Bathroom was locked when I got up in the Middle of the night.

Good but something was missing this year.

I always have good words for this place. The locations are extraordinary and the beach is so near that you can go anytime to have a walk by the sea.

This year I didn't feel welcome. The experience last year was so positive that I felt lack of many aspects that, after doing some research with members of the staff, were provided by one single employee by her own initiative and who unfortunately was not preset this year during my stay. This was a woman who I can't remember her name, she was the first good morning from the hostel staff. she was always dynamic doing all her chores, and when you entered the dining room for breakfast, she received you with a wide smile saying,: Bom día, deseja Pāo? Good morning, would you like some bread? I felt the lack of this employee this year. The staff is very good and do their chores properly, but this girl missing this year made a great difference in my experience last year, and what a customer comments here obeys directly to his personal experience.

Oh it was more that I could expected! Like a hostel in palace! Super clean, well equipped kitchen, amazing common area. Seriously I couldn't ask for more

Excellent location, near downtown, near the beach. Beautiful and clean building, lovely breakfast. Staff were really friendly and helpful.

Only thing I found frustrating was that there were no plugs next to the bunk beds, like in other hostels. Charging my devices was always a thing to worry about because the plugs in the room were used my someone else, or you have to sit in the lounge and find a plug there and wait there while your devices are charging. Other than worrying about batteries dying, this hostel was great.

breakfast was a bit later than I would have liked. I needed to get on the Camino trail early so having breakfast there was not possible.

Very nice facility and close to the Camino

The location was good in that it was not far off the Camino. The facility is really very pretty and well organized. The staff was able to recommend a good restaurant not too far. The breakfast was adequate.

The breakfast could have included some eggs or other protein.
