Due to its proximity to the very fast main road it was not dog friendly (no fencing or gate to stop a dog running out). Cramped room, no ventilation on one of the hottest days of the year… could not have the door open because of the dog/road noise. Nowhere’s to hang towels , not even a hook in the bathroom. No privacy…. Other guests parking their cars could look straight into the room.

The staff member from the pub who met us was warm and welcoming. They even accommodated a slightly earlier check-in so that we could get to the Church on time for a wedding. The accommodation is like a standalone hotel room - it's stylish but not overbearing, with a great shower and mini kitchenette. The bar staff even kindly gave us a small jug of milk for the fridge so we could have a tea in the morning!
Possibly on the more expensive end and could have been a little less, but we were pleased with the convenience of location to attend a wedding nearby and the handy car park was a plus. The staff were really friendly and the accommodation is smart and cosy.

All good except the hot water was not switched on so my husband had 2 cold showers . Once we alerted your great staff it was switched on and 20 mins later we had hot water . The Tv ( huge that it was ) we could not get to work ! Your pub is great and staff are exceptional.
As above .and I like a top sheet as I get hot at night.
The bathroom light switch did not work so it was left on all night with the door closed .

Self catering apartment, ideal for short stay
Dishwasher needed attention - no detergent nor rinse aid

We liked the cottage, a very convenient place to stay. We enjoyed our two nights.
There was no milk, tea, or coffee left .
Though the pub was next door, for us to buy a drink.
No information about the place or local area.
Very little cleaning products. Only fairy liquid .Not even a dishcloth, or towel.
We would still come again , but would now know to bring cleaning products.

Cute premises and lovely staff.
Damp and mouldy smell in cottage with no air flow and the hot water at night was luke warm

perfect location for our Badminton weekend, situated next to a pub and the food there is amazing!

The bedrooms are stunning with huge TVs, great showers and very good size beds.
LED lighting in second bedroom is fab!
Kitchen equipment is poor - no oven gloves, knives, chopping boards etc etc...
No instruction book or manual for TVs, heating system, oven or any general info.
No check-in info - I had to call the owner on the day.

Very comfortable bed and room. The restaurant food was good with very friendly staff.
The stables had a small kitchenette with a sink, but the tap didn’t work, not really an issue, but then we couldn’t get the Main shower to work on the morning we left. The door to the en suite made a terrible creaking noise so we decided to leave it open all night, rather than keep opening it during the night, as we didn’t want to disturb the people upstairs. However, movement in the room switched on the automatic light at intervals throughout the night. We didn’t mention any of this when leaving as it was only for one night.

The location was perfect for what I needed. The receptionist was lovely. The place was spotlessly clean and well appointed.
The room was quite cold which meant that towels did not dry at all. There was tiny fan heater, but it was the wet towels I did not like. I am glad I was alone because I had no choice but to use both bath towels - it was cold weather (autumn).
There is a real need for some book or sheets of paper giving instructions. I had problems with the lock and had to wait quite a time before someone helped me and as I was short of time this was really inconvenient. They very kindly allowed me to use an adjacent apartment to shower but I had to carry my case and clothes there - it wasn't far, but it was a nuisance. I also had issues using the coffee machine. I managed to get something out of it on the second morning I was there but because the mugs don't fit under the machine I was juggling with a glass and had a cool weak cup of coffee. Cool weak coffee in a cold room with a cold wet towel - not my idea of comfort! I also struggled with the shower - which tap does what and how do you avoid getting your hair wet before going out on a cold day? It was an enormous overhead shower which does not suit women with long hair and no shower cap, and getting the other spray head working was interesting! A book of instructions may have solved some of the issues. And a better mode of heating the room would have been nice. Also - there was no soap or handwash provided! I had to use the tiny bottle of shower gel to wash my hands. Thank goodness I took my own shower gel! So, my advice on current performance would be to take extra towels, a bath hat, your own method of making coffee, and soap! Otherwise, the place was lovely.

The accommodation is right next to a lovely pub, with a nice forest & walking trails opposite. The food & staff at the pub next door were lovely, and the check in/check out was easy.
The place wasn't very clean - there were multiple hairs in the shower, grit & dirt all over the leather sofa and the leaves/twigs/dirt on the floor. There was also a fan heater that we ended up briefly using in the evening which was caked in mould and dust. We were very reluctant to use it because of this, but it was too chilly not to unfortunately! Some of the utensils/pots in the kitchen were also dirty. I'd also messaged the property 3 times prior to our arrival, but nobody ever got back to me. We didn't know that there would be people staying above us either, and unfortunately that was extremely noisy with the creaking floors, flushing toilets, slamming doors etc. It's also right on the main road, so this is noisy too and make the outside seating area quite unappealing.

The hosts were friendly and helpful and the evening meal was delicious.
The bed felt damp and there was no ventilation in the room.

courtyard described as being private.....it is open to the main road so NOT private at all.
No window so the apartment is unbearably hot , and the back door cannot be left open for security reasons...ie ground floor and open to passers by on the road/ footpath

Lovely room and en-suite, massive tv. Was really warm when we stayed, so appreciated the fan that was in this room.

The location to the public house next door was very useful and food was good.
The cleanliness of the accommodation wasn't great and a bit tired in need of a spruce up.

very clean, well equipped, we could bring our dog, absolutely huge Tv, we loved everything, great value for money & peaceful location
we have no complaints

the owner and his son were very helpful. When I told them about the soundproofing issue, they acted immediately and put me in another flat.
the soundproofing is VERY poor, meaning I could hear every word+TV from the people next door.

clean, easy access, good staff, spacious
