We love everything about the lodge, we come down every so often. Started a couple of years ago for our anniversary.

The last time we came, it was for one night. Everything was fine. I noticed bathroom wasn’t cleaned properly with someone’s else toothpaste on the bathroom window, hair in the shower not ours!! We woke up the next morning the find BLOOD in our bed right at the bottom of sheets (where your feet would sit) so couldn’t tell until the next morning, both my partner and myself checked ourself, it wasn’t our which made us feel very sick. This has been the only down fall with the lodge which was a big disappoint. I wish I toke photos to show the owner but didn’t think at the time.

Easy booking, friendly communication and ideal location. Will definitely stay again.

From booking onward the communication was clear... the room was clean and set out well. bathroom was spacious and had good lighting. It was very quiet. Parking was easily accessible to the room.

Excellent location

Location, and lady named Anna was wonderful to speak to.

Kettle does not have long enough cord to go all the way down to plug in.I needed to bent, which was hard for me, to plug it in. But it's not a big issue if it's only a day or two

If you are heavy sleepers, this 3 bedroom accommodation is great for you

Great location, reasonable price

Our 3 bedroom , one is near hot water tank, very noisy , one is under restaurant,around 5am. Staff started preparing breakfast, woke up by them. Please Warn guests before their booking

NIce place but quite pricey for standard facilities if one doesn't need to stay in Bateman's Bay.

Nice location. Nice breakfast facility (but no breakfast option). Large, comfortable room.

Absolutely disappointed and feel like I threw away $460 which is not easy to come by these days.

Location was close to Main Street and the staff were nice

I have stayed in some lovely places for the price of this place, even less. This apartment seemed to be an afterthought to the hotel and was poorly constructed and just dirty. There was actually half a cold stale meat pie in the cupboard of one of the rooms! I couldn’t hang wet towels or clothes anywhere, mould on bathroom roof and the fan in there was revolting. There were mice above the bedroom near the kitchen that were soooooo loud from about 4am onwards then at around 6 or 7 when the cafe staff started work, instead of taking boxes down the stairs they threw them from the top to the bottom. And I’m not talking one or two…..it was maybe 10!! And onto metal stairs it was so loud. I didn’t realise what was making the noise until I finally just got out of bed and opened the curtain to see the pull of boxes and one being thrown on top from the top of the stairs. I didn’t want to get angry and ruin it for my kids, who loved the pool.

You get what you pay for.

Good Location, close to town. The apartment was clean and provided all the basics required for a short stay.

Located underneath the Cafe, the noise, loud music, and banging from 5 am was very disturbing. Cafe staff throwing cardboard down the stairs adjacent to the bedrooms was a wonderful sound also at that hour of the morning. Garbage dumpsters were also close by and collected very early in the morning. Think the description of soundproof walls may be exaggerated! The rooms were very hot as no fans or A/C were in any bedrooms. We stayed on a hot summer night and the small A/C in the central living room could not cool the entire apartment adequately. Ceiling or even pedestal fans would be a bonus. The shower screen in the bathroom was broken and water leaked out between the gaps. For the price you expect some concessions but definitely, Cafe staff should be more considerate and the 3-bed apartment description should state it's located underneath so guests can be fully informed when booking.

Lovely welcome. Hotel remodelled and under new ownership. Look forward to the bar opening.

Gap in the top of the bathroom window with no flyscreen. Lets moisture out, but also lets mosquitos in.

Great cafe upstairs. Spacious

Beds were cold. Under lounge was filthy. Toilet holder was broken. Shower difficult to get in and out of. We stayed 2 nights rooms werent made up no fresh tea coffee or cups
