This property was very clean with amazing bed and sheets. Great breakfast choices with local food and well equipped kitchen.
A bit hilly so I wasn’t sure if my car will make it to the parking lot ( driving small rental car) but it was ok after all.

Really good location, close to lots of trails and a nice beach to see the sunset. Local breakfast pastries were amazing!

The facility was very nice and extremely comfortable. Breakfast delicious and kitchen exceptionally stacked, also very clean.
The location a bit remote but right next to the State park and hiking in the woods was refreshing, relaxing and memorable. Micheal the owner was extremely helpful in every situation. (even when it came to a flat tire)
We will recommend this place anytime!

Loved the spa facilities (steam room, sauna, etc), the amount of time you could happily spend on site is great. Breakfast was delicious and loved that it was all locally sourced!
We’ve got no complaints! Depending what you want to do on the island you may want to stay somewhere else but it was perfect for travelling to and from Vesuvius and darting into town.

Five Elements Lodge has a very peaceful feeling easy feeling about it. This includes interactions with the co-owner Michael, the layout of the lodge and the unpretentious attention to details.

The location was very nice - remote and quiet, but reasonably close to other activities on the island. A nice continental breakfast was provided.

An absolutely stunning location! We were blown away by the resort area. The spa setting was incredible, our breakfast balcony was magical. The local cats, raccoons, hummingbirds, and so on made for lovely fellow visitors. The walks through the property and to Sunset Beach were wonderful, easy strolls, as promised.
We didn't realize from the listing on Booking that the suites were so connected - just a door between ours and the upstairs, which only seemed to lock from their side - which became very disconcerting when the neighbours did some very loud fighting upstairs for most of our first night...

A superb lodge, stress-free location in the forest. We had two bedrooms and a living room. All rooms are with little touches that make your stay relaxing and comfortable, very clean and comfortable. Michael is very welcoming host!

Michael was a lovely host, we arrived late at night and he had the sauna and steam room all heated up for us. The place is very quiet and serene!

Miminal
room was very hot and the only way to cool down was to open the door to the outside. Motion sensor light keep going off on on all night

The spa; sauna, steam room, bath and yoga studio are exceptional. The trails are serene and the camp fire a great ending to our evenings.
The rooms are basic but comfortable. The shared kitchen has everything you need.
The rooms aren't soundproofed, you can hear footsteps and guests' voices but it's quiet by 10 pm.

I liked the quiet location and trails/ beach nearby. We also liked the in floor heating and the thorough briefing with the friendly host, Michael when we checked in.
We did not like the strong detergent smell in the room. the bedding, towels and just walking into the room had an overpowering scent of chemical detergent. I’m sensitive to smells so I appreciate unscented or pure essential oils instead of chemically scented detergent. My fiancé is not sensitive to scents, but even he found the detergent smell way too strong in the room. We especially found it unfitting to have off-putting chemical scents in the room when this property is advertised as a wellness spa.

Fantastic place for a retreat: remote, quiet and very comfortable.
We liked pretty much everything; perhaps, it should be explained better in the advertising that a continental breakfast is provided - we brought some food that we would not need :)

Quaint place, non intrusive service, breakfast scones in the morning were delicious, all you can ask for sauna, steam, hot tub, yoga or meditation room
