Excellent facilities, but was it necessary to have the music going till that hour?

The staff and rooms were great. As a bonus, the was a huge shared kitchen area we had the use of as well as dining facilities, which was a real unexpected bonus. However, was ruined the experience or us was the fact that there was loud music being played downstairs until 1:30am, therefore we got no sleep. In fact, at one point, we decided to join in singing with the songs being played as our rooms were literally 'jumping' in time to the bass! It was a real shame because the staff were friendly and relaxed and the facilities available were outstanding and exceeded our expectations, especially the use of kitchen and eating facilities in the morning. The rooms were spotlessly clean and the beds comfortable.

Music being played downstairs until 1:30am. No sleep was got that night and we had to abandon our plans for the next day due to being so tired!

Nice kitchen facilities. We had a good time in the pub downstairs.

The water pressure drops when a lot of people take showers simultaneously. Showering in the morning wasn't a success, but in the afternoon it was fine.

Exceptional

Excellent facilities. Lovely big kitchen, dining room. Beds were extremely comfortable. Really cheap compared to what a hotel would cost . Perfect location, only 20 mins from castlebar . Fabulous, clean, well run and will definitely stay again if I'm up that direction again.

A return journey is a must

The staff are very friendly, chatty, engaging, and very helpful. We loved our time in the village inn. The locals were quite friendly also. An all round warm and welcoming atmosphere in a lovely traditional style pub. No delay with service and facilities are immaculate. We will be back!

The stay was what I expected.

The stay was room only. Breakfast was not available at this property but a kitchen was available to to make your own Breakfast.

Very comfortable bedroom and spotless.

The kitchen facilities were excellent. We brought sandwich-making ingredients with us and had a lovely breakfast. There is also a clothes washing machine and dryer which is very handy for travellers.

Johnny the chap behind the bar was excellent, great place to stay staff excellent also if your there on a Saturday night there is live music.

Nowhere close by for a meal.

No loo

It was a very nice to stay spotless clean and very near castlebar

No complaint about the B&B.only thing was a party went on till 4.30 in the morning I know the bar closed eirler than that but some people stayed outside laughing and shouting .that was fine as I am a light sleeper but they came up to there rooms laughing and shouting banging doors so I said great I might get to sleep now So. I decided I had to go to the toilet before I settled down when I went to the first toilet there was a girl in a drunken sleep on the toilet floor So I went to the other toilet near the kitchen and there was another naked drunk lady asleep with her. Head on the toilet .so it was not bad enough trying to sleep with noise I also had to sleep with a full bladder I settled in to bed around 5.30 when what sounded like an over flow pipe pouring down on the mettle fire escape it went on for hours Other than that it was good

Superb

We stayed on the 3rd of September 10 adults 8 kids rooms were very clean and beds extremely comfortable, kitchen was very spacious, fridge had a few bits in it but we did buy are own things from the shop for breakfast! Nice wee dining area for any1 who didnt want to eat in the kitchen.. Shop closed at 6 so town is less than 10 minutes drive over the road kids enjoyed there stay running around there was a 60th birthday party with a band down stairs and kids had no problem going to sleep! We had everything we needed great stay, we will be back .
