La posizione, il personale e la pulizia
Il menù non cambia tutti i giorni, la Spa non utilizzabile, prenotata per le 19 e alle 18,55 scendo a ritirare gli asciugamani e mi dicono che si è rotto l'impianto.....delusione totale

Fantastic location, falling asleep to the sound of crashing waves. Nice room with a huge terrace. Reception staff very very nice. Good spa facilities, nice massage. El Hierro wines served in the restaurant.
Somewhat limited stock in the bar. No cocktails, no rose wine for a pre dinner drink.

Excellent hotel, really quiet and nice facilities, pretty large swimming pool, rooms with an awesome view over the mountains or over the ocean.
It's also worth mentioning the good breakfast and simply excellent dinner, really well priced and simply delicious.
They also have a good variety of locally produced wine, which is really good as well.
Will come back on our next visit on the island.
The air conditioning is quite old and makes a weird noise, even on the lowest setting, but it's not that hot even in the summer in here, so you don't really need it turned on overnight.

Beautifully situated, and a lovely place to be able to switch off. The staff were also very good and I was very happy with the service I received there
Sadly the evening meal, although a good price and quite tasty was still a disappointment, not very large, and for someone like me who was cycling around the Island I needed fuel. In asking what the dishes consisted of I think there may have been a misinterpretation due to the language . Although that's my issue as I am in Spain and can't speak Spanish very well

The staff at breakfast and dinner were attentive and the pool was very good. As we did not use the spa facilities its difficult to give a balanced review as it's a spa hotel.
No fault of the hotel but it's a little isolated there.

The location and the installations in the hotel were beyond our expectations. The views are truly wonderful, the pool big enough to have a proper swim and never too busy. We did not make use of the spa treatments , so can´t comment here.
Rooms are spacious and well appointed for a 3* hotel. Good bathroom , shower pressure etc( this is important to us). However we did not sleep well as the room was either very hot or very cold (with aircon) or noisy with the windows open (we had room 204 with a motor running just below the window). To be fair we did not complain since the hotel was full.
Breakfast was really good , especially the fruit , which was always just right for eating( often we find the fruit at hotels to be brick hard) with locally produced pineapples to die for!
Evening meals not so good; choices were really healthy but the quality of meat was a bit of a disappointment and fish of the spiny varieties.
The evening meals as mentioned above with the addition that the wine list is quite limited and no white wine other than fruity.
Really nothing else was less than we could have wished.
We couldn´t get a sea view as the hotel was very busy. I would recommend this if you can make an early booking.
Also there was very poor telephone coverage although wifi was fine.

So rural in the very heart of El Hierro.

The evening menu was rather limited and didn't change for the second night

Tranquility.
Beds are too old and so is the décor. Dinner is average.
