About this apartment rental
Step into the Art Nouveau sunroom of this period apartment and just soak up its vintage style and warm character. Surrounded by extraordinary windows – some frosted for privacy, others with stained glass – along with huge houseplants and antique furnishings, it's a striking space. Read on the sofa or linger over coffee at the dining table in the morning light. Overlooking a lush garden, it's certainly the highlight of the home. But there's plenty more to love about this place. Small, but perfectly functional, the kitchen leads to a hallway and a snug TV room with its own dining table. The pretty master bedroom is beautifully decorated, with plenty of storage and a desk, while the ensuite second bedroom has its own desk and a fabulous tiled floor. There's even the option of adding a cot if you're travelling as a family. With such easy access around the city from this spot, you'll be surprised how peaceful and quiet it is – yet it's surrounded by excellent shops and restaurants and it's just a fifteen-minute walk from the Colosseum.
Home truths:
*It's on the second floor but there is a lift if you don't fancy the stairs
*City taxes when will payable on arrival – ask the host for details
*There's no parking but it's just steps away from Manzoni Metro station, two stops away from Termini
*There's plenty of laptop-friendly workspace
*Rome is very eco-conscious so please aim to be the same during your stay
*There's a cot, highchair, baby bath and more for little travellers
*There's a shared entrance and the host will greet you
