This house is just steps away from the Manitou Incline and the Pikes Peak Train. We enjoyed having enough room to spread out as well as two lovely porches to sit and enjoy the cool weather. We did not need all 4 car parking spaces but that is certainly a luxury as Manitou Parking is hard to come by. Definitely a place I would book again if coming to this area. Thank you!

Beautiful property in a great location.

We stayed 3 nights and this VRBO was close to downtown shopping and the Pikes Peak train. It was very clean and plenty of room for 9 of us. We want to come back sometime in the future and this will be our place of choice for staying.
4.8
We had a wonderful stay here. The house is lovely with lots of room plus a great front porch and a very private back patio. You can walk to some really great trails and of course the Incline. We will definitely stay here again! Thanks

The property was clean and as advertised! Had a little issue with check in as I forgot the message on how to check in came through iTrip and not through VRBO but that was on me.
Location could not be beat. Parking is excellent in a tough area to find a spot.

Family vacation with our adult children. The house was spacious and clean. We loved that the home was near the Barr Trailhead, the Manitou Incline and the Cog Train to Pikes Peak. The home was also within walking distance to the main street for shopping and dining. Also close to other attractions such as The Garden of the Gods state park. We highly recommend this house and would stay here again.

We had the whole family with us on this vacation & this house was perfect! Plenty of room for everyone so you didn’t feel like you were on top of each other. We had from great grandparents to a 4yr old. Highly recommend!!!
4.8
The location was great. There was plenty of parking. The house was well equipped. It was great for the 8 of us. It was nice to have the four bathrooms. We ejoyed sitting on the front porch and enjoyed the beautiful view of the mountains. We would highly recommend this VRBO.
4.8
Not only does this place have the perfect location to enjoy Pikes Peak and Manitou Springs, but the house itself is incredible. Very clean and updated. Lots of space. There is no doubt we will be back to this place. Absolutely amazing!
4.8
Wonderful location with great access to everything we wanted to do. With 9 family members, we had plenty of space to spread out. Enjoyed our stay!
4.8
Close to town.you could either walk in take the free bus to area's .The bus stop was about 1 block from the house.
We went to Colorado Springs 3 different times and the all were no longer than 20 minutes from the house.
We even went to Green Mountain Falls and only took a little over 20 minutes.
The only thing we didn’t read was the main bedrooms are on the 3rd floor, but that didn’t stop us from enjoying everything.
We went to Colorado Springs a few times and all places were within 20 minutes

Convenient location

The purpose of our trip was to do the incline. The house was gorgeous and comfy. Loved that there were 2 rooms on bottom floor and 2 rooms on tops floor. The house was within walking distance of the incline. Which was perfect for us.
4.8
Beautiful, clean home in a great location! Manitou is an amazing town :)
4.8
We love this house. It’s situated right by the incline and cog railway. Just a short walk into town. The hosts are wonderful and very friendly. Will definitely stay again.

We had three generations of family members staying together for a birthday weekend and had a great time. Private parking and location are fantastic, and there was plenty of space for all. The bunk room needed a bit of a deep clean, but everything else was in good shape. The history of the home is also really cool, and the kitchen was well equipped.
4.8
Our family enjoyed the location and size of the home…the snow we received gave us an opportunity to play out the front door and around the Manitou Incline with no other people around us…we couldn’t have been happier with our vacation at this location!!

This was such a beautiful home to enjoy while on vacation. The home was clean, plenty of room for a big family to enjoy and close to everything. Place had plenty of space for parking. Has a back patio with a grille. The place is extremely nice and huge! You won't be disappointed.

This property is amazing! It is in the heart of Manitou Springs and across the street from the Cog Railway. 3 stories and steps with a solid handrail. Beautiful master bedroom with fireplace and glass shower and claw tub with old style faucets for tub and shower. TVs in family room next to kitchen and one up I’m master bedroom.
Lovely back patio off the kitchen- it snowed the last night we were there and looked like deer tracks in the snow.
4 bedrooms and 3 1/2 baths make it very comfortable for everyone. The front porch is a beautiful place to sit and watch the sunrise and many joggers on their way to hike.
4.8
We enjoyed our stay and it was in a great location. The house was clean and easy communication. We would definitely stay here again.
4.8
This is our second time staying in this house, but the first with the new property management. It's a very nice property, in an awesome location. Communication with the property manager was easy, and we were allowed to check in early. Only downside is it's now very, very fee heavy. Random fees, on top of the $300 VRBO service fee and $230 in taxes, added nearly $500 to our 4 night reservation.
4.8
House has everything you need. Perfect for families. Hiking. Short walk to downtown. The COG railway/train to Pikes Peak is awesome!!
4.8
Great house. Close to downtown and cog wheel train.

This home was a perfect layour and location for our family vacation. We had our adult children and their children with us. There are 2 living areas, an amazing front porch and a patio in the back so lots of space to spread out. The kitchen is updated. Generous bedroom sizes. The home is literally across the street from the Cog railway and steps from the Incline and Barr Trail. There is a very convenient bus stop to take you to town down the hill. We loved everything and plan to return again.
4.8
Great place! Right up the hill from a cool/small downtown area with lots of shops and small restraunts, more of a family friendly environment but there are a couples bars and a brewery. Great neighborhood and location, lots of foot traffic being right at the base of “The Incline” and the Cog train station. Town also has a useful and free bus system that comes around every 20 minutes with a stop less than a block from the house to “downtown” and back.

Family vacation in Manitou Springs
Location was convenient to attractions, quiet, and had off-street parking. The kitchen as well as the living area had a TV, movies, and games for the family. Ellen was great to work with and very responsive to our needs and questions. Thanks to Mike and Ellen. We had a great stay! Rick and Carol

Great location, beautiful home
We really enjoyed our stay at this house. We had 5 people in our party all over the age of 18 and everyone had a great time. Close to the cpg railroad and tons of hiking paths. Beautiful place to stay and I would highly recommend... and we would stay here again!

My spouse and I stayed here this trip, but it can easily accommodate up to 3 more couples. I did the Incline while we were there and the house is within walking distance to the Incline entrance (maybe 20 yards). If you feel like walking the house is also within walking distance of the main street (about 5 blocks), but be warned, it is downhill all the way there and uphill all the way back. The house was beautiful and the main bedroom on the 3rd floor had a very nice gas fireplace and the bed was very comfortable. There is also ample parking next to the house for several vehicles, which we came to find out is very precious Manitou Springs.
I would definitely stay here again and recommend it for a group. The only 2 things I had issues with (and when I say issues, I mean extremely minor) is that if you are on the 1st floor and the incline or cog railway are busy than you do hear alot of street noise. We did hear some on the 3rd floor, but it was most obvious on the 1st floor. Also, in the living room on the 2nd floor there are no curtains, and there is a rod that looks like there used to be curtains, so at night when you have the lights or tv on people on the street can see straight into the living room.
I definitely still give this house 5 stars and will be coming back with friends.
