We had a lovely week at Porch House. The UK weather was unreliable but we managed a couple of days at the beach (Old Hunstanton, Wells and Brancaster were all beautiful and dog friendly) and there was lots to do locally and in Hunstanton with the SeaLife centre and fun fair.
The house was a real home from home and perfect for the 5 of us and our cockapoo. We will be back.

Second visit to the Porch House and just as great as the first. The house is beautifully decorated with a sunny relaxing garden. Home from home, great location to both the town and the dunes of Old Huntstanton.

Home from Home
Just back from a wonderful week in Huntstanton. The house was beautifully furnished with very comfy beds in a very peaceful location but also very close to the town and beach. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to explore the Norfolk coast. Thank you and looking forward to booking for next year.

Wonderful well appointed house
The rule of thumb for holiday rents is whether you would like to live there .. and the answer is yes. Solid , well furnished beautifully decorated house on quiet street . Owners were very helpful , a bit on the expensive side if there are only two paying adults and a young family , but highly recommended .
A very small caveat around upstairs bathroom being suitable for elderly - but there is a shower room downstairs .

Lovely house in good location for kids, only real let down was the poor shower and unusable bath upstairs. Need to improve the hot water in the house as bath time was a real chore !

Beautiful holiday house
Great place to stay, really comfortable and practical spaces.
It’s a very beautiful house and the only downside was the water pressure which made us laugh more than annoyed us.
We would definitely stay again, we had a lovely stay

Beautiful house in great location
Porch House is in a great location, in a quiet residential road only a few minutes walk from Hunstanton beach and under a 10 minute walk from the shops and the town. It has been decorated and furnished beautifully to a very high standard and the beds are really comfortable. The Kitchen is really well equipped, it was good having 2 sitting rooms as well. Nice little garden.
Our only criticism really would be that the downstairs shower, being electric, has very poor pressure so it took ages to have a shower.

Delightful, well kept house in excellent Hunstanton location
Our mature family of five spent seven lovely days in Porch House in early September 2021, helped by the sunny weather. The house was immaculate on arrival and with a very generous welcome pack. Plenty of room for us all, the bedrooms were clean and nicely decorated, with comfortable beds, and spacious seating in the two reception rooms. It became our home from home immediately.
We enjoyed the delightful walled garden and spent a lot of our time there, and we liked the Weber gas grill so much that we ordered one for delivery on our return home!
Our elderly mother was in a wheelchair and it was a ten minute trip for us all to the centre of town and a few more minutes to the seafront. Mother took a little time getting used to the steps in the house and garden but managed well.
We often went straight down Lower Lincoln Street to the prom in about seven minutes, where there is the delicious and wholesome Salad Bowl cafe, not to be missed; likewise the Northgate Indian restaurant and Chives restaurant in the centre. Supafry fish and chips were very good, but a shame about the sporadic and unreliable opening times. Don't forget the discount coupons in the residence; we forgot ours for Eric's Pizza/Fish n Chips and the Jolly Sailors, twice...!
We met the owner Emma on arrival who was most courteous and obviously runs a quality property with attention to detail.
We'll be back!

Wonderful place to stay in Hunstanton
Great place to stay in Hunstanton. Perfect location. Wonderfully equipped kitchen. Peaceful garden. Spacious and super comfy. We would love to be back there. The owners mention the Victorian plumbing several times in the property guide. It is antiquated. This is an annoyance as the shower is disappointing given everything else in this property is high class.
