I hesitated to book this property due to Vacasa's poor customer service reputation, but I gave them a chance. Unfortunately, I regret that decision.
Vacasa sent a marketing email 10 days before check-in, mentioning that detailed instructions would be texted on the day of arrival. I received a text with codes for the gate, door, and unit, along with Wi-Fi details, but nothing about parking. We parked in a spot without any "Owner Parking" signage, yet our car was towed the next day, causing us to miss planned events.
When I contacted Vacasa, they informed me that parking information was buried in the "Driving Directions" section of an earlier email. Since I knew the area, I hadn’t reviewed those directions, and the text on the day of arrival didn’t mention the parking spot. Despite this oversight, Vacasa refused to reimburse the $225 tow fee.
I'm disappointed that a company would choose not to rectify their mistake, prioritizing a small fee over customer satisfaction. This experience has only confirmed Vacasa’s poor reputation. Their customer service and priorities need serious improvement.

Great access to downtown Asheville for nightlife. Easy access to the highway for daytime outdoor adventures.

Very nicely appointed rooms, great location, but total screw up with combination lock. Probably Vacasa' s fault, not vrbo. We arrived late, and texted back & forth with Vacasa agent. Finally got in at 12:30AM after 1.5 hrs.

The central location to so many shops, restaurants, museums, etc. And, it's well stocked with household supplies! (minus a spatula).

Stayed here for 5 nights as a home base for a leaf watching trip. Property is clean and had every thing we needed for our stay. It’s really central to all of the fun in downtown Asheville. Would definitely stay here again.

The apartment was clean and well situated. We were able to walk everywhere we needed to.
Our only complaint was the sparsity of toilet paper and soap. There were leftover rolls of toilet paper in the pantry.

The place is small, but perfect for a couple getaway. Close to restaurants in downtown (certainly walkable) and easy highway access for visits to Biltmore and the mountains.

From concert to bed about 7 minutes. Perfect for 2 people. Great parking which seems to be a big issue in town. Walk to everything downtown. For our needs it was great.

Nice place for a couple. Great location and very clean. Has everything you need for a great stay. The only complaint is the binder with rules, tv instructions, etc needs updated. Had a really hard time trying to watch a football fame. If you have your own streaming bring it, it will make things easier.

Great location with a nice end parking spot giving quick, easy access to the room. We loved that we got a text on check in day telling us that we could get in earlier than the 4pm check in. We weren’t able to get in that much earlier but it was very nice.
The location allowed us to keep our car just parked, all except for one day where we did the Biltmore Estate. Everything else was an easy walk. We were in and out each day and came back to the condo often to change, etc.
Condo was comfortable for the two of us. The shower was great with double heads and we liked that the bedroom had its own sink for brushing our teeth.
Unit very quiet and we were rarely disturbed.
For some reason, the heat does not escape the unit, so even though we had the heat set at 68, the unit stayed around 74 degrees, too hot for us. We even shut off the heat fully one morning and came back to 74 degrees, even though it was only around 33 degrees that day. We finally had to turn the AC on, even though it was freezing cold outside.
Our only real complaint was that a Roku device controls the television. We love watching YouTube and it wasn’t an option on the Roku. We tried adding it but a PIN was required to add this free app. Also, we subscribe to YouTube TV and could have just logged into our account to enjoy the NFL Wild Card weekend, but again, it couldn’t be added.
They left us a bottle of white wine which was awesome and we enjoyed it!
Thanks for the enjoyable weekend! We would like to come back.

PROS-The Condo is ideally located in the City of Asheville with a superb parking spot in an otherwise very crowded community. The condo was clean and easily accessed. The bedroom was comfortable, and the kitchen is functional. CONS- the bathroom utilizes a sliding barn door that doubles for the door to the washer/dryer. This door does not stay shut but rolls open, requiring something to be wedged under it if you want privacy. The thermostat was set on 61 for heat but the inside of the unit was a constant 75 degrees-the heat would not go off-we had to crack a window to get any semblance of comfort. The Condo utilizes Roku which severely limits any television watching. Adding any channels requires knowing the pin number for the Roku (which is unavailable). The instructions for using this television are in the Welcome Book but they are not correct (in fact, the Welcome Book mentions a hot tub which doesn't exist). The fan in the bathroom doesn't work. There's a broken drawer in one of the night-stands next to the bed. I would give this Condo a letter grade of C- because it needs attention and repairs. I don't plan on staying there again.

The place was great!!! It’s a perfect location for Exploring Downtown!!! We will definitely make it a destination spot for every trip to Asheville!!!

It was clean and very well maintained. A good location, good size and accessible to the downtown area. We really enjoyed it. The dryer was confusing even after study of the manual. There were instruction for recycle disposal but curiously no outside recycle receptacle. How nice they gave us a complimentary bottle of wine! I would definitely rent again.

Nice place.
The apartment is exactly as described and very walkable to downtown. Our only problem was that there are gates to get into the building and the check - in instructions did not include the codes. We were standing around outside making phone calls. Make sure you have codes to get in the building as well as the apartment door.

Loved it!!
Perfect location, very clean and we enjoyed everything! Would stay here again. Only complaints are it’d be nice to have a bathroom door that locks and a fan, and more toilet paper available. Otherwise, excellent!

Great location. I have already completed 2 different reviews one on Airbnb and another one. The communication is too much! Not to mention the 55 emails and texts leading up to the stay

Great location, uncomfortable furniture
Couldn't have asked for a better location or smoother process checking in and parking. The email you receive ahead of time is incredibly useful and tells you everything you need to know. The place is well stocked with anything you might need during your stay. The reason I am giving this place three stars and not five is because of the incredibly hard bed and pillows. My husband and I woke up every day sore from the firmness of the bed. Sleep is an integral part of a comfortable stay and for that reason alone, I could not give this place more than 3 stars. The couches are also quite uncomfortable and poor quality. If you like a firm bed and furniture, I'd recommend this place.

No cable so bring your own streaming media device because the roku provided is limited. Checkout at 10am was too early in my opinion. Allowed early check-in. Bed and couch were not very comfortable. Shower was nice for taller folks. I did miss personal communication like you would get with a hotel. Overall, I would stay there again.

Great location!
I really enjoyed the location of this property. It's right by the highway but you'll never know it when you are inside. It's a short walk away from all types of restaurants, shops, coffee, breweries and much more. I would definitely recommend staying here to experience Asheville!

Excellent Location & Wonderful Condo
We really liked this unit. Decorated very nicely and so clean. Easy access with door codes and we had an assigned parking spot. Nice location in that we could walk downtown. We loved the apartment feel of this rental - more than a hotel. Excellent.

4+ Weeks in Asheville
The property is accurately reflected in the photos. It is well located for the town itself, being within walking distance of the main streets. The location is 5 minutes from supermarkets and most restaurants in town.
We requested once a week cleaning service and everything was done professionally and in a timely manner.
My one reservation is that there are no views of the beautiful mountains that surround the city and no place to sit outside the apartment.
However, almost every property has it’s pros and cons. I liked the fact that there was a small washer/dryer in the apartment. The kitchen had all the items you would need for a working kitchen.
The King size bed was comfortable and there was enough storage space for clothing.
I felt we had a reasonably good deal. There was also on-site assigned parking spaces.

Cute, comfortable place to stay in Asheville
Overall this was a great place to stay. It was very clean and communication was easy and abundant with the property manager. The bed was very comfortable - I think it was a temperpedic. The room darkening shades made sleep easy and there was a powerful fan in the master. My only complaints are that there was no Kleenex at all and only a roll and a half of toilet paper for a whole week. We had to go buy more. I probably could have reached out but it was easier just to buy it.

Great location, comfortable place
Comfortable condo walking distance to town with a designated parking spot. It was quiet and secure and everything we needed for an enjoyable few days in Asheville!

Our first impression was the dank, musty smell of the hallway. It was obvious that the property manager was trying to disguise an order in the unit with heavy smelling room fresheners. There was no cable tv, and when we called the number provided, they were very rude. The sheets were thin, and the towels were thin and like polyester. We’ve stayed at many Vrbo properties and always been pleased. The only reason to rent this below par unit is the proximity to downtown.

My wife and I had a great stay in Asheville. The location was a close walk to downtown, and we felt very safe walking. The room was comfortable, and easy to access. The communication from Turnkey was exceptional, with very clear instructions every step of the way. We would definitely recommend!Note: Turnkey is providing me with a $10 gift card for my review, but they did not pressure me in any way to leave a positive review.

Excellent Asheville Location
Great property in the perfect location. We easily walked around the area that was filled with good shopping and great restaurants. It was easy to travel to nearby tourist attractions. We even saw a mama bear and 3 cubs playing in a nearby neighborhood!!

Beautiful Condo
We enjoyed our stay in Asheville in this condo. We were hoping to walk to restaurants and shopping, however, the location was not as convenient as we had hoped. You have to walk through a pretty rough few blocks before you get to the restaurants and shopping. Parking downtown is difficult, which is why we had hoped to walk everywhere. The condo provided everything we needed, was clean and well appointed. We enjoy larger living spaces and comforts of home when traveling, not a hotel room. The price was comparable to a hotel, and provided much more.

Great stay!
This condo downtown is an ideal base for walking to dining and shopping. Very clean and obviously well managed. My only critique is the bedroom gets sunny and blackout curtains would be very helpful. Otherwise we had a perfect couple’s getaway!

The property was just as described. Very close to everything with it's own parking. Had some trouble getting someone to respond about A/C not working but it was eventually resolved. The only bad part was that although there is no smoking allowed in the building, someone was smoking. It was very unpleasant. Too bad people cannot play by the rules.
