Cute, clean updated house located in a safe neighborhood. We liked the fact that it is very child proof. Our one year old was able to explore safely. We prepared some meals in the house. It is located near Cuyahoga Falls National Forest where were able to hike and kayak. We also drove to Lake Eerie.

This location was perfect for our long weekend stay to visit Cuyahoga National Park. The location is in a peaceful lovely neighborhood with a beautiful view out onto the lake cove from the house. It worked great for myself and my friend as there are two private bedrooms with either full or queen size beds. We didn't use the room in the rear of the house with the table for eating. We actually thought it would be better served as an additional bedroom to fit more people in the house. Everything was extremely clean and comfortable with great hot water in the shower. The host was wonderful responding to me immediately with questions. It would be a great place to stay with kids as the park and playground are in walking distance. There are several great restaurants in the area, we went to Burntwood Tavern and sat on the deck overlooking the river, it was wonderful. It's the perfect location if you are visiting the National Park, it's so close to all of it.

This house was extremely clean. The host was very easy to communicate with and accommodating. located in a quiet subdivision and nice and close to Kent State University, which was exactly what we were looking for. The kitchen was well stocked. We would definitely stay here again.

I communicated my few concerns with the property manager and hope to stay there again in the future.

Cottage is very clean with one exception, the exhaust fan in the bathroom could use a little attention. I was excited because it was described as a "Lakeside cottage", but the outside really needs some TLC. Nice if you are the indoor type, but not much outside appeal.

We enjoyed our stay at this clean, cute cabin that is updated and just as pictured. We found it very comfortable and convenient for our weekend there to celebrate our daughter's graduation from Kent State; I would highly recommend it as a great alternative to hotels in Kent for future graduations.

We overall enjoyed our 4 night stay. We biked and hiked in Cuyahoga Valley National Park and succeeded in the main goal of the trip, seeing the total eclipse! The little house on the lake was a good location to get to the park within a few minutes and go to Hudson, Cuyahoga Falls, and Kent to check out different restaurants in the evenings. The neighborhood is fine but not the most picturesque. I gave the listing accuracy a 4 because I'm pretty sure that the 2 beds were full size rather than queen size. Otherwise it was clean, comfortable, and very pleasant! Thank you!

Check in/out was easy. House was clean, organized and had everything we needed for our stay. Evan, is a great host and was very responsive to all messages. It is in a great location for easy, short drives into CVNP for day trips. Also, close enough to Akron, Cuyahoga falls and Cleveland for restaurants, breweries, etc.

The house was clean when we arrived. We were visiting with family and it was close enough to their home. Enjoyed the Christmas lights of Hudson. I liked being able to have access to a kitchen in order to make our own meals instead. Overall enjoyed our stay.

I enjoyed my stay here. The house is in a safe quiet neighborhood next to a little lake. It was very reasonably priced, beautifully styled with comfortable beds and the owner was very friendly and there if I needed anything. I would definitely stay here again. It’s the type of house I could easily live in.

Very nice house, clean, spacious for a couple or two. Outside area was nice, but we didn’t really use it since it was November when we were there. Didn’t notice a grill either which would have been a must if we had gone earlier in the year (may have been put up for the winter).
My wife and I came to visit Cuyahoga National Park, and this is a very nice house to do that from. Easy access to the park and a great place to visit. Stow is a pretty cool little town too, plenty of well maintained bike and walking paths. Luca’s pizza is pretty good also.
Overall great little trip. We are definitely going back again.

This property is very clean and exactly as the photos depict. The host was very responsive throughout our stay. The location is perfect as it is near breweries and restaurants. Plus, we could drive less than 15 minutes to be at our hiking trails. It was a perfect balance and a comfy place to come back to at night. Highly recommend!!!

This is a newly updated home. Really appreciated having a laundry. If you want clean, this place is for you! The house is very sterile, not many personal touches, had most of everything needed for a 2 night stay.

Very clean home, great commutation with Evan. Well located near Cuyahoga town and the National park. Beds are firm, and it doesn’t have all the luxury touches of some vrbos but for the price, that makes sense. Definitely a good home base for exploring the area

We couldn’t have found a more perfect place for our vacation at Cuyahoga NP. Newly decorated, clean, cozy. Quiet neighborhood. Felt like home. Great place to come back to after a day of hiking in the park. Everything we did was within a 15 mile radius. We highly recommended this terrific home.

My two grandkids were supposed to stay over with me for two nights but the youngest got cold feet and wanted her daddy so the grandkids did not stay overnight but they lived so close by that I still got to spend quality time with them.

We were looking for a house close to the National Park, but not to far from restaurants, stores, etc. and we found the perfect place. Evans place was ideally located, exceptionally clean and had all the conveniences we needed. He is an outstanding host as I literally waited no more than 5 minutes for responses to a few questions I had. Some prior reviews mentioned the firm beds, but I personally loved them and slept better than I had in a long time. Neighborhood is safe, quiet and beautifully situated on a lake. You won’t be disappointed staying here.

My wife and I needed a get-away and decided to spend the weekend hiking in Cuyahoga Valley National Park. This property was located very close to all of the trails that we were interested in and there were several small towns with good restaurants as well. The property was very clean and newly remodeled. It worked out perfectly for us.

An enjoyable stay. Needed to turn the heat way down at night, otherwise the bedrooms would be too warm. It's called learning to adjust. Everything else seemed fine.

My wife, daughter and I rented the Stow Lakeside Cottage for a long wedding weekend in nearby Richfield. It was absolutely perfect — a beautiful view, nicely upgraded, secluded, yet conveniently located to restaurants, stores, points of interest, etc. in a quiet, safe cottage neighborhood. It’s exactly as advertised. We’d be remiss, though, not mentioning the hospitality of our host, Evan. Highly accommodating, excellent and prompt communications, and friendly. If you’re considering this property, you won’t go wrong. Thank you, Evan!

Quaint and recently renovated property that worked well for our family of four. Our boys appreciated the game console and the park nearby. We loved the close proximity to Cuyahoga Valley National Park, where we spent a majority of our time. Typically only 10-20 minutes to get to any place in the park we wanted to be!
The beds are new, although definitely firm. I had trouble sleeping, but the rest of the family was fine. Well stocked with cleaning materials, although could use more dishes for those that are cooking in. There were not any mixing/serving bowls, but we made it work.
We would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in the area!

Very clean, nice, and convenient location. Kids loved the video game console and we had everything we needed including washer/dryer, streaming options, blankets, pillows, and cooking supplies. There’s coffee, soap, and a few pods for the dishwasher and laundry. Could have used an iron/ironing board but no big deal. Nice little spot.
