We had an amazing vacation. Tons of room and the neighborhood was beautiful, we took several walks throughout the week. The kitchen everything you could ever need! Lots of comfy seating and the beds were also super comfortable. We enjoyed the large dining table for dinner and playing cards.
We would definitely stay at this cabin again!!!

The only real issue we had was that the signage in the area is not great. We got lost on a couple of trails due to poor signage, but the cabin and the neighborhood were great. Lots of wildlife on the mountain—we saw coyotes, chipmunks, rabbits, groundhogs, tons of butterflies, and birds. Gorgeous area!

Everything was perfect! We didn’t use the kitchen much (except refrigerator) but we noticed it had everything you may need. Pool table and hot tub amenities were on point. Will rent again!!

It was very comfortable with plenty of space for the five of us. The kids enjoyed the hot tub and pool table.

While the property overall was great, the inside of the house itself was subpar. Multiple outlets without covers in the room ideal for children and throughout the house, the heat didn’t work very well downstairs so it was too cold for the kids to even use the room that was intended for them, one of the Carbon Monoxide alarms wasn’t even plugged in, and when I opened one of the drawers in the bedside table of the room myself and children slept in there was weed in the drawer. I contacted the rental company was was simply told “please document this information if we need to reach back out”

We found the cabin to be spacious and had everything we needed for our stay. Convenient location in a quiet neighborhood. Back yard was perfect for my Goldendoodle to run and play. It is in need of a deep clean and attention to detail but I would likely rent again. Overall a good stay!

We loved the cabin, it was really nice. The cleaning crew could do a better job considering the fee we paid, floors weren’t mopped, maybe just swept. We enjoyed the hot tub, even in July!

Four 40plus couples having fun!!! Cabin was great

The location was great and the hot tub worked well. Grass was too tall to use the fire pit. Two beds were missing sheets and there were no extra. The Teflon on the frying pans was peeling off so we couldn’t use them. There wasn’t enough toilet paper.

House was awesome loved the house.Needed some serious cleaning. They would not cut grass so we could use firepit .All we got the whole wk was promises. We enjoyed our selves although things that needed to be done did not get done.

Beds were comfortable, hot tub was nice. Home was clean for the most part.

The location is pretty with large rooms, hot tub was nice. House creaky so at night, any movement can be heard in the rest of the house. Needs more blankets since gets chilly at night. Kitchen well laid out, but there were literally no pans at all to bake anything in, and no usable skillets other than small size! So, bring your own pots/pans/bakeware/dish scrubber/knives and kitchen trash bags if you plan to do any cooking for more than 2 people!

The cabin was very cozy and plenty of space. The hut tub was so clean and kept hot and ready to use when we arrived. The mountain views were awesome with plenty of outdoor activities to choose from. Downtown Boone was very charming had brunch at Melanie’s Food Fantasy, delicious. Went to Trout Lake for a hike nothing to crazy just beautiful views a nice loop around the lake and finished our last night with a yummy meal at Taquerias Mexican. Oh and one more yummy treat I can’t forget about, Appalachian Cookie Shop!!!! Amazing- the blueberry white choc oatmeal is to die for. Can’t wait to come back😊

Think twice before do it. Improve needed ASAP.
The cabin is big, but the cleaning services is not good at all. The carpets on the rooms are nasty, look's like they just do vacuum over the dirt. There are spiders web in every corner, dogs hair everywhere. The ceiling fan can not hold more dust. We cleaned the only one we have access. The sheets on guest rooms super dirty, looks like it was just turner over and back to the same bed.
Walmart is @ 15 mints so you can go and get things to clean a little bit as we did.
The last guest review complained about the reclinable, well the new one arrived while we was there, we left and the box still in the front waiting to be set.
A lot of utensils in the kitchen. I do not think is too bad except for the cleaning. I hope the reviews help to improve it.

Don't Waste Your Money
Unfortunately, our experience at this house was underwhelming. It started when I was trying to reheat a meal I had cooked at home. I opened all the cabinets and I found a small pot and a large pot, neither with lids. There were also 2 small frying pans. That was pretty much it for cooking. There were, however, plenty of plates and bowls and silverware. There was a coffee maker, but it was missing the carafe. Without the carafe it was inoperable. We couldn't make coffee all weekend.
Within 10 minutes of arriving. my son sat in the recliner and fell out the back. The back of the recliner wasn't attached to the seat. Someone had propped it up to make it look OK, which was dangerous.
The hot tub had so much chlorine that it burned our eyes and gave my daughter a rash. The carpets are heavily soiled. There are stains everywhere in the master bedroom. There was no remote for the gas fireplace. The master bedroom didn't have a comforter. It only had an old cotton blanket that had holes in it (and this was November in the mountains).
I told the management company about all these issues on Friday night. They responded on Saturday that they would try to talk with someone about fixing them. I never heard back from them. In the least, they could have brought us a coffee maker. But, instead, they never responded.
Still, the location is beautiful and the house has 4 bedrooms and a pool table. I might have given it 3 stars. But, when I stripped the beds before leaving, I found that the sheets were covered in black dog hair. Upon closer inspection, the carpets were also covered with dog hair. Gross.
In addition, the house didn't come with any instructions. There were no checkout procedures. I could only guess what I was supposed to do to clean up before checking out.
There are too many well-maintained houses in the mountains to waste money renting this house.

Great place for our family of 10.
Location is great. Kitchen was well equipped. Layout for living area was great for our family. The beds were very comfy. The bunk room in the basement didn't get very warm, so dress warm or plan to heat up the upstairs. The top bunk did not have a railing so no little ones up there! Washer and dryer were hidden in the back of the garage.

Private Yard
The house is conveniently located not far from campus and other amenities. The driveway is fine this time of year but I can see why you would need 4 wheel drive in the winter time. The grass was a little long but the backyard is very private and it is very quiet. The tvs did not work upon check in. The rental company had them working by night time but the living room tv never had volume control. The house has plenty of space!! Perfect for a larger group.
