About this cabin rental
Nestled in the pines and oaks of the Blue Ridge Mountains, this authentic log cabin gives you the slowed-down feel of NC while being only minutes away from the bustling heart of ASU, the Boone Greenway, restaurants, & shopping. From the real pine timbers to the handcrafted woodwork inside to its unique family roots that can be traced back to Daniel Boone himself, this cabin has a feel of its own that you simply have to experience for yourself.
This is a three-story log cabin with a bedroom and full bathroom on each floor. On the top level, there is a master bedroom that features an in-suite jacuzzi tub. Walking out of the master bedroom is a spacious and peaceful loft area adorned with large glass pane windows, a sleeper sofa, and a writing desk (this was our son's favorite place to study when he was a student at ASU). On the main level, there is a large open-ceiling living room with an additional sofa bed, and a gas fireplace; that opens up to the dining area and kitchen, making it easy to entertain while cooking meals. Down the hall from the kitchen is another bedroom and a full bathroom. On the bottom level, there is another cozy living area (with 2 twin air mattresses available for extra sleeping space), a small breakfast table, a kitchenette, a bedroom, a full bathroom, and a laundry room. Outside the main level and bottom level are two wide wrap-around porches where you can enjoy watching the deer, birds, and squirrels as they visit the fields and woods surrounding the house. The bottom deck features a hot tub where you can relax and unwind after a long day of fun and activities around the town.
We respect your privacy and will give you space but will be available if needed. We provide self-check-in by using digital locks.
Our neighborhood of 3 houses sits at the end of a quiet gravel drive. Even though we are tucked back into the woods, we are still very close to all the shopping and restaurants in downtown Boone. We really enjoy Stick Boy Bread Co, Appalachian Mountain Brewery, Sunrise grill, and the Local to name a few. We are located less than a mile from the Boone Greenway that now holds the brand new Watauga County Parks and Recreation building and the new ASU soccer stadium, 2 miles from the ASU football stadium, 2.2 miles from King street (Boone's main street), 0.6 miles to the closet grocery store, 7.4 miles to Appalachian Ski Mtn and a 30 min drive to Sugar Ski Mountain, 7.1 miles to blowing rock and a 40-minute drive to Grandfather Mountain.
Expect traffic, especially when there is a home football game or concert at the ASU football stadium.
4WD or AWD is highly recommended in the winter months.

Perfect place to stay! Loved the decor and vibe. Very centrally located.

This very clean and well equipped house was perfect for visiting our ASU granddaughter! We were only a few minutes away from restaurants, stores and campus yet the location is among natural surroundings and a few nice houses. Extremely quiet and peaceful! We were also located minutes away from an Urgent Care facility which I unfortunately needed due to injuries I sustained from a fall on our journey to Boone (had nothing to do with the rental). The staff at the clinic were super nice and splinted my ankle so that I could be mobile for the rest of my stay. Perhaps because of the mishap, I lost track of time and thought that we had another day. OOPS... But the owner texted a very kind message and graciously resolved the dilemma by letting me book an extra day. Even with a chip fracture, this vacation was still a memory maker for us and granddaughter! I highly recommend DreamBnB in Boone!

Fantastic stay. Centrally located to everything yet still hidden away.
It was a perfect place with several living room areas to gather or have some quiet time.
We'll be back for sure.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning for another visit! The cabin was clean and well-appointed with linens, towels, spices, and kitchen utensils. It’s centrally located in the heart of Boone, yet tucked away on a quiet, secluded road. The host responded timely and provided everything we needed for an enjoyable stay.

Pictures and descriptions are very accurate for the property.

This is a very good place--it's definitely in town, but not situated along any of the annoyingly high-traffic roads (like Main Street or Blowing Rock Rd.). The lot is nice and woodsy, the house has one bedroom per floor, so there's a good sense of privacy, and the hosts even had it decorated for Christmas, so we had a lovely tree in addition to a cozy fireplace. Highly recommend

We booked the rental to accommodate my family for my daughter’s birthday weekend away. Ages ranged from 17-73. We also had our 2 dogs with us.
Cabin was super cute and clean. It was the perfect size for our group of 7. Felt very spacious and not cramped at all.
We did not cook in the house, but the house was stocked with plenty of spices (we could see them on the spice wall).
The fireplace worked well and heated up the space nicely.
Water pressure was not great. Contacted the owner who was quick to respond and said that was typical for the location.
Location was super convenient. So close to downtown Boone and a short drive to Blowing Rock.

Very Nice home with lots of space and great back porch for sitting out watching deer. Dont come early because door wont work until 4pm. It would really be nice if they change that to 3pm, but we were able to call owner who nicely remotely opened door. Fireplace didnt work but everything else was awesome.

We visited for my son's soccer tournament. Cabin is conveniently located to downtown Boone, grocery stores, and restaurants. My kids loved waking up and watching the deer every morning. Porches offer privacy and we enjoyed sitting in the rocking chairs in the evenings. Beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room for a family meal. Will stay here again!

Lovely modern cabin worthy of its Boone location! Beautiful, quiet, wooded location in town. Centrally located, close to the Watauga Community Recreation Center and Greenway Trail. Walking distance to Stick Boy Kitchen and Mint restaurants, and Harris-Teeter grocery. Easy access to all surrounding attractions. Cabin has great decks with comfy rocking chairs. Excellent bathroom items, including cotton balls and big bathtub in the master bedroom!! Kitchen was adequately stocked, Ample parking for our group's two cars. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely consider for future trips to Boone.

The home is really nice, but there is NO water pressure. Nothing running in the home, and barely had a trickle.
