Kayaks, cornhole, fire pit, game room. Our family had a blast hanging out and enjoying everything this property had to offer. We would absolutely go here again. Host communicated regularly and answered any questions we had.

This rental has everything you need to enjoy a great relaxing vacation. We were able to enjoy the peacefulness by the water, do some fishing, and be able to kayak as many amenities as possible. As all items are available to do so. The house is very cleanly and there is plenty of room for multiple guests.
The location is fantastic, as it is not that far out of the way to visit other towns, such as Sisters Bay.
This is the 2nd time renting this house, and we will for sure be renting it again.

We enjoyed the game room, sun room, fire pit, and all of the activities in the shed especially the kayaks. The house had supplies we didn’t expect like dish soap, shampoo, blankets, laundry detergent, etc. which was a surprise to us. While the home has AC, I think a dehumidifier is needed because there was a smell which irritated some guests allergies and asthma.

Cottage was very nice. Owner provided paper products, towels, bedding! Everything clean and fresh! Property had plenty of onsite options for entertainment rain or shine!!! Thank you Emily…we enjoyed our stay!! Would definitely book again!!

Wonderful little place, quite spacious actually. There were 6 of us and we were very comfortable. All the outdoor activities you might need. We did have to walk out in the rocks to get into the kayaks fyi cause the lift didn’t work, but it was fine with sandals or water shoes. The game room was a big hit; the kids loved the dart board especially and everything worked. Air conditioning worked, plenty of sleeping space. Top bunks were a bit squeaky because frames are metal but each bed is a queen size I believe so it was fine to stay in the bottom bunks, and my oldest slept in the pull out couch. One of the loveseats even pulls out to a bed, which is nice. There is a separate master that you have to go through to get to the shower, but that wasn’t an issue for us. There’s a half bath right outside which was sufficient since we didn’t have to go through that bedroom to use a toilet. Patio was great, dogs loved it. Area was very quiet. Stove top worked great for cooking eggs, microwave and drip coffee pot worked fine as well. Only have well water, so if that bothers you, bring your own jug or bottled water.

Great location. We had a wonderful time. There was so many things in the adventure shed for us to do. Walked the neighborhood, felt safe and saw lots of wildlife. Host was fast at responding and very friendly. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Loved this house! It was bigger than the pictures looked and had plenty of space for our group. The back yard is amazing and private even with the neighbors. Felt extremely safe with the key pads at the house. AC worked wonders for the summer. Nice and cool. You can tell this place has been marinated well. Was fully stocked with the essentials. And working with Emily was smooth as can be. Would recommend to a friend and hopefully stay here again. Thanks again!

We found this cabin to be spotless and well-stocked! We brought more than we needed such as paper products but previous renters may have left the extra napkins, TP, and paper towels. There were plenty of towels and washcloths. Several choices of where to eat including a picnic table, game room table, kitchen table, outdoor table, and a porch table. The game room was fun, especially for when we had a rainy night in. The outdoor storage area was stocked with kayaks and a canoe, fishing poles, bikes and other outdoor accessories. We didn't have young children or a pet, but this would be perfect for them as well. The lake off the dock is shallow, so no fishing there but good for kayaking on. We loved the ample chairs for the fire pit.

It was beautiful and well take care of. This was perfect for a group of us girls! And not too far from other fun places! So much fun to do there too, even though we didn’t utilize the activity shed, it was a super nice addition! The game room was a favorite of the group!

We enjoyed a quiet, restful weekend by the lake in this well kept, well stocked lake cottage. It was close to town, but felt remote and was very peaceful. I recommend for a winter getaway if that’s the environment you’re look for!
8.0 / 10.0
Our trip was great. The house is small and is probably better for a summer getaway, than a winter one, but we made it work. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking and eating. The game room was fun, although some of the things were broken. The mattresses in the bunk bed room were super comfy. My one recommendation would be to pay very close attention to the pictures. I guess I didn't because I didn't realize there wasn't really a couch if you used the second bedroom, just a couple of chairs and there also wasn't a table more that more than 3 or 4 people could sit at. Great location and in the summer, it would be amazing. Thank you to the hosts for being thoughtful in the supplies available in the house.

Not summer. Not winter. Just a quick stop on some cold and cloudy fall days. We can imagine summer days would be perfect for a family or small group. Fall and winter lovely for a couple or maybe two couples, though only one shower inside the master bed/bath so it would be cozy.

Women in my family stayed here while on a quick trip to Door County. We had such a great stay and especially enjoyed the fire pit and beautiful view of the water.

My family of 7 (6 adults and a toddler) had a wonderful time as guests of The Lake Haus - Waterfront Cottage. There was plenty of room, it was a great location, you can tell that the owners take great pride in this cottage.
The Waterfront Cottage is on the water, so nice to sit outside at night with a fire going, the game room is loads of fun.
Don't worry if you forgot something, odds are that they have it supplied there.
Thank you for allowing our family to visit and create some forever memories.

This property was the most tranquil that we have stayed at, right on a lake. There were so many offered options for this home. Provided Kayak's, Bikes, fishing equipment. Indoors there was a game room that was well enjoyed.

The property has beautiful views. The small bay is away from most of the main boat traffic to make it perfect for kayaking.

We would for sure go back again!

We had a great time at The Lake Haus. There was plenty of space and things to do for our family with older kids. The house and property were well maintained and the manager was easy to contact. The property is a short drive to Sturgeon Bay and all that the Door Peninsula has to offer.
10.0 / 10.0
The Lake Haus was everything it was advertised as. Spacious house with a great bedroom which accommodated our family and rooms to spare. With 3 grandchildren the game room was a hit. Plenty of rooms to gather or wander off to to relax. Was a great feeling not to worry about towels, toiletries, kitchen utensils, everything provided. Did I mention the was machine and dryer was a godsend.
The outside provided wonderful views and sunsets. Plenty of various outdoor play items, bikes, outdoor games, fishing gear, life vests, kayaks. And yes, we caught a lot of fish right off the dock that we could release. Unfortunately the water at the time was a bit low and hard to launch the kayaks. We didn’t mind. The peaceful walks, bike rides, a short ride to a close beach made up for that.
For once a very relaxing vacation.
We can’t say enough about Emily who helped book our stay. She was in constant communication with us if we had questions. Along with Berenice, thank you both for attending to our needs. What a great place I’m sure in the fall and winter too.
Highly recommended the Lake Haus in Sturgeon Bay, Wi.

The good -
*The cabin had everything we needed!
*Beds were comfortable and the game room was awesome.
*The adventure shed was perfect for us.
*Beautiful view and the backyard was perfectly shaded in the afternoon
*With 2 babies we could still get them in separate areas with doors closed for naps and night time
The bad -
*The photos do not give a great picture of the bathroom situation or layout. The bathroom with the shower is through the “master bedroom” and the doors hit each other
*The lake stunk, we thought it was the septic tank
*There is not an easy way to get into the lake with a kayak. The shore is completely rock
*The dock was way to high to even get in a boat or a kayak from the dock
*We cleaned after we got there because we were still finding dog hair on the floor
*The internet cut in and out constantly

We have rented from this company before (different house) and they never disappoint! This is a beautiful, pristinely clean house right on the water with beautiful views from the living room and three seasons room. My husband and I came for a short weekend, but can see would be perfect for a large family or for multiple families to meet. The bunkbed room and adventure shed is what makes it perfect for that. The bunkbed room is a huge room with three queen bunkbeds (so six queen beds!). The photos don't deceive - the beds are not close together and the beds appear new and firm (no rocky, creaking bunkbeds!). And the adventure shed means your big group does not have to travel from the house for entertainment - kayaks, paddleboards, and bikes galore! Almost forgot - the game room looks like it would be amazing for a group if the weather doesn't cooperate for lake activities.

Clean property in a quiet neighborhood! Kids loved the bunk room with large bunkbeds! Enjoyed the firepit nightly! Manager communication was great and took care of our non-emergency situation as if it were. Great service! Loved the kayaks and bikes as well!

Situated right on the lake, this property provided great options for adventure and relaxation. Most of the days we hung by the fireplace, and some of the time with the lake frozen, we walked out on it, all the while enjoying the quiet. Emily was most responsive and helpful to our needs and questions.

Great property. 6 adults and had a wonderful time. Bon fires, game room and great location for exploring Door County.
10.0 / 10.0
Enjoyed the view and the house. Only two issues, 3 adults could not figure out how to get the shower to work and we never found the monitor for the holding tank besides the none existent Packer's clock (we couldn't find it either). But we didn't mind because we were having a wonderful time.

This place offers a lot to do with the adventure shed, we took the row boat out on the water and it was perfect! Enjoyed campfires by the lake and played a few games of darts as well. The place offered great space as well as great sunset views and fully stocked kitchen which was a plus. Would definitely stay here again!
