Great home in an amazing location. Close to plenty of great bars and restaurants. Communication with Doug was easy and he was great to deal with through the entire stay. Really comfortable setup. We loved the home. Thanks Doug!

My family stayed here when visiting me in Chicago. The layout of the space was really great and check-in was easy. Street parking in the neighborhood is a little tricky with permits, as our group had multiple cars. However Doug was very helpful and accommodating x

We were there to see a concert at the salt shed-location was great- there was some stuff that could use updating. He was super nice so I don’t want to go into too much - if location Is what you want, go for it- the ladder in the back room to get to the “loft” was super sketchy I didn’t even try to go up but my friends did and said it was basically a broken futon. I would never stay there again the way it was. I hope the young man that owns it makes some improvements - like toilet paper that actually fits the holder and isn’t some giant roll (like they use in large hospitals or public parks) on the back of the seat- trash cans in the bathroom would be nice - the giant trash can that didn’t have a bag in it and had refuse just hanging in the living room was pretty gross. I brought my own bed and slept on the floor. There’s no way more than three people could be comfortable sleeping here- I wasn’t at all- but like I said a ten min walk to the salt shed was worth it for the two nights we stayed. The place itself is really cool - just needs a good deep clean and some added stuff like a better loft ladder and some love in the bathroom. Don’t stay if you have cat allergies - wish you well thank you. I hope I’m not rude, just trying to give some insight.

Great house in a fun neighborhood. The manager is very clearly vested in maintaining the property and respecting his neighbors.

This property is gorgeous! It's the small details that make it extraordinary. We had a very minor issue and Doug responded and had it fixed at 7:30 in the morning. Some have commented on the stairs, and yes there are a lot, but that was the beauty of separating our guests when they needed personal space. We will definitely be back!
Thank you Doug for everything. Truly a beautiful home.

Our family met in Chicago for the holidays. There was plenty of space for all of us. The fourth floor bedroom was quite large and had additional sofa and tv for an extra living space. Communication with owner was seamless, location perfect. We felt safe in the neighborhood and found street parking nearby. I would highly recommend this property.

The checkin experience was arduous. I was not given the several pages of instructions and key codes until the morning of my stay. We were already driving from Ohio and given the extensive requirements we decided to check in before our evening event to be sure all was well. We were late to our event and never felt relaxed due to all of the rules.
