Great place and location to attend a family wedding in Seattle
4.0
Property is a bit hard to find the first time. The stay started off on the worst possible way; as soon as you walked in the door the place REEKED of gas. A quick check confirmed that the odor was due to someone negligently bumping the gas stovetop on and not noticing the sound of gas coming out or the odor PRIOR to leaving said property unattended for hours until we checked in. Once in contact with owner, they were really nonchalant for the situation and just told us to use a couple of fans and we should be fine. No offer to recoup the potential scrapped night of stay nor offer to put my party in another place to stay for the night. The number of windows painted stuck did not help the situation at all, we had only 3 windows throughout the house we could open and had to have multiple doors propped open for multiple hours. The owner never contacted again to check after that. I will say they did do something and called the fire department who went to check out gas levels and brought their own fan, they never called and let us know so we only ran into the FD as we were leaving to go out for dinner. The state of the house was lacking, in my opinion, safety wise. As stated before, most of the windows were painted shut, all entries could only stay shut using the deadbolt, and each door still had gaps and did not seal completely. It was clear these were by choice for a while. This place was minimally renovated just for the money and not customer comfort. I do not recommend.

Decent neighborhood for seattle. House seemed to be slapped together to rent out. Did not seem to be ready for families to stay in. Water leaked through the exhaust fan in downstairs bathroom onto my wife while she was using the restroom. Contacted owner and was told my plummer said its ok. Absolutely disgusting and unsafe as the water was dripping across tye electrical wires. Back door barely closes and on and on. Was very willing to look past the negatives until we spoke to the owner and he ignored our concerns and told us we are wrong and its fine. Will not Ever stay again.

Great property for large family (6 to 8). Could use a coat of paint, but comfortable.

The whole time we were there was great! David let us know when the place ready and gave us great instructions on how to get it. Whole house looks big in the inside and the outside looks small. Great place to stay for a couple of nights in seattle.

we had a good time! there was a heat wave and ac issues when we arrived, david was responsive and helpful and the problem got fixed. the main kitchen, dining room and living room were big and comfortable and all six of us (and our stuff!) fit pretty well.
the description says four bedrooms on the top floor, two on the bottom. in reality, the house is THREE LEVELS: the basement has a small kitchen, a bathroom with a shower stall, a full-bed bedroom and a small bedroom with a very shaky twin. this is the only part of the house that can be accessed without going up or down at least seven steps; there are two single steps down to get in or out, so not wheelchair accessible, and no way to get into the rest of the house without going up a flight of stairs.
the main part of the house has everything else on one level except two of the bedrooms, and to access from the front, back or basement there are stairs.
two of the bedrooms (the biggest two) are in the attic. there is a steep flight of twelve stairs from the main level to reach them and there are NO BATHROOMS upstairs.
so if you are in a group who is stair or bathroom challenged, talk to the hosts before reserving.

Great place to stay with multiple bedrooms. Lots of space indoors and a nice patio with hot tub out back. A short Uber ride to Northgate station and within walking distance of a Safeway and a coffee shop.

We chose this house for the location between downtown Seattle and Snohomish where my brother lives. Stayed here with my family of 6 and brother's family of 4. Great central location to all we had to do. Grocery store and Starbucks 2 minutes away.
The house was older but clean. The beds were all comfy. Nice big table for eating together and plenty of couch space. Biggest con was Basement had quite a few spiders and leaky bathroom ceiling that the owner was in the middle of fixing. A/C units were noisy in the rooms but did block out the loud street noise.
Hot tub out back was a nice perk. This home is great for a large family since it has 6 bedrooms.

This was a great house for a reunion with friends. Plenty of rooms and beds for a large group. And the hot tub and deck are great.

This home was perfect for a family gathering in Seattle. We thoroughly enjoyed the deck and ate several meals outside. Great location to access lots of Seattle activities. It is on a busy street, so we appreciated that each bedroom had some type of cooling device that helped provide not only air flow, but also covered up the street noise. (We live in the country!) Just a note, home does have steps for access whether the front door or back patio. The Host were amazing to work with!

This property was perfect for our needs. We brought family into town for a new baby blessing. The location was perfect, the accommodations were great and we will try to use this property again if needed for another family gathering

We had all five of our kids (mostly grown, many with spouses) and all five grandkids in one place here. One daughter, spouse, and toddler lived locally and came to visit daily, the rest slept here and we had plenty of room. The beds are very comfortable. The hot tub was a wonderful plus that provided hours of relaxation and fun, even when it rained. We had to get creative about blocking the stairs, you might want to bring baby gates. The kitchen is well stocked and the table is huge. Safeway is walking distance for groceries. We’ll be back!

This was a great place to stay with my partner and our 1 year old. We loved the variety of rooms to allow us to find what worked best for each of us, from bed style, temperature, and noise factors. The air conditioning and heating units were helpful for the temperature swings of a warm Seattle day and cooler night. The amenities were great and host communication was perfect. We really enjoyed our stay!

Very accommodating. Plenty of towels and linens. My only suggestion would be to supply beach towels for the hot tub. We felt guilty using the clean white towels. We apologize for the noise but I guess when you have an outdoor jacuzzi and a bunch of people who haven’t seen each other in a while it will get a bit noisy.

With 6 bedrooms, the 8 of us were able to spread out and enjoy privacy as well as family gatherings. The location, while somewhat north of downtown, allowed us to easily access I-5, and get to the various wedding related events. The off street parking was ample, and necessary in most of Seattle.

House worked very well for all of us! Had a great time, would definitely stay there again!

The convenience of this property to downtown and all the sights was fantastic. There were a bunch of beds and bedrooms and plenty space to hang out and relax. The deck was fantastic for our morning coffee and breakfast. We appreciated all the portable AC units to keep the bedrooms cool enough to sleep during the heatwave we experienced!

Family Wedding
Great accommodations for a large family. Nice to have all my adult children and their spouses under one roof. The place was very comfortable. Plenty of places to spend time together or take a break. Kitchen had everything we needed. We had plenty of hot water for the showers before the wedding. The hot tub was great after a long day of site seeing or hiking.

Perfect place for large groups
The owners were very responsive and accommodating. Location was great - close to my daughter's place and to the light rail. Lots of beds for our party of 12 with ample parking. The house was very clean. Unfortunately we didn't have time to use the jacuzzi and the outside grill. Would stay here again if we travel with a large group.

Many bedrooms
We had a group of 10 people, and so the availability of 6 bedrooms was amazing! There was also plenty of space for hanging out and relaxing.
