About this house rental
Estancia Tranquility (Christiansted)- Awake to the bird songs of paradise and our spacious comfy home away from home! Located in a peaceful community, this clean, fully furnished 2bed /2 bath apartment (upper unit of pvt 2 family home) is situated on a corner lot, close to a hospital, Sunny Isle shopping center, Home Depot, restaurants and a 10 min. drive to the airport; approx. 15 min to beaches. There is free parking (rental car recommended). Perfect for business travelers, couples and small families. Relax and recharge!

HOUSE MANUAL for Guests:
None of the windows on the front side of the house can be opened (5 windows on East side of house as you enter the front door). Both sliding glass doors (living room and dining room) can be opened for air to circulate.
For optimal air flow the front door can be propped open with the yellow brick, left in front of the house. (The white metal screen door can be locked for safety while the front door is open).
The mini balcony door can also be left open for added air circulation as it has a screen door. (**If it starts to rain, or high winds pick up, this door should be closed.)
The sliding glass door in the living room can be opened as well for the optimal circulation of air, BUT MUST BE CLOSED AND LOCKED IF GUESTS LEAVE THE HOUSE. SAME WITH THE FRONT DOOR, AND MINI TERRACE DOOR. A fee of $400 will be assessed through VRBO, if the property is left unlocked at any time while guests are off property and $150, if key to property is lost or host needs to assist with re-entry due to guest negligence. The windows to the South of the front door, (3 windows in living room that face the neighbor to the right of the house) can be left open from the top at all times. (They rarely take in rain as well when there are rain showers.)
-Manuals for all kitchen equipment, etc. can be found in the "manual" folder found on the shelf behind the bar counter in the kitchen.
-The dishwasher can be run when full to capacity and set to normal wash cycle. Just put the pod in the detergent basin, close the cover, close the dishwasher door and press "start".
The laundry room is downstairs by the 2nd apartment. We have provided a basket and detergent for your use on the bottom of the wicker shelf, near the front bedroom.
While in common spaces such as laundry room, COVID-19 CDC Protocol is to be followed. Masks must be worn in these areas. Any guest found in violation of this rule will be assessed a fee of $50.
Please do not disturb the tenants downstairs or knock on their door. If the washing machine and/or dryer are in use, kindly return at a later time to use the facility. Also, be sure to follow all instructions/signs on machines.
Our tenants are on the lower unit. Please do not be disrespectful or disruptive to their peace and tranquillity, as they will not be to yours. No disruption to their peace or safety will be tolerated.
If you would like cleaning done during your stay, we have a housekeeper that can be contacted for you. The fee for this service is separate from the fees of the stay and are made directly to the housekeeper.
If your stay is longer than 1 week, please note we have “real” plants (office space, living room, front bedroom.) Please let us know if the house keeper can come in and water them (no fee to guest) or if guests (you) would be so kind to water 1x per week. Thanks in advance.
