Employees were very helpful
4.1
Very quiet, good WIFI, lots of parking space
4.1
Great accommodations. Needs more light on the hallway steps leading up to room. During check out, was asked about the stay and thanked for staying at the resort
4.1
Pool was being cleaned during the entire time I stayed there, but good thing that there was the beautiful beach nearby to swim in.
4.1
The bathroom was filthy, and the kitchen was dated. The TV wasn't working, and there was no security. The green areas were poorly maintained. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
4.1
A lot of people just walking around not safe and no one in the rentals
4.1
It was hard to get a staff to help you, room floor was dirty, the property need to cut the grass. But most of all, the staff was not around
4.1
The suite was very spacious and the view was beautiful. But the WiFi didn’t work. One of the balcony doors didn’t lock. The knives had bit marks around the plastic handle. The bolt lock on the room door wasn’t secure. The bed was very spacious but the sheets had minor stains. We loved the staff everyone was soooo nice and accommodating; great vibes. I feel the rate doesn’t reflect the property conditions but I made the best of it.
4.1
The location is nice, right in front of the beach but it’s not clean, at least in the rooms.

Very nice hotel to stay at on St. Croix. Excellent staff, great food, very nice rooms. I like to smaller quaint hotels and this one did not disappoint. I'd recommend it to anyone.

This was the worst filthy propert that Expedia recommended! Do not book this hotel and do not use Expedia..they will lie! Only to get the sale not caring of the quality or value your getting for your vacation investment

Your staff was amazing
Chandelle was the best
Anthony was great too

Lack of pool floaties, no music by actual pool area, pool had quite a lot of debris in it all the days we stayed there

I wanted to like this hotel. The location was beautiful, right in beach! Everything else was disappointing. Room was dirty, only one lounge chair, (we were told that is all we get). There were no mugs or cups in room for coffee. We had to find a broom and sweep our floor and patio. Besides when I checked in, I never saw a single person working at desk or in housekeeping. The shampoos were empty.
I truly want to like this place and it has great potential. My hope is the owners read this and at least get the basics right- clean, chairs for two, mugs, shampoo stocked.

The property is beautiful.
I stayed in the bungalow and never enjoyed such a beach experience before!
4.1
The view, was perfect. Location good.
Poor maintenance, outdated and dirty. Did not receive any extras as described.

I arrived to the hotel around 8:30pm. The room I got when I first arrive was horrible. First off the lighting was not good in the room. Then the balcony door didn’t open and the TV didn’t work. Also the refrigerator and microwave was rusty. This was in Bldg B on the first floor. I then complained and was moved to another room and that TV did not work and instead of having a king size bed (which I requested) this had two beds which costed less via expedia. I paid more for the king so now I’m in a room that cost less than what I paid for upfront at Expedia. I’m really pissed now. This second room was also in Bldg B. The next day I’m moved again. This room is was in Bldg A. It was finally decent but only was a queen bed. Again not what I paid for but I let it go as I’m tired of moving and decided to let Expedia know. They refunded me the difference in the room prices. This hotel really need to fix their rooms. Also they need to exterminate because there was a roach in the bathroom that I took a picture of in Bldg A. The Palms need to do better!!!

If I could give this “resort” zero stars, I would! The rooms are extremely dirty. You definitely need shoes on to walk in your room and in the bathroom/shower. The furniture in the room is very dated, dinged up and old. Maid service never cleaned our room. There are no phones in the room, so we had to walk from our building to the lobby every time we needed towels. The staff said they had a shuttle to take us from the lobby to the hotel room, but it was never available. There is mold everywhere through the room and the balcony is very dirty - you can’t even sit on the balcony lawn chairs. The beach access is a scam! While you can walk to the beach, you definitely can’t get in the water, unless you want to walk over all of the dead coral and seaweed. You HAVE to have a car to get around from the hotel, because it’s in such a remote area. The food and drinks at the restaurant are decent, but very overpriced. The “gift shop” is an absolute joke! The manager is rude and incompetent and talks to her staff like they are children. Just overall, this place is terrible. Stay at the King Christian instead!
4.1
It was located right close to a beautiful beach and the restaurant and bar wear very nice and attentive and expensive.
4.1
This was a short business stay. I like staying on the beach. Unfortunately this time there was no TV or internet in room. The staff is very nice. The room buildings need some TLC. I appreciate the amount of maintenence required on the ocean is a huge. It is a little pricey considering the issues.
4.1
Excellent location and quiet surroundings.

Staff was courtious and very helpful. Cottage on beach was great
4.1
The view from the room.
4.1
I enjoyed the cleanliness of the room and comfort
4.1
The property was not as it stated it would be. This is more of a hotel than a resort. Staff was great, property was terrible.
4.1
Loved the staff. They were super nice and accommodating. Wish the restaurant had more choice. The beach was very rocky couldn’t really swim there , but good for going on walks
4.1
The entire place was breathtaking, the manager and her staff fabulous the most helpful staff I have ever seen. I highly recommend this place for a restful and breathtaking visit. Sincerely from the bottom of our hearts Thank You so much!!!!!!!

Stayed at The Palms at Pelican Cove despite some negative reviews online. (Considering you can't please everyone). The overall facility was nice--staff was extremely friendly and helpful with whatever our needs. Disappointment was the seaweed on beachfront. Could not get in the ocean and nothing was mentioned of this seasonal occurrence on any travel site, etc. Would not have gone to this resort if we'd known ahead of reservation. The buildings, room and grounds need some TLC and noticeable repairs, which, since we seemed to be the only ones staying there, could of been addressed. TV was out the entire week we were there, which was another disappointment. Overall-if you want a quiet, smaller, centrally located-on the beach resort, this is an OK resort. If repairs were done-upkeep kept up and no seaweed it would be a great resort.

The staff was friendly. The property was beautiful. Only one restaurant but the food (dinner: chicken fettuccine alfredo/breakfast: waffles with Strawberries) I got was really good but my husband wasn't a fan of his food (dinner: steak had no flavor and the potatoes were cold/ breakfast: eggs, toast, home fries and asked for 2 pancakes but one got 1). Housekeeping did our room twice out of the 3 full days we was there, did a great job. The tv (cable) did not work the whole time we was there. I ask to have it fixed but the maintenance guy was off on Sunday, he would be back on Monday but never did anything about it to fix it. We didn't worry about it took much. We arrived on a Saturday, the schedule said the fire dancers would be there but the lady at the desk said they wouldn't be, just on Wednesday, we was leaving Wednesday so we didn't get to see the show. Overall experience was good.
4.1
View was amazing, resort was clean and orderly.
Cable TV wasn’t working, nothing to watch after dark. freshly painted floors were slippery when it was wet. The sliding patio door didn’t lock.

The friendliest, sweetest and most helpful staff of any place I’ve ever stayed at. Our room was tastefully decorated and spotless clean. Just steps from the beach! Very quiet and relaxing. The restaurant and bar and pool area is beautiful! Food was excellent! I saw many complaints about slow service. Part is simply Island time! Those people need to relax and enjoy! If you need fast go to McDonalds. Wednesday is Caribbean night. Moko Jumbie and fire dancers. What a marvelous treat! Entertainment many nights as well. New management took over recently and they are doing an AMAZING job! The double whammy of hurricanes and Covid took its toll on the island but it is very well along in recovery. We stayed at the Palms in 2018, and the improvement now in 2023 is wonderful. I can’t emphasize enough what a pleasure spending 10 days there was. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!!!!

interior of the room was a an improvement from last time. As always some employees go above an beyond to take care of the Customers, but others could be happy if they don't have any customers. The bathroom facilities need an improvement, Not having hot water in the shower was not nice and having the stick of the shower faucet falling all the time was not amusing.
Time has no meaning if office open at 7 AM and closes at 9PM, it should be as advertised.
Reported a Safety Hazzard in my balcony that almost caused me to fall from the second floor when the Varanda broke because the rotten wood and still no reply or interest to know more details.

Would not recommend, needs a ton of work. Beach is very rocky.

Staff is very friendly! Hotel needs some tlc.

The palms is a very nice place to stay for the price. The room itself was awesome. Had a balcony with two beach chairs that overlooked the ocean. The room had two queen beds that were soooo comfortable and clean. The room also had a fridge, freezer, a microwave, a tv that had good channels but was pretty fuzzy. The only thing I don’t like about the room was there was no outlets to charge your phone. The only one we could find was in the bathroom which was a little inconvenient. The bathrooms were very clean and provided everything you needed for your stay. The restaurant on the property has such good food! BUT expect to have very slow service and wait atleast an hour for your food to come out every time. If your looking for something more relaxing and low key, this is definitely the place, but if you want more of like a lively, fun experience, you might want to stay somewhere closer to the boardwalk or something.
4.1
It’s own private beach having breakfasts, lunch and dinner. The different events every night and the Mother’s Day event was beautiful.
4.1
There was mold on the bathroom ceiling and walls.
Dead baby flies on the lamp shades. The light bulb for our patio light was burnt out and I requested a new bulb twice and they never replaced the old bulb. The lock for the patio door was corroded and rusty.
The grounds could have been better kept.
We only ate once at the the restaurant. Our food was served cold.
Bathroom located in pool area was disgusting! Pool tiles missing and the pool was dirty.
Location for the hotel was amazing!
Management should pay better attention to detail! Needs some TLC, if so The Palms could be a great place.
4.1
Bar and wait staff was def on island time…Crystal at the front desk was awesome. Room was great.
4.1
This property is overrated. It is not 3-1/2 Stars. The rooms are clean, cool and well maintained but the value declines from then on!
The staff was completely clueless about my VIP upgrades. Also, not too friendly.
I received NO champagne. I asked… the attendant knew nothing about the offering.
I had to request the advertised upgrade after seeing my room #29. Minimal Ocean view.
The sheets are below college grade. The wifi was weak in the B building.
There are no telephones in the rooms. The cable TV doesn’t have Sport channels. I couldn’t watch the NBA playoffs!
There is NO GYM. The beach was never combed for the entire week. There was seaweed everywhere.
Most of the beach is very rocky with coral 10-15feet from the shore.
