About this house rental

This is the perfect house for your getaway with family and/or friends. You will fall for its 180-degree oceanview. This vast property of 7 bedrooms and 9 bathrooms offers you everything you need to offer you the dream vacation that you've always wanted.
Outside, you can enjoy the view from one of the 3 terrasses. There is a grill and all the outdoor furniture. Going down some stairs, a nice in-ground heated pool awaits for you. You can always opt for the relaxing hot tub. Later, you can go down a few more stairs to sit around the fire pit, just beside the ocean. During the day, you can escape and walk on the rocks by the ocean. There is also a lawn around the house with a fenced area where your dogs can play safely.
Inside the house, you will have lots of space. There is one bedroom on the first floor that is made especially for handicapped people with its own private adapted bathroom.
There are two bedrooms in the basement, where a game area with pool table and air hockey are at your disposal.
On the second floor, you will find the other 4 bedrooms, three of them with king size beds.
There are 9 smart tvs in the house (4 of them with cable boxes).
There are two sets of washer/dryers, 2 dishwashers, a Keurig machine on every floor, etc.
You basically only need to bring your clothes and food and you will be in paradise!

*The heated pool is seasonal. We normally open it in May and close it in September.

**The hot tub is however functional all year round.

Our second time here and the family (two families, 4 kids and grandparents) had a great time. So much room in the house, such perfect views, great pool and fire pit, walking to town and beach.

There were 15 of us, from age 10 to 82 and it was spectacular. Time to be with family members in an environment of peaceful settings and outstanding views can easily be achieved in this gorgeous home. We are looking forward to returning next year.

Our family stayed at Steve and Desni’s place in York for a week this summer. The home was exactly as described and the pictures didn’t do justice to the views and the thoughtful layout of this home. The three primary bedrooms on the second floor share a sitting area with coffee station, laundry and mini fridge. There is also a balcony. It was a perfect retreat for the 3 couples to start their day away from the rush of teens and kids in our family. The first floor bedroom was perfect for the guest who brought his dog. On the topic of pets, the home had a great fenced side yard so we never worried about him getting lost. It is rare to have a house of this caliber that accepts pets, and even more rare to have a house that accepts pets be as clean as this one was! You would never know he was there. The location of the house is perfect - a short walk to the action of Short Sands Beach or a longer walk to Long Sands Beach. We enjoyed both places throughout our stay, in addition to side trips up and down the stunning Maine coast. I’d highly recommend this home for families or groups of families.

Upon arrival, the mood is set for the week. Amazing views, large rooms, lots of outdoor seating and firewood at the fire pit, plenty of bath and pool towels, and first day provisions of soap and shampoo are included as well. There was also plenty of paper towels, toilet paper and even detergent for laundry and dishwashing. Everyone in my family of 15 had an amazing time in York Beach at this beautifully located home.

The house absolutely blew us away as we entered for the first time, it’s even better and bigger in person!! And the views actually took our breath away. We had a couple minor issues but hosts were very easy to communicate with and resolve immediately. We had our wedding here and hosted about half our guests at the house and everyone fell in love with it. It made for the perfect backdrop for our big day(s). Hosts were also very helpful leading up to our stay with all of our questions and had helpful suggestions. Wish we could come back immediately!

Perfect for a large group. Stunning views, massive bedrooms, so many bathrooms! Loved this property. Perfect for a winter stay since there’s so much space you don’t need to go out too much. Only problem was the firewood isn’t covered, so when it rained on Friday we couldn’t use the fire pit Saturday, so move some aside if you see rain in your forecast!

We stayed the the house to treat our colleagues to both a retreat and special holiday celebration. It was absolutely perfect. The view is spectacular, the house is perfectly adorned and equipped, and the owners could not be more accommodating to our needs. It’s a stunning home in a stunning location that’s also approachable and comfortable. Highly recommend for groups of family, friends or colleagues for a perfect Maine escape! We loved it!

Fabulous weekend spent at this wonderful home! The location, the amenities and the spectacular views!!! Couldn't have asked for a more perfect getaway. Walk to the beach, walk to the lighthouse or just stay put, cook a meal in the extremely spacious kitchen and catchup around the amazing firepit, all while you enjoy the sound of the ocean. The sunrises & sunsets were amazing.We will very likely head back very soon! Cheers from Canada!

This property is extremely beautiful! The views are incredible! It was a great place for a large group of people. Plenty of sleeping areas and lots of bathrooms. Everyone was very comfortable! The kitchen was well equipped! It was located so we could easily get to the community and other sites!

While the weather didnt exactly cooperate (fog and mist until lunchtime) - the availability of the heated pool and hot tub let us enjoy as much as time outside as we could. And with room the entire family, celebrating Mom's 80th birthday was a complete success!

Our family had a wonderful stay. The house was perfect. During our time in Maine, the weather was very cold and rainy and the house was the perfect refuge from the storm. The views were magical as we watched the huge ocean waves. We all had a wonderful time and hope to return to the house for a future vacation. .

The house is beautiful with absolutely amazing views. Everything was very clean and fully stocked with everything needed. The kitchen was well equipped with everything needed to cook dinner for 10. The rooms and bathrooms in the house are much larger than they appear in the photos. We had plenty of space for teens, tweens, adults and seniors to all have their own space. The decks have fabulous views and ample furniture. The hot tub was a great bonus. The kids and even adults loved climbing on the rocks below. Our dogs enjoyed the fenced in dog area as well as the prime location within walking distance to the town of York Beach and the Nubble Lighthouse. We visited lots of local areas Ogunquit, Kennebunkport, Kittery, Portsmouth, Portland and even to Sunday River for some Spring skiiing. There are lots of restaurants and shopping nearby and overall just a beautiful area for hiking, walking or exploring by car. We have rented a few homes for Spring Break and this was one of favorite houses and locations to visit and make memories with our family.

We were looking for an extended weekend getaway to spend quality time together cooking, drinking some wine and enjoying lovely surroundings. This house fully lived up to ( and indeed exceeded...) its end of the bargain. What a great place for all of the above. One additional thing that we had not fully appreciated from the pictures in the profile is how spacious the rooms are. We expected space of course, but the bedrooms and common areas are actually very generously proportioned. The kitchen was perfect for group preparations and dining together, and the amenities are all in great shape and ready for use. We will definitely try for an even longer stay next time.

We just spent a week at Steve’s house for my father’s birthday party. The views were fabulous from every window, and the house was impeccably clean and well stocked with everything we needed and beyond. Everyone (from 8 to 80 years old) had a fantastic time. I highly recommend this place. Can’t wait to come back for a summer vacation!

This property is absolutely gorgeous and exactly as advertised. We spent 4 days here with many friends and family for our wedding. The wedding was at another location, but this house is so beautiful it could have easily taken place on the property. Our group included adults, one teenager and 6 kids and we had a fabulous time. There are plenty of king beds, more kitchens than anyone could ever use and a wonderful game room. The views are breathtaking from every room. The owner was kind and responsive. When we arrived, the propane tanks for the patio heaters were empty. I sent an email to the property manager and a very sweet maintenance person arrived within 1/2 hour with new tanks (late on a Friday night!). I would recommend this property to anyone, we will definitely be staying here again. Thank you for this amazing experience!!

This house is magnificent and the views are breathtaking. I have never seen anything like it. If you are thinking about renting this house, do it! We rented this house for a weekend getaway. There were 16 of us, and there was more than enough space for us to sleep and live comfortably for the weekend. The common spaces were great places to spend time together, and the bedrooms were very private. They had the most comfortable beds and pillows I had ever slept on. The sunrise over the water in the morning is absolutely stunning to watch. I would recommend bringing an eye mask if you a a light sleeper. There are blinds, but there is still a lot of light that enters the eastern bedrooms in the morning. We were planning on going out, but decided to just stay at the house because we had such a wonderful time there. The hot tub was an added bonus and the fire pit was convenient and easy to use. Honestly, everything in this house was easy to access and navigate. We had one small issue with a breaker flipping, Steve and Desni were quick to respond and help us figure out the solution. There was everything you need in the kitchen. Serving bowls and glassware were a little scarce, but we easy improvised. We had also brought our own branded glasses for the weekend, which really helped. I can’t stop talking about this magical place and can’t wait to visit again!

Our stay at this beautiful property exceeded our expectations. The location and amenities were top notch. The owner was so responsive. Perfect set up for all of us including our 2 dogs. In addition the weather was fabulous. We loved the house, heated pool, and location. Spectacular sunrises. The bedrooms are so spacious and comfortable. The layout of the house is well thought out.
