Cute house in a great neighborhood that is very close to town. Lots of stairs. Wish there would have been more flexibility with the check in time (3PM) and check out time (10AM).

Property as described. Very clean. Comfortable. Enjoyed the decks and views, just wish we didnt have so much rain to enjoy it even more! (The covered patio doesnt protect from rain well). Close proximity to town, "easy" walk in regards to distance (which is why we chose this place) however very steep walk home. Disclaimer: we're from florida so any incline seems steep, haha, but the road and driveway were def very steep! Made for a good workout. Most enjoyed bringing our two dogs for very minimal fee, which we appreciate! Loved our stay, enjoying the house, charming town, and nearby naturesque trails!

Overall we enjoyed our stay here. The home was huge and we loved that we were able to walk into town (but note that both the driveway & the street the house is on are quite steep!) and the porch is so lovely. The house wasn’t super clean & we had some issues communicating with the host/company with a particular issue, but overall we had a nice stay & would probably stay here again!

Amazing mini vacation for my family and I. Enjoyed the open space within the house.

The house was clean and roomy. There were plenty of towels and comfortable beds. The location was very close to downtown. We are repeat customers in renting this house. We plan to try and get it next year also. 10 out of 10.

We enjoyed our time at this property. Very clean, easy access and great location. Would recommend this property to friends & family. Looking forward to another trip next year.

This rental had comfortable furniture, plenty of quality towels, dishes, cutlery & within walking distance to town. Internet service was good. However, it needs a deep cleaning & attention to some maintenance issues - for instance, none of the windows opened. It would have been helpful to have had some type of home book to guide us on the particulars of this house.

This property is located at the edge of town and close to restaurants and shopping.

The house wreaks of smoke from the fireplace. VRBO and the property manager would not refund our stay.

My wife and I were in town for the Highlands Motoring Festival. The home is close enough town that we could walk to the Motoring Festival and not have to fight for a parking space downtown. The house was well equipped and the location convenient. Our only negative was constant noise from a house under construction directly behind the home. Nothing the owner can do about it, but if you are wanting a quiet stay you may be disappointed. They were even working early on Sunday morning. Roads in the subdivision are extremely narrow and we had to pull off the road regularly to allow vehicles going the opposite direction to pass.

We truly enjoyed this property and the location is very convenient to downtown Highlands which offers great shopping and dining.

Location is excellent but you can definitely tell this property is run by a management company. House was clean except for the inch of dust on the windows over the master bed. Upstairs TV did not work and after letting Dale know, all he could say was “they were very sorry.”
Everything outside was covered in pollen, so we did not take advantage of the outside seating. Only one burner on the grill worked so we changed our minds on cooking outside.
Ample towels, beds slept great. Overall a 3 out of 5. Pantry was not stocked.
Kiddos wanted to watch March Madness but since the upstairs TV did not work, we all crammed downstairs to watch.
This could be a 5 star house if it was managed by the owners or someone with a personal vested interest.

This house is bigger than the pictures looked. The living space isn’t huge, but has plenty of beds and a great porch! Sadly, the porch furniture was all blown around from the storm before we got there, but other than that - we had a blast!

So convenient to downtown Highlands. The kids love the 3rd floor bunk beds. Definitely a private, peaceful spot.

Great getaway with the family. Kids loved the bunk bed loft space. Great location very close to all the downtown activity. Did have some TV/internet issues but not a deal breaker.

This property was spotless and well stocked for a week away. Easy walk into town but yet far enough out that made you feel like you were in the woods. An amazing wrap around porch with ample seating, was perfect for enjoying the cool weather. I would definitely stay here again.

Tree Top Getaway
We were four retired ladies from Florida on a Girl’s Trip to escape Florida’s summer heat. This beautiful home gave us a perfect place to relax and rest between all our activities; Hiking, shopping, dining, etc. We most appreciated the quick response from the management company when we awoke one morning to a swarm of hornets from a fallen nest. Within 10 minutes someone arrived and took care of it, now that’s great service!

Fourth of July in Highlands
Good location….nice porch. The rug in the den was pretty dirty and needs replacing. It would not have worked out for more than 1 couple as you have to climb to the top floor in the bunk room where the second bathroom is. The skylight upstairs leaked and the master tub was very slow to drain. Also the garbage can outside was completely full of garbage on our arrival. Don’t know when it was last dumped. Bring a blow dryer when you come…we had to go buy one.

Mountain summer getaway
We just arrived home from a nice mountain getaway with our family. This home was nice and spacious and very close to downtown Highlands. I emailed with the property manager about several things that were wrong with the house during our stay and still have not received any communication. Overall the house was great and convenient, but would love to have better service when things are wrong.

Highlands getaway
the property was very nice and located in a very nice neighborhood close to town. it was pet friendly and that was a real plus for us. we had a few minor issues but the property manager was very responsive and helpful and i think that was a real plus. my only negative would be if there were 4 or more adults you would have to share a bath on the 2nd level or use the full bath on the 3rd level. i would rent this house several times a year with my grandchildren if it had an additiional bath. the 3 rd level is great for kids with 2 twin beds and 4 bunk beds and full bath.
House was very clean when we checked in.

Very cute loft space!
We loved the upstairs loft space for the family sleepover we had one of the nights. We experienced a couple of issues with internet and heat, but overall the location was clean and tidy, and the management company and owners were responsive and helpful!

Nice but could use some TLC
This house is in a convenient location in a neighborhood that is nice to walk around with the dogs. The outdoor deck is great and would be amazing in nicer weather. We couldn't find the advertised fire pit, which was too bad. Maybe it was too much to expect little bars of soap, but there were none. No problem, we got some down the street. The shower handle fell off in my hand when I turned on the shower. Luckily, it popped back on. The sheets and bedding were clean. The kitchen had all the utensils, appliances we needed. Overall, it was a good experience. We were definitely comfortable. The upstairs area was amazing for the kids!

Wonderful house!
My family of 6 celebrated our daughter's birthday here and we loved our stay. There are a lot of stairs as the listing states but we had no issue with them at all. Our girls loved the 3rd floor bedroom! We enjoyed the deck and the fireplace and it was so nice that wood was there for us. The in town management was amazing! They were exceptionally responsive and we were so pleased! Just because of them, we will book again!

Could not have been happier!
Wonderful home !
very well stocked and supplied!
In great condition!
cozy ,comfy beds!
The upper 3rd floor level was fun bright and open with bunkbeds & a
large sectional sofa gave us plenty of room to gather for popcorn and movies., as the downstairs living space was small but cozy. Upgrading to a Keurig coffee maker would’ be nice.
Lots of stairs outside & inside ,so if you have anyone mobility challenged it would not be the rental for you.
But for us it was well worth the stay -
the location was fantastic!
Would certainly stay here again!
P.s. When we arrived the driveway was full of leaves and the management company sent someone over almost immediately to completely clear the driveway and stairs to the home - in the rain!
We were very grateful!
