The little house was absolutely great. From the location which was perfect to the cleanliness and cosiness. We would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay in this charming house. The town/ Village of Glouschester was cute. We were after a place close to Williamsburg, the drive fine for a long weekend and met our needs. Thanks!

Could not have been better - clean, near highway but still quiet, on beautiful historic grounds. Homey, eel-appointed and welcoming. Be sure to walk around the church grounds including the garden you can see from the house.

Lovely home and beautiful setting. The trails around the churchyard are very nice and many old growth trees to admire. I look forward to my next stay! I enjoyed the amenities of fresh towels, linens, paper products and a bag of ice in the fridge.

Loved the sunroom, porch and yard. We got in late and there weren't lights on the porch to find the way in, found it around back later. No TV or internet, fyi.

Clean and cozy! Close to Main St., but far enough away to be in the country. Would definitely do it again!

Charming and clean home. Slight reduction for lack of lighting checking in at night. Aside from that, this home surpassed expectations. Looking forward to staying in the future.

My wife is from this area, and we normally will stay at a local hotel. This trip was a special visit as my wife's dad had passed away a little over a year ago, so I wanted to have a quite peaceful location that felt more at home. This location fit perfect. Yes, it's an older house with an older set up, however it was just what peaceful means. The location is perfect for trips to wherever you want to go. Fun Fact: One morning I was looking out the kitchen window and low and behold Punxsutawney Phil was staring at me from the field next Door...lol.. BIG Ground Hog. also, squirrels in back yard that are fun to watch sitting on the back porch in the morning while eating breakfast. Great Job on this set up, we will use this one again for sure 😊

The house was Very clean, pet friendly and quiet. We enjoyed walking the grounds. This property was fully stocked with all we needed. The staff at the church were very friendly. We will most certainly stay here again. It is a plus to know all proceeds are returned to the community.

Loved the 1910 bungalow and the way cottage was decorated. Thank you for leaving the back light on so easy for us to get inside late at night. I only have one suggestion please provide shampoo and conditioner.

Cute house, definitely a little shabbier than appears in photos, but had everything we needed. Hefty fees (plus pet fee) for an older house with no Wi-Fi or TV. Otherwise, great location, well-stocked, comfy beds, great host!

Perfect!
This home was exactly what we were looking for, it had everything we needed for our stay and more. The home is cozy and comfortable and well stocked with all of the essentials. Our kids had a blast exploring outside, playing board games, doing puzzles and catching fire flies in the evenings. And the location can't be beat, it was just 30 mins to both Busch Gardens and Water Country USA, for us it was so much better than staying in a hotel. The kids had room to play and the porch is was perfect for coffee in the mornings and drinks in the evenings. All in all we would definitely stay again. We were not able to explore all of the church grounds but what we did explore was beautiful. Thank you for sharing this little gem and all of the history that comes with it!

Cozy cottage great for pets!
The cottage was very clean and had everything we needed except tv and wifi. I, apparently, missed the part where it mentioned that but we were able to stay busy and were so tired at the end of each day we didn't actually miss it. Lots of land around for our dog to explore and enjoy. The cottage is on a major highway but the house is set far enough away that most of the noise is muffled. My 10 year old enjoyed having access to the playground next door at the church and we enjoyed exploring the cemetary. Everything in downtown Gloucester Courthouse was very close as were grocery stores.

Great cottage
Place was clean, beds comfortable and close to Gloucester Court House and surrounding attractions. Check in process was a challenge due to confusion between VRBO and Evolve the management company. We had to call to get check in code. VRBO couldn't assist other than give phone number for management company. Seems there is a glitch between VRBO and Evolve. Place itself was great and as advertised.
