We loved the house. It was so nice. The views were amazing. We saw a dolphin! The house was so stocked with beach chairs and towels and everything one needs in a kitchen. We rented bikes and had a great time biking to the beach and shops. We would love to come again! The house was very clean including the sheets which I can’t say for the other VrBos we stayed at.

we came for the wedding of our granddaughter and needed a large comfortable home. we found it and so much more in this rental !! Everything was exactly as described. So clean with every and anything you would need to make your stay comfortable. Beautiful furnishings and the most comfortable beds ! Truly a wonderful rental....would absolutely stay here again !

Good: 4th of July Fireworks for the balcony Well stocked kitchen Clean pool Big family room Minnor issues: Ants in the upstairs bathroom Messy/ unkept closets and garage Air conditioning not working in upstairs bedroom (two twin bedroom) Chairs on upstairs balcony breaking Toilet seat in our room broken (upstairs bedroom) Bathroom door lock inoperable Sliding door (upstairs) difficult to use Very sloppy TV and internet wire routing in the downstairs bedroom. In the living room, it looked like someone used a hammer to make a hole for the TV wiring to go thru the wall Not enough garbage cans Refrigerator light and garbage disposal didn't work First floor toilet didn't flush as intended Mirror location in the bathrooms No kitchen towels Not enough bath towels

We LOVED this house! Clean and bright with lots of natural light and room for everyone. Direct access to the water and walking distance to the beach. Pool was on the small side but we could still play and fit everyone comfortably. 6 bathrooms made a huge difference. Loved the extra amenities like towels, laundry soap, pool toys and things you can’t pack when flying. Thank you!!

Property is actually 5 bedrooms, four full baths and two half baths. Very nice home and very nice neighborhood. Worked well for our group of 10. Conveniently located. Would definitely recommend for a larger group or family.

We specifically rented a house with a pool for the family to enjoy, but unfortunately, the pool was filled with algea growth & hair clogging the main drain. Most of the pool deck had mold and was a slip hazard. The upstairs tub would drain very slowly. The wifi did not work. It was just a disaster. I spent more time requesting to get all this fixed instead of enjoying the trip itself. After speaking to multiple reps, one offered us to downgrade from a 5 bedroom house to a 3 bedroom. We appreciate the offer, but it was not going to work for us. Things that got done.. Pool deck got cleaned, a back up wifi was brought in, drain-o was poured down the tub, and a pool guy finally showed up to "clean" the pool. Algea got brushed so water got very cloudy and greenish but hair ball in main drain was left behind. To say the least, pool water stayed cloudy the entire stay, health risk & not inviting. After all, pool was not able to be enjoyed. Ultimately I find it very irresponsible of the hosts who made this house "rentable" when it clearly lacked maintenance. I find it very unfair how we're expected to obeyed by these very strict rules or face a fine but yet the hosts can get away with renting us this unfit house with no repercussion. The least they can do is reimburse us ATLEAST 1 days worth of rental for this inconvenience. To whomever reads this review, Hosts, please feel free to reach out to me. I am very well willing to make changes to this review if you're willing to work withus

We had a wonderful stay for my Dad's 90th birthday.. The home has a nice pool on a big canal so the view is great. Very quiet neighborhood. Home has everything you could need, except Keurig. We would definitely rent again. Great for a reunion or family vacation.

My husband and rented this property for 3 weeks in 2022 and a month of February 2023. It is in a great location on the water in quiet neighborhood convenient to shopping and restaurants. Tiger Tail beach is short walk away with parking and public access. The outdoor pool and lanai area has been greatly enhanced this year with the addition of new grill and cushioned lounges. House has plenty of TV and good WiFi service. There is lots of space in this home with 4 bedrooms, could be 5 easily. Beds are very comfortable and the property management company Horizon is very responsive. The garage door and ice maker were not working upon arrival but were fixed the same day we called. The house is in need of some tender loving care. It is somewhat cluttered. The garage is almost unuseable for a car as it if filled with miscellanous old furniture and household items...and 3 bikes that were locked up and not available to renters which was odd. There is a old shower door standing in the garage for two years now that came off the master bath shower which has been replaced with a temporary shower curtain. The kitchen is very large but needs some updating for sure. The melamine cabinets are starting to peel and need repair of replacement. We had to buy 2 new frying pans ( and left them for the next guests!) as the non stick coating were badly chipped. Blinds on front door have been broken for 2 seasons. All input is coming from good place. We like the house and are going back next year.

We definitely enjoyed our time here. The house was walking distance to the beach (long walk). The property manager went above and beyond, -I had emailed asking if there was a mixer. The response was there was not, ~we were delightfully surprised to have a brand new one dropped off in time for Thanksgiving dinner.

Diplomat is a beautiful property. All finishes and decorations are almost out of a magazine. Place is kept immaculate and the rooms and beds, super comfortable. Book this place ASAP for your next Marco Island getaway!

Spacious and wonderfully located

We rented 590 Diplomat to vacation with our children and their spouses and 2 grandchildren (under 2 years old). The house was so clean and spacious. Although it is listed as a 4 bedroom we were able to use a small office space for one of the babies. The Location is perfect for walking to and from Tigertail beach i(which also has a playground) in between naps. It is also close to town and restaurants. I will definitely rent the house again if we go back to Marco.

Great location if you have a boat and want to fish the mangroves. Pool is very nice and overall we enjoyed our stay. Would choose this house and Marco Island again. For years we would rent home in Cape Coral. Great boating in that area but red tide was an issue. No issue here and fishing was good

The property was as described. There was plenty of room for everyone to relax. The heated pool was used a lot and enjoyed by everyone! There were plenty of extras that were used such as the cooler, pool toys and beach chairs. Great place for family time!

Everything was absolutely wonderful - the house was great and the location was perfect! It was a perfect family trip to relax and do some fishing on the dock and enjoying Marco Island! Our absolutely only minor complaint was that the furniture shown on the listing wasn't the same in the family room. We would've liked to have the couches that were shown instead of 1 small couch and individual chairs. But that was a minor detail that would not keep us from going back at all.

We really enjoyed our stay here, the pool was clean and relaxing, the home was spotless and plenty of room for 2 parents and 4 adult kids (ages 20+). The appliances seem to be new and everything worked great. The home was very comfortable and had plenty of towels, (mostly) plastic dishes (not sure why), could use a few more pots and pans, but there were lots of beach chairs, floats and umbrellas for our use, which was nice. The beds were quite hard, and not really very comfortable. That would be the only thing I would recommend to the owner to change out. The decor of the house is outdated, but the house itself is a gem, so you can overlook the decor. The walk to Tigertail Beach isn't far (to the entrance) and the neighborhood is pretty and quiet.

Great house and well represented in pictures. Pool area was relaxing and the house is quite spacious. The neighborhood is nice and quiet and the house is very well situated / close to everything. There are beach chairs in the garage so you don't need to rent them (and we left a beach umbrella there as well to add to the beach accoutrements). There are also a few coolers for beach use and beach towels (that were dropped off the day after we checked in). The only thing I didn't know (that probably should have been spelled out but wasn't) is that there is no cable TV so you will need to have a Netflix / Hulu account to watch TV. Great house - we would def rent again. Thanks for a wonderful stay!
