Everything was great, the only thing I suggest is getting more than one set of keys especially if being rented out to multiple people.

We contacted our host within the hour of our arrival and she met us there with keys in hand. She showed us the apartment and collected the city tax. The apartment itself was conveniently located and easy to find. The beds were comfortable, the place was clean. It actually had an apartment within the apartment which worked great for us as we were a party of seven. We did not spend much time in the apartment as we were up early and returned late but I would definitely recommend it!

The flat is gorgeous and has a lot of space to it. The style of the decor and furniture was nice as well. there were some challenges with details in the use of the space - such as: only having a single key for such a large space that accommodates 8, no towels for baths or the kitchen, beds were missing comforters, the stove needed some maintenance and pieces were not secured. Could improve some livability details.

The only positive for this property is the location. The property manager was over 1/2 hour late for our check-in, which caused us a ton of frustration wondering if we had accommodations. Be aware this apartment is on the 5th floor, a ton of stairs with no elevator, so bringing luggage up is extremely difficult. We did not have enough towels for our group, NO hot water the entire stay and there was black mold on the ceiling in the main bedroom. the rooms are extremely small.
Family members had to find other accommodations, they did not want to stay there. I sent 3 messages with pictures regarding our issues, when the property manager finally responded, we were already on our way out and my family was not comfortable having anyone enter the apartment when we were gone. The issues were never resolved. I messaged the host directly about our stay, their response was it was after check-in and nothing could be done.We were very disappointed in our stay. We wont be back to this poperty!

We had a great stay at apartment Leoni.
Vladimir was an excellent host and gave us some great local tips to eat and places to see. The apartment was in an excellent location, walking distance to all the attractions.

First, the good stuff - it's a great location and the apartment was nice and clean (though a bit strangely laid out). The difficulties came with the communication. It was hard to get in touch with the person who was meeting us to check-in and once we did, she wasn't able to answer our questions about the apartment, but only do the basic check-in procedure. It turned out that neither of the two washing machines worked and we were counting on them, since we packed light. We communicated this multiple times and finally got word back that the handyman was going to come...and he never did (we stayed there for 6 nights). We ended up having to go to the laundromat. The air conditioners also didn't work in the upper rooms, which they also didn't do anything about. It wasn't too hot while we were there (April), but it was still quite stuffy and I can't imagine how bad those rooms would be in the summer with no air conditioning. These problems didn't ruin our stay, but it makes it difficult to recommend this place.

Beautiful apartment, nicely refinished in a perfectly central location. Would stay here again anytime we are in Florence.

The house is absolutely amazing. Beds are comfy, towels huge and fluffy. Location is close to everything. 6 beds- 4 bedrooms. 3 with double/queen beds, 1 with 2 twin beds and a loft with another bed. Two washing machines and 2 kitchens. We did have to wait a bit for checkin despite a couple text attempts to pinpoint our arrival time. There are quite a few steps up to the apartment. Makes for a great view, but a little tiring after a day of sightseeing. Would recommend and stay here again.

Perfect location!!! Be warned over 70 steps to reach the apartment...worth the climb!

GREAT LOCATION! Clean apartment with room for the family (there were 10 of us travelling together). Only issue we had is that there were a lot of mosquitos (we did not expect that in February). Would stay there again for sure!

Two couples and one single, all +65. We enjoyed the location and the beautiful apartment very much. It was well furnished and very clean and everything worked. However, you have to walk up 100 steps to get to the apartment., no elevator. Carrying our bags was a major challenge. I wish this was made more clear to us. We also had an unfortunate situation where the door to the clothes washer locked up and would not open!
Clothes were mailed back to us after our trip ended. Thank you for that!

Minor maintenance needed for a spectacular location. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would stay again if in the area.

Rustic Charm but somewhat "tired". Lovely older building had issues with the Air Con in 1 room, no hot water in 1 bath, 1 faucet broken. Mgmnt responded I needed to send photos (which I did) & sent someone on 2 separate occasions but the hot water still did not work, AC was inconsistent in that room, and they never fixed the faucet at all. Since we were preparing for a wedding & needed everything to work, this was not the place for us & we moved. There are 72 steps up to apt, 2 spiral staircases to 3 of the 5 beds. Great location, quite street, walk to many sights & restaurants. Check-in was quick & it was during walk through manager realized air con did not work in bedroom & he called for service. Unfortunately, these issues were not resolved & when I asked for another apartment they replied nothing was available. They also did not offer to return to try to repair again, or help us find another location. (We were lucky to find another apt on our own nearby that worked well.)

Contact person that met us to let us in was very unprofessional; when we entered apt (AFTER 80 STAIRS) we asked what was upstairs, he said "I don't remember, why don't you go up and look". We also facetimed him and asked where wine openers were located and he did not respond. You will also need to provide your own dish soap, paper towels and toiletries. There was a tear on the master room bed sheet. It was also miserable with mosquitoes and flies in the apt.

Location, Location, Location
We loved the location. We were a family of 5 traveling and the space easily accommodated. My wife and I were in the Master with an en-suite. My 14 daughter was in the loft above the kitchen - she liked it up there. And our boys (18 and 20) had the rooms across the hall and were literally set up in their own apartment. This was perfect for them to be able to come and go as they pleased.
The unit is charming and eclectic. However, be warned, there are 5 flights of steep stairs required to enter the apartment from street level. Good for our family, but would be different for older visitors or those trying to carry a stroller up / down each day etc.
I would recommend this location.

Creativity and added features…
The property was wonderfully located. Some minor surprises; but overall a wonderful experience. Location was perfect and the decorations were an added feature. The host recommended two awesome restaurants!
