Bright, clean home. Well stocked kitchen. Quiet neighborhood. There's a very nice, peaceful path at the end of Doe that's through undeveloped woods. Loved the stay. Only 2 steps to the main floor with one bedroom on that floor which was good for my elderly mother. Not easy to find in the mountains! Very responsive and pleasant owner.

The property is in a great location for getting back to nature. Wonderful trails and great scenery. Lots of wildlife. Upstairs bathroom could use a new shower curtain liner. Guest bathroom downstairs had black mould on shower head. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Coming from Florida we were hoping to see snow. And the weather on Saturday did not disappoint!! This property is everything it shows in the VRBO listing. And we could not have enjoyed ourselves more!! As a bonus i was greeted by 2 beautiful deer in the front yard on Monday morning. They even stayed while I went to get my cell phone to take pics!! Thank you Kelly for a great stay!! Judi, Dawn, Jason, Leigh, Phebe, Kyleigh, Paxton and Ryder, Jaxx & Beckett!!

The host Kelly was great, prior to check in, during our stay and after we left. The property was great for our adult children, grandchildren (2&3) and pups! Located close by the slopes, great kitchen for cooking and entertaining , awesome fireplace with plenty of firewood. Already talking about booking next year! We even had snow on our first day. 5+stars

We had the best time for our weekend getaway with friends and family! Everything you could possibly need was in the cabin ready to use. We had two families with young children and everyone was comfortable and had a great trip! We definitely plan on returning!

We are from Central FL and saw the chance for our kids to see snow for the first time on the horizon. Family of 6 with our charcoal lab. We booked with Kelly Wednesday night for a long weekend. Friday-Monday. The house was AMAZING, very clean, and had a great layout. Communication was great with Kelly, check in and out was not a long process like other places we have stayed. She even let us add a day to our stay that’s how amazing this place is! Charcoal Lab love it here and this place being pet friendly I would give 6 starts if it would let me. From sitting on the back deck to sitting by the fireplace it’s very relaxing. We are normally a island, beach, and boat family. After our stay here we are adding the mountains to our lifestyle. We will definitely lt be back to stay at Kelly’s place.

My family and I stayed here along with our 2 dogs. The house was great - I’m check in and out was easy, house was clean, had plenty of space and was just minutes from beech mountain. Best part is the house was dog friendly with no fee, such a rare find and great find for those looking to bring their fur babies!

We had the best time skiing and coming back to this amazing house! It is the perfect location with stunning views, only minutes away from Beech Mountain Ski Resort. We enjoyed snuggling up by the fireplace, playing board games that are provided by the owner, and completely unplugging. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen is stocked with cooking dishware and utensils. Kelly is so attentive and responsive. Amazing host that truly cares! We can't wait to return next winter. We loved dining at Stone Walls and Sorrento's while in town!

What a great place to stay, minutes from the slopes and restaurants. Lots of room inside to hangout, watch TV or play some games. Finally a working fireplace, it was great to have a drink by after a day skiing. Great rear deck. Everything we needed was here, pots and pans that weren’t burnt and scratched, washer and dryer, plenty of dishes and a table big enough for all of us and then some. And a decorated Christmas tree as a finishing touch. Would definitely stay here again.

The property has 2 floors, one of the rooms is on the main floor with a bathroom Which was great for my parents, and at the same time it gives privacy. The space is well occupied with a large table for the whole family. It also has lots of games for the kids and the fire place was the cherry on top. It has plenty of covers to keep you warm during the winter and heating in each room. Stayed for 5 days for a family trip and Would definitely stay here again.
