It was a very beautiful house! We enjoyed the time of the home and how easy the host was to work with!

Stayed here with some friends for a long weekend. Annie was great with the communication. The location was 10-15 Uber ride from anything downtown. Historical district was pretty quiet at night. Backyard was perfect. We sat in lawn chairs, played bags (corn hole), and made a fire every night.

Annie’s place was wonderful! The house had everything we needed- the space, kitchen supplies, comfort, and so much more. Annie was easily reachable, communicative, and helpful with recommendations. She was super accommodating with luggage storage for a late evening flight and shared her newest project with us (which is so cool!). We will definitely be staying again the next time we’re in Louisville.

This place was perfect for our group of eight. The host is very communicative and helpful and the house has an amazing backyard area to hang out and enjoy the outdoors. Highly recommend!

Annie is an amazing host. Immediately after booking, she was already reaching out and providing tips and ideas for our visit and things to do in the area. The historical neighborhood is beautiful as is the house. It has so much character and had plenty of space for the multiple adults we had for our stay. There is a homeless population (like everywhere in Louisville) and high rate of petty theft. Take care with vehicles, don’t leave anything in them! (All of my belongings were stolen while there. In daylight.). Lots of fun breweries and local food joints in the area and just a quick drive or Uber away from 4th Street Live as well as the convention center. Super added bonus of having many amenities stocked in the home. Would absolutely stay again and highly recommend! Extra added bonus, the backyard neighbor is so kind, was nice to chat with and offered to be of help if we needed it (we didn’t, but good to know he was looking out for the property and us while there). Thank you, Annie!!

This property is stunning. Has the old charm we were looking for. Large enough to house our family (3 kids) and in-laws. This is our second time staying at this home. Highly recommend. Hosts are wonderful, great communicators, and truly want you to enjoy their space.

The house and backyard are beautiful. The owner is great to communicate with and provides everything anyone would need. We stayed for the Annual Farm Show and brought the farm worker family for an extremely enjoyable stay. Beds were comfortable, house was clean, backyard is huge for our dog to run and play, easy street parking, was close to the fairgrounds and great restaurants. Ordered breakfast each morning to go from Full Stop on our way to show, great food and service. Love The Fish House nearby for great fried fish. We hope to rent this house every year for the show and hope we can stay longer next time. Thanks for your hospitality!

Love this house! Clean, comfortable, beautiful, and welcoming. Great backyard. We stayed for our winter holiday and enjoyed the Victorian homes if the area for walks. Close to good Louisville adventures. The host helped with planning a perfect trip!

11 of us stayed just for 1 night after the big UK/U of L game. The duplex layout worked perfectly for our friend group as we had some early to bed folks and others who stayed up later. Plenty of space for us to spread out. 2 kitchens available but didn’t use the second kitchen. Cold evening during our stay but beautiful courtyard out back that would certainly be a great outdoor space when the weather is a little warmer.

We stayed for a week of bourbon tours. The location was perfect and the house was perfect for relaxing after our busy days on the bourbon trail. Annie is a great host and very accommodating. I highly recommend this property for any sort of visit to Louisville.

What a wonderful house! I would highly recommend staying here if you are looking at places in this area. This house had plenty of space for a lot of people and it had so much charm. It had two kitchens and a couple of decks outside to relax on and visit and drink morning coffee and tea. The newer kitchen upstairs was decorated and remodeled nicely. This house is older and had so much charm and was so well appointed. It had everything we needed for a few nights stay for a sister's stay. I would come back to Louisville just to stay at this house. SO if I ever do, I will definitely book this place. I didn't want to leave and wish we could have stayed much longer.

The house is amazing. Victorian with original trim and flooring and windows. AC in all bedrooms. 3 bedrooms upstairs with one bath. One bedroom downstairs with 1 bath. Plenty of hot water. 2 kitchens. Upstairs and downstairs connect with narrow steps - no handrails. Beds comfy. The best part was the convenience to everything Louisville has to offer no more than 10 minutes from most attractions and downtown. Convenient to I-65. Host very personable and communicates well with renters. Grill available for cooking. Outdoor seating/dining is beautiful.

This was a family vacation with our adult children/spouses. The house comfortably fit all 8 of us. Loved that there were 2 kitchens (late night pizza by the lower level people did not disturb the upper level people who were already in bed) We loved the back yard courtyard. We used the gas firepit in the evenings to sit and visit. Didn't use the large fire pit but did enjoy sitting in the chairs under the evening sky. The house is very close to downtown - only a little over a mile away. After dinner downtown one evening our kids walked back to the house easily. We did part of the Bourbon Trail and it was easy to get off I65 and back to the house each day. Great house for a larger group to stay. Good communication from/with the owner - easy check in. Comfortable beds.
*note the house would not be easily accessible for those with mobility issues as there are quite a few stairs.

If you’re searching for a property with lots of room and tons of character, don’t look any further. We had a few last minute cancellations in our group, but even with our anticipated group of 10 we would have been more than comfortable. Two kitchens gave us flexibility in the morning and lucky for us our weather was perfect so we could enjoy the patio out back. After booking was complete Annie made the rest of the process a breeze. I wouldn’t hesitate for a moment to book again if we go back to Louisville for a weekend

Our family really enjoyed this historic, beautiful home with creaky floors and stunning wood trim. Owners were super helpful suggesting activities to do with our young kids. Wish our trip was longer. Location is close to downtown Louisville and many bourbon trail destinations. Highly recommend.

We had three families for a total of 9 people, and several dogs. There was plenty of room, the house has lots of adorable details, and also lots of steps. Fortunately there is a bedroom on the main floor, so the person who has trouble with steps was fine. The back yard was nice for the dogs to stretch their legs, and we loved the gas firepit.

A group of 6 of us stayed here for a friends wedding. House was very spacious , rooms were great size . Had 2 kitchen areas which worked well for us too! Uber to downtown area was quick and easy . Plenty of places near by to check out as well!

This house has a lot of character; felt like staying in an old mansion. The staircases between the two joined units is a little odd, and you have to watch your head on one. The bedrooms are sumptuous and each has their own AC unit.

Thanks so much for a great experience on the 4th of July! Team H2O Elite was so excited to stay in your beautiful historic home. The house was full of rich history and the host really blessed us by allowing us to stay in the house for a basketball tournament!!

Graduation Night!
This house is Old Louisville is amazing! It sits beside an old church, and the back yard is very similar to a well kept English garden. It was beautiful! The house was very clean and spacious. It has the perfect combination of historic charm and gorgeous renovations. Annie was a delight to work with. Very accommodating and friendly. My family and I stayed here for a nursing graduation celebration. The night was so much better because we all were able to enjoy each other in the same, roomy space. We took a stroll to St. James Court which is only a half a mile away. Our night on the back patio was wonderful. Beautiful hanging lights, plenty of seating, and the gas fire pit was a plus! Downtown Louisville is about a five-minute drive away. It was perfect! We would love to come back again in the future!

Perfect Choice for our Group of 11 Adults
We were in Louisville for a volleyball tournament and stayed for four nights at this house. Everything worked perfectly for us and we couldn’t recommend it more strongly. Great host, everything was made easy for us. Location was perfect. We really enjoyed the beautiful courtyard with the gas fireplace and we used all three separate outdoor spaces. We enjoyed the historical charm of this classic Louisville home. Beds were really comfortable.

Old Louisville Review
This area looks like it is up and coming. Getting to the house was not too bad. Unlocking the house was pretty easy as well. The house itself is incredibly awesome if you love old houses. The décor in the house made it feel super homelike. Everything was in good shape except for some loose door nobs. House was well supplied. Annie, the host, was very pleasant and easy to work with. Annie was able to answer any of our questions and gave good recommendations on things to do and stores to go to. Overall, great stay, and would recommend it.
