Was clean and inviting. Loved having 2 living areas. Fireplace was great and Christmas tree was a nice touch during the holidays!

Awesome house that's a bit off the beaten path in VT. An easy drive to Mt Snow and not too far from Stratton makes it a pretty flexible winter home base.

Each year we book a house in VT for the long weekend and we all agreed, this year was the best! The house was setup perfectly for our group. The big living space to play games and sit by the fire was exactly what we needed. And the downstairs was a great spot for the kids to have their own space. Thanks for a great stay!

We spent 5 nights during summer. The house is incredibly quiet and clean. A great accommodation for our only family but we wouldn’t lack of any space if would have been twice as much.

House was amazing! Very clean with a lot of space. We had 4 adults and 5 young adult kids (13-19). Plenty of space for all! Kids took over beautiful basement living room to hang out at night. We all came together in upstairs living room to watch scary movies. Huge kitchen for our dinner needs. Went to Bromley Mtn for summer fun, and tubing. All a short drive away. Great location! Great Stay!

We had a fantastic cousins weekend at Tranquility One! It was a great location 10 minutes to Mount Snow, 20ish minutes to Stratton, and close enough to several breweries when our plan to hit the slopes was thwarted by -40 degree wind chills! Plenty of storage/hooks/space for all our snow gear in the mud room, great sized bedrooms, and a nice open concept living space with comfy couches, made it a very comfortable stay. The kitchen had everything we needed to make a big family breakfasts and dinners. Lots of extra space with the downstairs living room as well, which would be great for the kids when they’re a little older! We will definitely be back! Thanks for having us!

Great house in an amazing location (10 mins to Mt Snow & 25 to Stratton). Impeccably clean, a clutch mud room for all your ski stuff and the company that manages the house was great. Toaster was broke and they delivered a new one the next day. Says sleeps 10, but that requires some bed sharing - it really sleeps 9. The house needs 1 more set of bunk beds and mirrors in all of the BR’s to make it perfect. Overall though, this was a wonderful place to stay - we will def be back!

We arrived at 4 PM to check which went smoothly until we needed water. There was minimal water pressure and it soon dropped to zero. We realized at that point that there was no manual with instructions for the property. We called the Vacasa support number and they needed to reach out to their local property manager who after two hours called us back. He was very helpful and knowledgeable and figured out what was wrong and walked us through the solution: the circuit breaker for the water pump was off. The pressure came on but the water was ice cold. He explained that we need to turn in the water in the downstairs bathroom (the kitchen is on the second floor) to trigger the demand water heater. That worked but it seems klugey for an expensive rental that was excellent in every other respect.

Great house with lots of room and amenities! The area feels remote but is close to lots of restaurants. Had a great time with the family

This home is spacious enough for a large family to spread out. It was well situated near spots to hike, bike and swim. The home had some really nice add-ons that really made the place feel cozy. The kitchen has everything you would need to whip up breakfast, lunch and dinner. When you don’t feel like cooking, many food options just 15 mins away. We had questions regarding trash/recycling/food scrap disposal and the property manager got back to me quickly with an answer. I’m really glad we found this home away from home. We hope to be back very soon.

We had a fine time here but, in the spirit of constructive criticism, there are a few things that could be improved.
The outside front “steps” -- really just a series of rocks -- look nice but are difficult to negotiate and even hazardous. We came very close to falling on a couple of occasions – and this was in dry conditions. This seems like a negligence suit in waiting. The rocks really should be replaced with real steps.
The kitchen lacks a dish drainer or drying rack. When we hand-washed a dish we didn’t know what to do with it. Even some dish towels would have helped.
There is a good assortment of dishes and cookware but not enough medium or large bowls for mixing and serving.
Attractive as the place is, it is surrounded by woods and therefore always rather dark in the daytime. Skylights would be a huge improvement.
Finally, I know you have cleaning and maintenance requirements, but a ten o’clock checkout feels rushed. An hour or two later would make for a more relaxing conclusion to a pleasant stay.

Great family ski house
Clean. Access is easy. Location close to both Stratton and Mt Snow. Kitchen was fairly well stocked. Could have used a large pot for pasta but otherwise equipped. Lots of space for gathering and socializing. Beds were comfortable.

Perfect VT lodging!
We had a wonderful stay at this perfect Vermont home! The location was easy to get to and made for a couple of great ski days (one at Stratton and one at Mt Snow). We had a fire roaring most of the time we were there and the kitchen was great for cooking big meals. Check in/out was also simple. We'd definitely recommend this home to others and hope to be back soon!

Perfect Ski Lodging
Usually when we arrive at a place we feel the photos were a little off the truth, but this beautiful VT getaway was exactly what the photos showed and MORE. We booked this for a Christmas getaway. (We being four seniors and six twenty-somethings) It was exactly that. A place made for skiing and relaxing and eating and sleeping 10 people very comfortably. It was decorated for Christmas which made us feel so at home. There was LOADS of firewood. We had a soothing fire every day. Wifi worked perfectly so we were able to have the perfect movie playing, White Christmas, as all the guests arrived. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, There were also plenty of linens...towels, blankets, pillows. My husband and I had the loft bedroom with the king sized bed. One of my favorite pastimes was standing on the balcony overlooking the living room and watching everyone having a fabulous time. I loved sitting in the rocking chair and looking out on the snow covered woods. We enjoyed skiing Mt. Snow and Stratton, the latter being my favorite, The mud room, aka ski/snowboard equipment room was absolutely perfect for all of our gear for our four night stay. I appreciated the washer/dryer so much as our ski clothes were soaked the first day.
Suggestions: make sure your phone is set to cellular on Wifi because there is no cell service in this area.
Also....Get gas on your way in...the nearest station we could find was 20 minutes away. And our first day there the roads were pure ice! So be sure to have all your food and drink with you when you arrive, if in winter. The weather is unpredictable. However, if I were to get snowed in anywhere I would prefer this beautiful house as I would have everything I need.
