This is a beautiful home and would stay again; but have some comments and suggestions:
1. Area is slightly run down/ lots of road construction, not too close to walkable streets.
2. As you exit the garage there is a high cement rise from the transition between garage and sidewalk which scraped our car and can cause damage. you can see how many cars have had same problem by the multiple cement cuts; easy fix: have someone sand down the cement rise.
3. Parking ; although it is somewhere in the internet, you should clearly state: how to provide parking for second car: Need a permit? there are not obvious parking meters.
overall really enjoyed our stay.

This updated property was perfect for our family. We were celebrating a U of A graduation. Convenient for Ubers and driving and parking in the private garage. The outdoor patio is a great spot to sit and talk. And the inside is spacious and clean. Highly recommend.

My family thoroughly enjoyed our three-night stay at this property (our first time to Tucson). As listed, the home was clean and beautifully appointed. It provided ample space for our family with bedroom arrangements that suited our family perfectly. The office space off of the master was also great my son as he was able to complete some work tasks while away from home. My family really loved the beautiful, private patio space as we could spend some time together while enjoying the great Tucson weather. The location is fantastic as we walked to restaurants and was also in easy driving distance to other attractions (UA, Saguaro NP, Desert Museum). We would definitely stay here again!

House is well situated within walking distance of major downtown attractions. Among le space to spread out. Garage is challenging for longer or lower cars, but still workable. Convenient entry to house from garage. Lots of smart tvs.

Loud freight train nearby was annoying . Lack of basic providions including garbage bags, a sponge dishwasher soap, etc. We had to buy all kinds of basic things. There was no information including where to put the garbage. The water in one of the showers did not get hot. House in need of TLC. I do not recommend.

Great location to a walkable part of downtown. Comfortable place with good amenities. Has garage parking.

I rented this property for a sister’s weekend with my two sisters. The property was beautiful and had everything we needed. We also enjoyed the area and ability to walk around downtown Tucson and nearby restaurants. Having El Charro so close was a bonus! I would recommend it and definitely rent it again.

Quality-built historic home that perfectly accommodated our extended family gathering. Plenty of common space, we particularly enjoyed the courtyard’s fireplace and large kitchen island. There’s also a few great restaurants within a couple blocks.

My siblings and I booked this property for a short 3-day family reunion and we could not have been happier with our choice!
Everything about this home was exquisite. We loved the idea of having at least one bedroom downstairs with quarter bath and the master bedroom upstairs huge with a lovely bathroom. My sister and I shared the large third bedroom upstairs, outfitted with two comfortable queens, ceiling fan, and multiple pillow options.
We enjoyed morning coffee and conversation around the ample dining room (which seated 8) and had our choice of comfy seating in the living room, as well. The walled-in patio with built-in fireplace, climbing fuchsia, and oversized decorative urn exuded a spa-like feeling that transported us to a little bit of paradise.
The kitchen came complete with every appliance one could want, a dual coffeemaker that could make a carafe or individual cup using pods, and a huge middle island (chalkboard painted for added fun doodling!) perfect for food prep and family socializing. The interior décor was done so tastefully in a minimalist style with earth tones, framed art, and pieces of interest, making every room and space so comfortable, soothing, and aesthetically inviting.
Check-in and out was a “breeze”!
The location of this property is centrally located to the University of Arizona, artsy and funky coffee shops, vibrant neighborhood eateries, and within an easy drive to hiking/walking trails. A real “GEM”! You will not be disappointed!

Even though the place is beautiful, I would not stay here again. With tax and fees it ended up being over $400 a night. Too expensive for this place. Plus, owner did not care about the extreme exit from garage that scraped the bottom of the car no matter how slow you went and blamed it on our car. Plus he needs to purchase a permit as the homeowner so the 2nd or 3rd car doesn’t have pay for meters or a lot.

This property is beautiful, with high ceilings, classy furnishings and a spacious, lovely private patio! The location is perfect, within walking distance of many restaurants, the art museum, etc. The upstairs master bedroom with the balcony looking over the patio is a dream. We would definitely stay here again.

We needed a comfortable place to stay while moving our daughter back to school and this was definitely that! The location was fantastic, too! We’ll definitely try & stay here again!

The property is very large and located in a quiet, historic downtown area. The owner was very responsive and accommodating. We stayed in the property during one of the hottest summers ever and one of the A/C did work as well as it should. He tried to repair it but as he couldn’t he offered us a substantial refund.

We came to town with family for a wedding. The property was walking distance and the neighborhood was very cute. The patio was great for hanging out and visiting and the whole place served as a great home base for us.

Lovely and comfortable stay at your property! We had so much room! Thank you for your quick assistance with all things to make the stay great! Wish we had more time to just rest in the patio area and to grill, but we are explorers and everything was in walking distance!

Had plenty of space for the 4 of us. 3 bedrooms, 2 up, one down were well located for privacy. Nice private courtyard for sunning or lounging. Didn't use the grill or fireplace as it was warm weather. Perfect spot to stay for the FolkFest. Bring earplugs if you don't like the train noise. We did and it helped.

Property is nicely located for an easy walk out the front door to coffee shops, museums, and restaurants in downtown Tucson, while central to much of Tucson via car.
Nicely furnished, high ceilings, no owner clutter, an open kitchen, and a quiet private courtyard make this a comfortable home.

Excellent house. Some nits: Barbecue grill was dirty, could not start outdoor fireplace, and one of the shower doors upstairs needs aligning. Kitchen was well stocked with a good set of knives. Comfortable house for a group of 5 adults. Centrally located home near U of A and downtown. only downside is it is near a mjaor freight train track which at times can be noisy. Would rent this house again.

We loved this property and especially the location in the Presidio district of Tucson. Great restaurants, museums, etc were within a very short walk. The convenient access to downtown was a definite plus but we were surprised how easy and quick we could access Safeway and Albertsons with very little traffic. Most important for us was the super easy access to hiking at Painted Hills, TM Park, Sweetwater Preserve and Suguaro NP West. The house is awesome, the private garage is a bonus and Andrew is an awesome host.

We had a wonderful stay over New Year's. The property is beautiful and within easy walking distance to all of downtown. You can hear the trains at night, but you can't beat this property. We'll be back soon!

We loved this beautiful house! Even nicer than shown in photos! Home had everything we needed. Andrew responded quickly to any questions we had. Convenient location to walk to Fox Theater and downtown restaurants. El Charro across the street was excellent. For anyone coming in late, though, El Charro closes at 8:30 pm.

I think I will dream about this house for the rest of my life. I hope I get to stay here again someday. I've been fascinated with Tucson architecture ever since I visited friends living in Barrio Viejo (I think that's the correct name) 20 plus years ago on one summer day when monsoon rains poured down. So it was very cool to get to experience a Tucson home with a courtyard and part of a historical neighborhood.
We were in Tucson for El Tour de Tucson bike ride and it was so conveniently located to all the downtown places we wanted to go. We went to The Monica and El Charro and a few other places, which were great, but I never even wanted to leave the house - it was so pleasant and comfortable and peaceful and pretty.
Anything that I needed, I just looked around a little and was able to find.
Thanks, Andrew, for such a great house to spend a few days in. I really hope to visit again!

I grew up in Tucson and still have family in the area. When I started planning this trip I wanted to be close to everything the downtown area had to offer and and be close to the U of A. This house was a perfect combination of great location and a beautifully restored historic property in the Presidio.
The outdoor courtyard was a beautiful design and allowed for that classic Fall outdoor experience. The home is very comfortable and well appointed…I’ll be back!

El Presidio Historic District was perfect. Everything you needed was provided. Each room was well appointed. Highly recommend staying at here.

We stayed here with 2 other couples and it was a perfect landing spot for our visit with our kids at UofA for family weekend. Can't wait to return! The house had everything we needed and the owner was very communicative and helpful. My only 2 suggestions would be to have more outdoor furniture on the spectacular patio and mattress toppers to soften the beds (the mattresses were very firm). Otherwise everything was amazing!

We very much enjoyed our stay. The home was spacious and comfortable, with everything we needed. Communication with the property manager was excellent. Highly recommend!

Second Stay
Our second stay was as good as our first stay six months ago. Only thing different is this stay we used the outdoor grill -- worked nicely and the downstairs toilet has a slow leak and refills the bowl about every 10 to 12 minutes. Highly recommend.

Fantastic house for large families!!
We slept 8 people comfortably here for my daughter’s graduation. Great location close to the University, shopping and restaurants. The only inconvenience was parking multiple cars. There is public parking across street but you do have to pay. There is a garage for one car. We would definitely stay here again.

Looking forward to spending more time there while in Tucson!

We spent the weekend here for a soccer tournament at the Kino Sports Complex. The location and house were just perfect. We hope to return. Andrew was extremely helpful and responded immediately. Highly recommend!

Impeccable
The lower level offers a spacious living/entertainment area. The bedrooms are large, well appointed with comfortable mattresses and bedding. Bathrooms are just, well, really nice. The entire place is tastefully decorated. You can not get much more convenient to the downtown bar/restaurant district, the Art Museum and the cable car to the U of A, which is certainly within walking distance, as is the eclectic 4th Avenue. The internal courtyard is private and relaxing. All the necessities are provided. I went to School in the 80's at U of A and have been back probably 20 times, including the foothills. This place is tops on the list. Finally, management is completely responsive.

Tucson urban experience
Great location and beautifully appointed townhouse, near the original El Charro and several other restaurants. We are a group of cyclists so it was great for all of us since we were close to the bike paths and highways that took us all over the area. The appliances all worked great, and the downstairs living space was very comfortable. Beds and baths were adequate although the first floor bed user had to go to the upper level baths for showers. All the appliances worked great, although we did not use the outdoor grill or fireplace. The only challenges with the location is the freight trains that roll thru the neighborhoods at all hours blaring their horns; it is what it is so long as you know about this then its OK. We chalk it up to the total Tucson urban experience. Overall property was correctly listed, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay at this residence again. Andrew is a great host and is very responsive.

The house was amazing! Kitchen had everything we needed to cook for our athletes while we were visiting for a tournament. We were able to grill food one night for the players. It was perfect!
