About this house rental
This charming bungalow was originally constructed in the 1920's and has been completely renovated in 2021. Our historic miner's cottage maintains it's old world charm and is lovingly decorated throughout.
The property is located on a quiet, dead end street next to Miner's ball field and only a short walk to the center of historic downtown Louisville. Perfectly situated just blocks away from coffee shops, bars, restaurants, shopping and community events. A short drive to many of Colorado's most notable attractions including Boulder, Denver, Red Rocks, Eldora ski mountain, Rocky Mountain National Park, Eldorado Canyon and the Colorado University campus.
The property includes two comfortable bedrooms with two adjoining bathrooms. Master bath has a walk in shower and guest bath features the original and restored clawfoot tub for soaking. Sofa beds are located in the living room and lounge area for additional sleeping accommodations. The kitchen has been completely updated with gas range, dishwasher, microwave, Sub Zero refrigerator, and coffee bar. The Lounge features a bar and turntable for playing your favorite vintage vinyl. The fenced back yard includes a "She Shed" equipped with a vintage refrigerator to serve up your favorite beverages, a flagstone patio, fire pit, koi pond, and a vintage 1970 Airstream Camper.Sit on the relaxing front porch for evening cocktails or sipping your morning coffee while watching a little league baseball game. Please note, airstream will be available to rent in the near future.
The BNSF train line runs through the center of Louisville near our home. This train line is a remnant of the historic Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway that was instrumental in opening up the west to eastern expansion. The whistle blows several times daily as the train moves through town. We consider this to be an important part of the history and charm of our town and home. https://youtu.be/cmBKHSZ1pcU
We hope you will enjoy our inviting and newly restored bungalow; it's sure to provide you a vacation that is both enjoyable and memorable.
Well behaved dogs are welcome with a $100 fee per dog for extra cleaning to ensure the house is thoroughly disinfected for future guests who may have allergies. Sorry no cats allowed.

Wonderful place! Everything you need! Nice and peaceful, and relaxing! The host was very accommodating and able to contact easily! Would recommend anybody to stay at this place if in the area

The home was absolutely pristine when we arrived. The backyard was a favorite hang out space for us. Plenty of seating and a great place to enjoy a drink, stargaze and watch the bats fly above. We loved how close the home was to local shops and eateries. We grabbed coffee and pastries most mornings and enjoyed oven fired pizza and local brews at night. Would definitely recommend this home for your next trip!

We absolutely loved our time at this rental. The property was super close to town, shopping, restaurants, etc., with everything about a five minute walk away.
The interior was absolutely adorable! Loved the cozy cottage-core vibe; the beds were comfortable with cloud like sheets/duvet, and the big mirror in my daughter’s bathroom was perfect for us to do outfit checks.
The backyard and she-shed were a nice oasis to use in the evenings. We also took advantage of the records and record player and Bose speaker and had a jam session while we played Uno.
The front porch is perfect for morning coffee, or after dinner drinks.
Overall, the best rental we’ve staying in and would definitely consider it again!

The house is so great for family get togethers and relaxing or just a cool place to hang out while seeing the sites of Colorado. The backyard is amazing and being walking distance to downtown Louisville is so convenient. We enjoyed hosting some family dinners with local relatives who also fell in love with the home. Andrea is so easy to work with and answers all questions pretty quickly. We will be back for sure

We came in town for a wedding! The location was perfect!!! Walking distance to downtown Louisville and a 5 minute walk to The Simon wedding venue! It was also 1-1.5 hours away from everything we did in addition to the wedding. The yard is perfect for entertaining. Andrea checked in with us regularly and answered all questions.

The house was a great location to restaurants, shops, and breweries. We only had to take a very short walk each day for dinner and breakfast with several options to choose from. The owners were extremely helpful with a few questions we had and were very accommodating. Our dog loved the large back yard. The home is very cute and comfortable. I will absolutely stay at this location when I return to visit family.

This place was so cute and charming. Definitely one of the best stocked rentals I've ever stayed in. The kitchen is stocked with everything you could possibly need plus lots of extras. It's always nice when things like kitchen towels, dish soap, and dishwasher detergent are provided. The location is fantastic and you can walk to everything in downtown Louisville in minutes. Highly recommend!

Pros; close to town, nicely updated kitchen, well equipped. Beds ok.
Cons: neighborhood run-down, very uncomfortable furniture in living room, airstream not available, noisy duck next to bedroom, weird air conditioner unit in bedroom venting through window. House is very old.
We have rented plenty of VRBOs and feel this was overpriced.

The house was perfect size for us.
Well maintained and updated throughout.
The portable AC units did their job against the 95 degree heat.
One issue with the hot water heater but it was easy to relight and no further issues.
We would definitely stay again.
And as former Louisville residents, it was right by downtown shops and restaurants, so we could visit our old haunts.

Comfortable charming home with a five minute walk to downtown Louisville. The downtown area has restaurants, shopping, shave ice, and a great street fair on Fridays including live music. The home was perfect for our stay and an easy drive to CU Boulder where we went to a concert and also an easy drive to red rocks which is a must see. The home was well equipped and it had everything we needed. We spent most of our time on the fabulous front porch enjoying the weather rain and shine. The house is near a railroad track but it wasn’t an issue, no horns and the train maybe comes by twice a day carrying freight, we were never disturbed by it and didn’t hear it from inside the house. The owner checked in with us on arrival and departure and was available to easily contact if we needed anything. The neighbors are so kind and helpful and everyone in the town was so friendly we will definitely be back! Thank you!

The location is ideal if you want to explor Denver, Boulder or the surrounding area.
Andrea is a friendly and attentive host.
