We had a short stay for the long weekend and not much time in the location. But if we had to stay for a week it would have needed reaching out to owner for some aspects. As the location was good and layout of space was roomy. Just needs a couple little touches and aspects to keep it maintained so it can be better appointed for future guests. For instance, suggest update listing description to note that its limited off-street parking and laundry isn't in the actual apartment but a separate part of the location across the way. Some aspects should be checked to ensure proper maintenance such as fridge has an error message that continually needs to be reset that prior guest that stayed had also highlighted. The 2nd bedroom canaster ceiling lights 3 out of 4 bulbs were burnt out. So only one light bulb was hanging on for dear life. Should provide or have available in the apartment space more than 4 towels for 4 guests. Keep in mind extra towel may be needed when women wash their hair. We looked for extra towels in the separate laundry room and couldn't make heads or tails of what was clean for us use so just used what we had available to us. Hot water in Shower is luke warm when bathroom facet gets really hot so not sure if different water heaters or if shower handle isn't working to turn enough for warmer shower.

We really enjoyed our stay! The house is great, nicely decorated with a cool vibe. The outdoor patio space is very relaxing. The neighborhood is quiet and beautiful and still very close to several LA and Hollywood attractions. Highly recommend staying here.

We could not have found a better, more lovely space to stay in Hollywood Hills!
Every aspect of this GORGEOUS home was clean, thoughtfully decorated and peaceful, with great views and incredibly comfortable!
The location is in a lovely neighborhood and so close to iconic Hollywood as well close to Griffith Park for night hiking and the ACFC Soccor game!
Diego is a fantastic host in every manner- will definitely book again!

Our daughter is a graduating high school senior. We gifted her a trip anywhere in the US. She chose Los Angeles and she selected this place. It was heavenly! Looks even better than the pictures! A safe and lovely neighborhood. We were able to walk down to Hollywood Blvd on a few occasions. It was centrally located to all our activities during our stay. The home was very clean and comfortable. A little bit of LA luxury!

Diego’s place was awesome. Very clean. Lots of natural lighting. Very comfy and cozy. Close to everything. Quaint and quiet dead end street. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip! Thanks again!!!

My family and I enjoyed our time in LA. The condo was beautiful and close to everything we wanted to see and do.

Beautiful Spanish style apartment with gorgeous views. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Nice large kitchen. Lovely outdoor patios. Quiet and peaceful. Our host, Diego, was very helpful. Parking is confusing, so be sure to read instructions carefully. Some of the furnishings are starting to show a little wear and tear and need to be updated. Little things like bedside table lamps, luggage racks and washable bath mats would make the stay a little more luxurious, but overall it was very nice. If you're looking for old Hollywood glamour, this is the place to stay.

This is a beautiful space but poorly apointed, supplied and dusty. There was no information book provided. The sofa (stained and covered in throws) shown in the picture is the only place to sit, other than four chairs at the table. There are two nice balconies but no seating. The master bedroom has one "crazy" Roman style chair and the second bedroom has none. No luggage racks. Only two rolls of toilet paper for four people over four days!. Minimal kitchen equipment. We watered the poor dying plants.

Diego proved an excellent host, ensuring clear communication during our six-day stay in his spacious villa. Accompanied by my 18-year-old daughter and 7-month-old son, we appreciated the villa's generous size, although it's important to note it's a duplex with a lower-level unit sharing the entrance and outdoor space.
Ideal for exploring Hollywood or attending Rose Bowl events, the villa suits city stays and local activities. However, parking is limited, making it advisable to skip bringing a car and Lyft to avoid parking a block away or tickets.
The hillside location, with 20 to 30 steps, was unexpected and challenging for those with small children (with car seats or strollers) or persons with mobility issues. Knowing this in advance would have influenced our decision.
Unfortunately, the lack of washer and dryer accessibility and one set of towels per person posed inconveniences during our stay. The kitchen gorgeous, while equipped with essentials (pots and pans, dishware in basic utensils) lacked basic seasonings and cooking utensils, prompting additional purchases for meal preparation (bring your own).
In conclusion, Diego's villa is great for specific travelers and activities. Yet, potential guests should be aware of stairs, limited parking, and the need for extra kitchen provisions. Addressing these details could significantly enhance the overall experience.

I would buy this house and move to California if I could afford it. Beautiful home that had everything we needed. Great location - Hollywood was a short walk away but still felt like we were tucked away in a neighborhood.

Walking distance to Hollywood Boulevard and Hollywood Bowl! Close to the freeway. Was easy to drive to Griffith Observatory, Beverly Hills, and Santa Monica. The house was spacious and a welcome change from a week of staying in hotels. Property manager was responsive and communications were clear. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a place to stay in Hollywood!

We really appreciated how close this house was to the Hollywood Bowl. We were able to walk there and avoid the dreaded Bowl traffic. It's also walking distance to the Hollywood Blvd, the Chinese Theater, Walk of Fame, etc.
While there's not a garage to park in, there's a neighborhood parking permit, and we never had any trouble finding parking. The house itself is hidden - tucked off the road on a hillside, in a quiet and beautiful location. It's nicely furnished and comfortable, and has an old-school Hollywood vibe.

It was a great and convenient location. I played some Jazz music, had some wine, and relaxed on the couch outside. I was able to find a parking spot easily on the block. Nice time.

This is a beautiful property and everything was perfect. It was the oasis we needed in this busy city. Diego was very welcoming and quick to respond to our questions no matter how small.

The place is comfortable and equipped with items as described. The location is great, 10 mins and you are on the Hollywood strips. Diego, the property owner, is very responsive. The only downside is the acoustic of the place that you can hear everyone in the bedrooms and bathroom. If it is for a couple, then it is fine but if you have a family and group of friends, it can be challenging

Nice and tucked away in a quiet location, but not too far from the action. Roomy living room and kitchen. Nicely appointed. A comfortable place to stay if you are visiting Hollywood!

Diego's lovely property is up in the Hollywood Hills quite close to the famous sign and other landmarks. Nice views and peaceful. We were staying while my husband had a procedure at Cedars Sinai, and it had what we needed for a restful stay.
The area is great for walking. Just be careful of cars. This place is well located to visit any Los Angeles destinations.

The house was beautiful and the perfect place to stay after my surgery... comfortable and fully equipped. Diego was very attentive and quick to respond to any and all questions. My wife said that the WIFI was hit or miss at times in certain locations within the house, but it seemed fine to me. The only con was that it was quite loud throughout all hours of the day and night. Helicopters flying around, neighbors playing loud music and there is a parking lot right below the residence where they were doing landscape work. I am not sure if this is unusual or not. Otherwise, a fantastic place to stay with a wonderful host.

We enjoyed our stay in this property. It was in a good location very close to Hollywood Boulevard (within walking distance), as well as being central to other locations in the city. However, we had some issues with towels, where we had no washclothes or additional hand towels. About two days into our stay we found that the extra towels had been left in the dryer as well as the washing machine from before we had gotten there. There also seemed to be a problem with the fridge where something seemed to be dysfunctional with the temperature setting, and it would keep making beeping noises at any time of the day or night. The toilet paper holder was also missing (or broken), so the rolls of toilet paper were just sitting on the back of the toilet. Overall, the property was good, but these are just a few issues that should probably be resolved.

Cute duplex, but no parking.
The duplex was very cute and the pictures are very accurate. It has a lot of charm and is decorated very authentically, which I appreciated. It was not disclosed to us, however, that there was no on-site parking. You are provided a parking pass and only street parking is available. We have younger children and often came home to the hilly, narrow neighborhood with no place to park. My husband had to drop us off and drive all around looking for a spot to park. Then walk back. It kept us from going out at night. The floor of the unit was also really dirty and I could not find a mop so my kids got dirt all over their feet and then drug it everywhere.
Overall, the place was super cute and I would stay there if I did not have kids or did not need to be out at night. It was super convenient to so many tourist attractions. With kids, however, the place did not work well for us because of the parking. I would also suggest maybe including a mop, toilet plunger, and some additional kitchen supplies for families, like mixing bowls, measuring cups, additional drinking glasses, kitchen towels, and washcloths for the bathroom.

Beautiful home in special neighborhood
Diego’s home is beautiful…a special experience of a villa that feels like you’ve traveled to another country. It’s on a quiet street in a historic neighborhood, that feels like southern Italy. It is home-y…and so easy to have a place to relax into…in the midst of LA. Diego was also immediately responsive to communication…through text, email and phone.

Cozy centrally located villa
The villa is located a stones throw from the Hollywood Bowl and the Magic Castle and just minutes away from anywhere else you’d want or need to be. Beds were comfy and living room is well and naturally lit during the day due to all the Spanish style windows surrounding the villa. Would definitely stay here again.
