We had an amazing time! The stay was very comfortable and exactly what we expected. We saw more bears at the VRBO than at the park. Our kids had an experience that they will remember forever! The driveway was a lil challenging because we’ve never driven on mtn roads but, that was our skills :-) it was a great stay and highly recommend!

If you want to be up on a mountain with a view of the Smokies, this place is perfect. Quiet, clean, relaxing, and about 15 minute travel down to Pigeon Forge.

We had a fantastic stay at this cabin. We had enough room for the 10 of us, enjoyed the grill and fire pit and hot tub. No complaints at all!! Beautiful property. The roads leading up to the cabin and the driveway took some getting used to for sure, but it’s the mountains and it led us up to a fantastic view. Thank you for a great place to gather with family.

Took a family trip to the mountains and couldn’t have been happier with this home! The view was beautiful, the front porch was a fun hangout spot and we enjoyed s’mores by the fire! The road has a hard turn by the top and the parking was a bit smaller than we thought but it was easy to move our cars around. Overall a great home!

I'm giving it an all-star 5 rating, particularly due to the lightning-speed responsiveness to any questions. The location is fantastic, and the cabin has nice features. There is enough space, but it will become a very tight space for more than 8. I say it is ideal for 6. There were 9 of us (five adults and four kids), so it was a bit tight, but we still enjoyed it.
One thing - the cabin was clean, but with a little extra effort, it could have been squeaky A++ clean. I guess it's because it's peak season. Just a thought.
Would come back any time!

The cabin was just as advertised❤️
Beds were comfortable.
I really wanted to leave 5 stars and would have if I wasn’t told that my daughters cleaned up before I got there. The toilet was really nasty, needs dusting, sweeping, and mopping.

I took my young adult sons and one of their friends to Gatlinburg for a winter trip and chose this cabin based on the reviews and pictures. The cabin is nice and in a good location with a beautiful view. I am sure it would be a nice stay at other times of the year. Unfortunately, there were some details not clearly relayed in the listing that were not revealed until 2 days before our trip. One is the 10 hours of "quiet time" enforced by the HOA (10pm to 9am) and the treacherous driveway that is not pictured in anyway on the listing. (I did note on going back over the listing that there is one picture of the driveway--not the 45 degree turn--with a small note underneath stating that a 4WD may be needed during winter but that it is rare). I can now personally report that 4WD isn't helpful when the driveway isn't salted or plowed. It snowed the first night during our stay. There was no snow shovel in the cabin and no salt to treat the stairs or walkways around the cabin. I cleared the steps with my own plastic spatula that I brought to clear my car windows if needed. The driveway was never cleared or treated during the 5 days we were there making the 45 degree turn to maneuver to get out (without guardrails) quite a feat, even with 4WD. I must say that the mountain roads were cleared by the day after the snowstorm and we were able to travel off the mountain in the 4WD. Not a safe place in the snow.

Our family getaway was perfect at your cabin! We enjoyed the view so much and the cabin was just the right size for the 7 of us! Thank you so much for sharing your home with us!
8.0 / 10.0
The cabin itself was nice. The driveway and parking are sketchy at best. The owner needs to pay closer attention to his cleaning crew and if all of his appliances work. Part of our family slept on a sofa bed. When it was unfolded the old used sheet was still in the bed, dirty and wads of hair on the sheet. Trash under the bed. We cleaned it up but not what we wanted to do in vacation, clean up someone else’s mess. Trash left by the fire pit. We cleaned it up because we didn’t want to be charged for leaving the cabin in a mess.

The location and the views were exceptional. We enjoyed the wild life the area had to offer. We wanted to get away from the noise and traffic of downtown Gatlinburg and this was just perfect. The trip up to the cabin could be challenging for some but it was exciting and was expected. It is definitely up in the hills. Highly recommend to the outdoor traveler. Host communicated frequently to make sure all was well. Check in and check out was a breeze. Everything you needed was included.
