About this house rental

We recently purchased this 3 bedroom, 1 1/2 batch, 2-story home on a large lot that was built in 1895. The front entrance has an enclosed front porch. The spacious kitchen was renovated 10 years ago. A 30x30 garage has been added behind the house.

The kitchen, living room, office, and dining room and both bathrooms are on the 1st floor. The 3 bedrooms are upstairs. The spacious master bedroom has ample closet space, 2 dressers, 2 nightstands and a queen size bed. The smallest bedroom has a queen size bed, a nightstand, and a dresser. The closet has window. The 3rd bedroom has 2 pyramid bunk beds and a dresser. All 3 bedrooms are equipped with pedestal fans and area rugs.

The full bathroom has a tub/shower combination, tile floors and a pedestal sink. The 1/2 bath has a toilet in a single sink vanity.

The kitchen has all the necessities for your dining and cooking needs. We have provided a crock pot so your meals can be prepped in the morning and upon returning in the evening, your meals are ready to eat. There is a dining room table able to seat 6 in the kitchen. There is a large refrigerator able to store food during your stay. There is a gas stove and oven as well. Dish soap and cleaning supplies are available under the sink. Garbage service is provided by the City of Ironwood with a trash bin and recycle container as well.

The living room has a television with cable access and board games. There is plenty of seating available for entertaining or watching television. The room has blinds on the window providing privacy and dark-out curtains. The heating thermostat can be adjusted for your comfort.

There is a large 30x30 garage should you decide to stow your vehicle or equipment. If you are using your own snow machines, ATVs, or motorcycles, they can be stored in the small garage and ready for you in the morning.

The home is equipped with a smart front door lock. A unique, temporary pass code is provided to each guest for safety. As time permits, we will be adding motion-detector lights in both the front and back yard. The porch light will be on a smart-switch with scheduled programming to come on at sunset and off by 10:00 pm. The lights in the front room will also be on a smart switch programmed for when guests arrive. This fall, the intent is to add a smart thermostat so that the house is comfortable when guests arrive.

October and November are great months to see the Northern Lights on Lake Superior away from light pollution of the city. The house was well maintained with only a few minor exceptions. The fans were dusty. The tv remote needs batteries. The dush drainer was moldy. The knives were dull. We were very comfortable
