This place was pretty nice. It was on the water, we didn't catch many fish but saw quite a few. It lacked in cleanliness a bit but we had a good time.
I'd stay here again maybe try another unit on that drive as well. The stairs were a bit steep to the 2nd floor. It was decorated nicely as well.

This place was great! Very clean and comfortable.

We looked the look for this property but where quite disappointed. The bathroom ceiling had paint flaking of it. The hall way upstairs had a large brown mark on the ceiling from a leak.
The house is a bit old and tired. We couldn't get in our parking spaces as other cars parked there.
The location is fabulous and the sunset view was amazing.

Great stay. The location was perfect and the sunsets were gorgeous.

Area is beautiful. Water out front was perfect. We saw dolphins. Sea turtles right there. House was great. Having kayaks and SUP was also nice. House itself was basic in terms of decorations But who wants to stay inside at Duck Key? Vacasa staff was great. Helped fix a door. Found our iPods after we left and sent them back to our home address. Overall a positive stay. If Owners tried a little more in the Interior decorating ot would be five star. But we had a great time.

This area is great and the homes are nice with ample room and all the things you need. The good parts are the views are amazing, kitchen is nicely stocked, beds are comfy, no bugs, nice pillows and nice decor. If your looking for just a nice house to stay at this is a great spot.
There were only a few minor issues with the space, the dish washer did not work, after 3 days of trying I somehow got it to run once. I had seen this issue on previous reviews so it gave me some concern that this was a big management company rather than a individual owner. It took a few days to get back to me using the messaging service. Outside of the main door and the sliding glass doors, every window was painted shut. Every screen door had taken a real beating and was tough to close and had tears in them.
I have been going to hawks kay for the last 20 years, and it is one of the more expensive places to stay in the keys. At the same time it is well worth it, as the amenities with the resort are amazing. I had stayed in these exact units before, so when the resort was booked I looked at VBRO. The issue I did not see was the fine print, its on the hawks kay property, but the listing is Duck Key, and when you go into the review you then realize your renting a house only. No use of either pools (or the one by the house), no gym, no kids area. If I had never gone to Hawks kay this would be just a house to stay at, but since I have and the cost difference was so minimal, I would opt to pay a little

Mattress in second bedroom needs to be replaced. The center of the bed sunk in. Other than that, the unit was clean and comfortable with a beautiful view

This was our first time staying at this property and our first time staying in Duck Key. The property was as advertised. Very clean. We very much enjoyed sitting on the balcony and watching the sunset. It is the PRIME sunset spot in the community. Loved the neighborhood walkability and the close restaurant the evening we returned too late to go elsewhere. We were able to view fireworks on New Years Eve from several places on the property. Only drawback to mention is the second bedroom is somewhat small. We had an adult couple sleeping there and it was a bit tight. All in all a great stay! Thank you!

This house is at the perfect location.
We love our stay to be away from all the holiday crowd and at scenic locations. This house is the right match. Would highly recommend and would love to visit again.

The house was nice and comfortable, and we enjoyed our stay. The location is great- about midway between Key West and Key Largo, and we did day trips to both for snorkeling and exploring. The water outside the house was the most beautiful teal color, and I saw a green heron and lots of jellyfish while paddleboarding. The emails I received leading up to the trip made me very worried about the check in process, stating I’d need paperwork (I didn’t receive) to show a security guard. I spoke to someone on check in day and she assured me I wouldn’t have to go through a security guard and would be all set just with the code that was sent via text, and this was true. Getting into the house was simple. I appreciate that parking is included.

The house offered us no surprises upon arrival and during our stay. It was clean and airy. The air conditioning worked well. We did not use the microwave or oven. We did store a few things in the refrigerator and it worked perfectly along with the freezer.
The grounds were nicely kept!
All in all...my wife and I found the house comfortable and inviting.

Overall nice clean place to stay. Bed and pillow were great. Washer and dryer unit was not working, they did call to tell us that as we were checking in, though.
Fortunately, we had packed enough clothes and they were nice enough to reimburse us for not having the unit during the entire stay. Location is good for people who are in the middle of the keys and are exploring either north or south.

The view out the back door and off the master balcony was incredible. The unit was well kept and clean. And for the location I thought the price was very reasonable.

Villa was clean but there was an odd smell. Messaged villa management company but no reply whatsoever. Also a guy turned up to service AC unexpectedly. Would have been nice to have been warned!

We loved the location, and how the layout of the condo is. Was perfect for us.

This unit was clean buts needs some improvements. There is a lack of utensils. The unit needs painted. Couch is need of replacing. The coffee table has a glass top and If you bump it, it will cut your leg. Beds were comfortable.

Quaint little unit that was nice and relaxing with no frills. When accessing our unit, the codes for the door didn’t work as I had read about prior guests having the same issue. Had to call vacation advisor to get a code for a key to access our vacation unit. You can’t use the pool or any of the other amenities because it’s not part of the resort. Knew this going there, but still isn’t an ideal situation for the price. Would go back, but would also check out other places that will offer your family more.

My wife and I loved staying here for our honeymoon. Great location and amazing views.

The unit has an amazing view and great location. We liked Duck Key very much and its proximity to Marathon. We used the paddle board and kayak multiple times each day and really appreciated their availability. One warning, check the currents at the bridges if you plan to paddle through one. It can be really challenging to make it through with a strong current running against you.
A couple of things made us rate this 4 instead of 5. The unit is small, which wasn't a surprise. We saw the pictures. To get to the upstairs balcony through the master bedroom requires some maneuvering to avoid bumping into the bed's footboard. With both bathrooms being so small, shelving would be handy to store toiletries.
A big draw for us in selecting this unit was that a paddle board and kayak are provided. We received two emails with instructions on where the key to the storage area was located, which wasn't where we finally found the key. It was in a plastic pouch stuck to the inside of one of the kitchen cabinets. Who is the key being hidden from?
The key location may have been the reason for our last problem. The key is on a neoprene lanyard. We can only guess that the lanyard was put away wet because the glasses and dishes in that cabinet had a crusty film on them.
We had some communications issues with Vacasa. When we couldn't find the key to the storage area, I called, left an email and a text the first night of our stay. Never got a response. Vacasa sends multiple texts and emails, which are probably automated, but they aren't responsive to direct contact.
We would definitely recommend this unit as a beautiful vacation spot.

It was a great place to stay. However, the electronic lock shut us out on the second day. All of our paperwork was inside the condo, so we had no access. It took some doing, but VACASA mgmt got us back in. My suggestion is always keep a copy of VACASA documents in your car! :-)

It was a nice house with beautiful sunsets. Half way between key largo and Key west

This was just a quick little getaway for us. We live just about 4 hours away in Fort Myers. Very happy that we found this villa. The view is beautiful. And we came in great time. Around us was very quiet. I like that it is the end unit. We overpacked bringing our keurig coffee maker, beach towels so on so fourth.
But the unit is well supplied. There’s plenty of dish ware and pots pans if you want to cook.
There’s actually three regular coffee makers.
It was clean but I’d say they probably need to have a deep clean dust fans and walls.
It was really nice to have the kayak and paddle board available just underneath the unit.
The sunsets off the top balcony gorgeous. And we were there to see the meteor shower.
I’d suggest also maybe supply beach towels.
The communication through Vrbo was great. They kept us in the loop.
We would book again.

Let's start with the location, what a beautiful view with access to a calm bay. The kayak and paddle board are a plus for this place. You can put them in the water right out back and have the most peaceful area to paddle around in! One day, I was surrounded by a mom, dad and baby manatee, it was the coolest! Bring some water shoes, there a re a few rocks to conquer in order to get in. The place was nice, not over the top. It had everything we needed from dishes to towels. The master bed was comfortable and like others had mentioned the twin beds in the second room were placed weird, but I guess they had no other choice. You can close the door to that room. They need assigned parking, while we were there during the week, everyone was respectful and parked in the one spot outside of their unit, but once the weekend came and more than one car per unit came along, they really didn't care if they took your spot or not!!! I really don't have anything bad to say, there were a couple things that needed some repair, but nothing major enough for me to mention here. I did let Vacasa know. We will be back next year!

Although rooms are small, everything was clean and in great condition and beds were very comfortable. Location is good. We stayed here for 2 nights while our Keys house was tented for termites . Convenient parking right outside the unit. Restaurant within a short walk. Overall a great spot.

Good just small with one bath with kids not very good I had all boys so at least mine don?t primp. Tv down stairs didn?t work or cable didn?t work I should say. No pool which was our bad and closest public pool was 20 min away. That was on us... we should have read better... lol after reading a ton they blur together. They rest was good beds comfortable clean and all that.

Woke up to a gorgeous view of the water behind the house! Quiet neighborhood lizards are kind of funny! We also saw nurse sharks, lobster, parrot fish, octopus, squid and tarpon all behind the house! We will definitely be returning next year!

We loved our stay there only one suggestion needs a set of pots and pans if possible but the rest excellent stay
10.0 / 10.0
Great home base for our vacation in the Keys. Unit is on the smaller side, but great value for what you get. If we planned to just hang around the condo, would want a larger unit to spread out, but this was perfect with us being on the run the entire time. The location on Duck Key is fantastic. Right on the water, west facing to watch the sunsets, and literally in the middle of the Keys allowing you to go either direction for things to do.
8.0 / 10.0
Spent the first hour on the porch with groceries waiting for Vacasa to reset code to get in. They would not contact anyone for an hour until we finally called back and reached the owner. She was so kind and helped us right away. Apologized they didn’t contact her sooner. Place was clean and great location. Only thing wrong was microwave was broken, and tvs upstairs weren’t connected to cable.

The views are great, nice porch and lawn area. Inside was clean enough, furnishings are pretty dated. We were unable to enter the unit at check in. The digital lock was broken and it took several hours to get in. We enjoyed the kayak and paddle board.

Very nice budget friendly
It has what you need for a stay at the keys.
Agree that it may be better suited for small kids as bed does block the door a little.
Love the wash/dryer included.
The one bathtub was a bit inconvenient but luckily a half bath on lower level.
Great view and added bonus of kayak and paddle board use was cool.
Quiet neighborhood feel with beautiful view.
